Music: Klaxons
Klaxons are a british Alternative Rock/New Rave formed in London in 2005 by Jamie Reynolds, James Righton and Simon Taylor-Davis. Their first album, "Myths of the Near Future" was released in January 2007. It was well recieved in the UK, hitting the #2 mark in the UK album chart. Popular singles from the album included "Golden Skans", "Gravity's Rainbow", "It's Not Over Yet" and "Magick". They released their second album "Surfing the Void" in August 2010. They also released an EP entitled "Landmarks of Lunacy" which included 5 songs which were from an Ill Fated Recording Session for their second album on Christmas 2010.

Their music contains examples of:

  • British Accents: And they sing in falsetto, too!
  • Cover Version: "It's Not Over Yet", which was originally by the singer Grace.
  • Magick: The name of one of their songs.
  • What Could Have Been: Their second album was supposed to have a Progressive Rock style added to it, but was rejected by Klaxons' label. 5 tracks from the album were released in an EP titled "Landmarks of Lunacy".
