Tropes:- Cross-Dressing Voices: She voices quite a few boys, such as Chad, Brandon, Buzz, Wubbzy, and the countless amount of additional voices she does.
- Fan Nickname: Affectionately refers to her fans as "Fire Nation peasants".
- Genki Girl: She's a very cheerful person who likes to smile a lot. She also plays these roles sometimes, with Goo being one of the biggest examples.
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Once you know her basic voices, she becomes much more recognizable in her roles.
- I Am Not Azula: Though unlike most instances of this trope, she lists Azula as one of her favorite characters to voice, and doesn't hate or try to distance herself from the role.
- Large Ham: Self-admitted. She's expressed that characters like Azula and Mandy are a fun challenge to play because they're very unlike her real-life personality.
- Mean Character, Nice Actor: Mostly known for playing the psychotic Azula, but is nice to her fandom in real life.
- Motor Mouth: As Goo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Contrary to popular belief, her voice isn't sped up for the role, Grey does that herself.
- Ms. Fanservice: She's often cast for these sort of roles.
- One of Us: Big time. Her Twitter
and tumblr are examples. - Promoted Fangirl: When she got cast as an extra on Mad Men, she was apparently so excited that the people who cast her felt the need to remind her that she was just an extra.
- Talking To Herself: She usually voices many characters in her works, who also usually interact with each other.
- Type Casting/Pigeonholed Voice Actor: Even Grey herself notices that she voices a lot of Jerkasses and villains.
- Woman Of A Thousand Voices: Grey certainly has a large vocal range. She can go from a nice, sweet kid, to an evil villainess in quite a short amount of time.
- Relationship Voice Actor: She and her good friend Tara Strong usually appear together in many shows.
- Vocal Evolution: Her standard boy voice has certainly improved from Chad in 2002, to Buzz in 2006.
