Most of SickTanicK's time growing up in his youth was spent fiddling around with a 1970's "Fun Machine", composing, learning, and producing his own music. As the years went by he went on to learn other instruments, such as the guitar and bass. In his teenage years, he became interested in the occult. It wasn't long before he had finished reading Anton LaVey's body of work, books by Aleister Crowley, and other occult-related books. Later on, he joined the local death metal band “Convulsion”, later called "Necronemesis", but creative differences caused him to leave. After a wile he caught the attention of Zodiak, who owned the Horrorcore record label Serial Killin Records. Zodiak, impressed by SickTanicK's skills, not only signed him, but also made him the head producer for all of SKR’s artists.
