Unlike most works, Twitch Plays Pokémon heavily relies on memes and Ascended Fanon. The emergence of them has convinced many that this is not a merely crazy social experiment but an entire mythological story.

  • ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ VICTORY RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ ^Explanation Spammed in the chat whenever they beat a game.
  • ヽ༼ຈل͜ರೃ༽ﾉ Civil disobedience ヽ༼ຈل͜ರೃ༽ﾉ ^Explanation A "fancy" version of the typical riot, this is often paired with requests to do something, such as "Gentlemen, we must challenge the young woman specializing in Water-types known as Miss Misty to a friendly battle with our Pocket Monsters and defeat her or we shall engage in civil disobedience".
  • BibleThump CRYOT BibleThump ^Explanation  Spammed into the chat whenever something sad happens or emotional music plays, such as "Emotion" from Black/White. BibleThump is a twitch emote of Isaac's crying face from The Binding of Isaac. Notable Cryots include memory links, AZ's backstory, Lusamine's "death" and the Looker Bureau missions.
  • ♪ └༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┐♫ DANCE RIOT ♪ └༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┐♫ ^Explanation Whenever a particularly epic song starts playing, expect to see the chat get down.
  • ♫ ┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┘ ♪ GIVE ME WHAT I NEEEEED ♫ ┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┘ ♪ ^Explanation A special dance riot triggered by a specific BGM, namely Elesa's third Gym theme.
  • tppRiot / panicBasket ^Explanation The original RIOT meme is rarely used nowadays due to requiring inconvenient copying and pasting; in its place people use the panicBasket emote or the subscribers-only tppRiot emote, both of which have the same meaning.
• "GUYS WE NEED TO X Y" ^Explanation  Call Wade, call Joey, milk Whitney, milk Wade, Mount Silver, milk Flannery, milk the Rollout guy... If there's a character, Pokémon, or even an object, you can bet that there's at least SOMETHING the chat needs to do to it.
  • "GUYS WE NEED TO BEAT MISTY" As well as... other things they need to do to Misty.^Explanation The first example. According to some Redditors: "We HAVE actually beaten her. This "joke" has spread is due to the fact that were trapped in Pallet Town earlier, as if we had only just started the game and we needed to take on the second Gym Leader again." (Source) As for the perpetuation of this phrase in the chat: "The spam scripts (sic) default message is "GUYS WE NEED TO BEAT MISTY". Whenever someone first runs the script, that gets spammed into the chat. Now, why people talked about Misty is because of trolls, but it's being perpetuated because of the scripts."(Source)
  • "GUYS WE NEED TO MILK WHITNEY" ^Explanation A stream catchphrase mutating from the running gag of "GUYS WE NEED TO BEAT MISTY" from Twitch Plays Pokémon Red. Later it was found out that this gag was a vital hint. [1]
• IT'S A SHINY! CATCH IT! ^Explanation  A phrase used by trolls; like, when they see a Sentret, they say it's a shiny Rattata, or when there's a Rhyhorn, they say it's a shiny Rhydon. This applies to pretty much any Pokémon, regardless of whether or not it resembles a shiny. Likewise, actual shiny Pokémon (such as Gyarados, Chinchou and Pikachu) are sometimes called ordinarily-coloured Pokémon.
• "X KILLED THIS RUN" ^Explanation  What started as a complaint about how Democracy and Feraligatr's invincibility supposedly killed interest in the runthrough quickly turned to parodies of the phrase, for example "SNAPE KILLED THIS RUN" or "THE RUN KILLED THIS RUN".
• LEVEL X HYPE ^Explanation  The Mob's stock reaction to levelling up.
  • [anything] HYPE ^Explanation  The Mob often gets excited over decent moves, items, etc.
• "X confirmed for Smash Bros." ^Explanation Two Pokémon fighters were revealed for Super Smash Bros 4, Charizard and Greninja. Thus the chat likes to joke about another Pokémon joining in, or that the SSB Charizard is Red's Abby.
• CHEATER SwiftRage / CHEATING BabyRage ^Explanation Used whenever an opposing trainer uses a healing item or an opposing Pokemon uses a healing move. In later runs, this is used whenever chat uses a healing item themselves.
• This is teh urn! ^Explanation A mispelling of "This is the run", referring to the current attempt on the Elite Four. Now used when trying pretty much anything difficult.
• ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ raise your dongers ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉetc. ^Explanation The Raise Your Dongers meme has moved here, with many variations appearing in chat.
  • Hey my name is Henry Dongerman I lost my pet donger. Here's a picture of him [ᕙ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ] if you can help find him I would be eternally grateful he means the world to me. Mr Mittens is his name if it helps share this around and pray to lord donger to help find him. His favourite song is ᕙ༼ຈلຈ༽ᕗ HARDER BETTER FASTER DONGER ᕙ༼ຈلຈ༽ᕗ so try playing that he may come. ^Explanation  A donger-based way of chat spamming. This often encourages people to try finding this non-existant Mr. Mittens. This meme is so spammed in the chat, that there's another counter to it, which is that Mr. Mittens lost his owner. Has long since been banned, and typing this in will result in you being banned for copypasta.
  • I like to raise my Donger I do it all the time ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ and every time its lowered┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┐ I cry and start to whine ┌༼@ل͜@༽┐But never need to worry ༼ ºل͟º༽ my Donger's staying strong ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉA Donger saved is a Donger earned so sing the Donger song! ᕦ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ᕤ ^Explanation  A common chat spam, like a lot of donger memes and phrases. Like the above, it is now banned, and will get you banned for copypasta should you type in.
  • ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ LET IT DONG, LET IT DOOONG, CANT RIOT BACK ANYMORE, LET IT DOOONG, LET IT DOOOOOONG, THAT PERFECT DONGER IS GONE, I DONT CARE, THAT MY DONGERS GONE, RIOT PLZ LET DONG RAGE ON, THE RIOT NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ ^Explanation  A donger version of the chorus from "Let It Go" from the Disney movie Frozen. Like the other's, it's long since been banned on the stream, and typing it in result in an auto ban.
    • ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ LET IT DONG, LET IT DONG, COULDN'T RIOT BACK ANYMORE. LET IT DONG, LET IT DONG, LET'S GET BACK TO THE LORE, I DON'T CARE THAT THE DONGERS WERE GONE, LET THE DONGS RAGE ON, THE RIOT NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY. ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ ^Expanation  An alternative version, used when dongers were unbanned. Like the rest of these, this is banned too, and you'll get auto-banned should you type it in the chat.
• DatSheffy Hello, my name is Juan Pastaroni. CEO of Copypasta Industries. This is a notification to let all of you know that we have bought a majority of the copyrights to the copypasta seen in this chat. Do not use any of the copypasta or risk being fined 5000 dongers. This is serious business, kid. DatSheffy ^Explanation  Self-explanatory: a copypasta talking about copypastas. Thanks to this, the DatSheffy was chosen by Deku when editing his bot to ban people for spamming long messages repeatedly while displaying a message.
• DatSheffy no pasta ^Explanation  The message given by Deku's bot when a big message is spammed in the chat. Cue DatSheffy spam whenever this happens. The Mob also protests against this bot by typing "DatSheffy no pasta no fun" or other things like it.
  • The chat will also often post this when someone posts about the food group.
• "X is best Y" ^Explanation  The Mob tends to make various statements about a character being the best of a category. Popular variations are: "X is best pony" & "X is best waifu <3"
• "False X/Fake X" ^Explanation  Whenever an enemy trainer sends out a Pokémon of the same species as one they've used, the Mob tends to refer to it as a "fake" version of their Pokémon.
• Kappa ^Explanation  A Twitch emote resembling a smug gray face that denotes sarcasm.
• AERIAL ACE Kreygasm ^Explanation Spammed into the chat when the TM for Aerial Ace was first obtained, and from then on, spammed whenever the TM for ANY move (or any item at all) is obtained. From the Platinum run onward, any time the actual TM for Aerial Ace is found, the chat erupts with "AERIAL ACE Kreygasm", "Kreygasm" being the emote on Twitch for... just guess.
• JOOOOOORRRRRSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNN SwiftRage^Explanation Jorsun was a troll infamous for cancelling evolutions, especially in TPP FireRed and Platinum. Every time an evolution was cancelled (or anything at all went wrong), people spammed "JORRRRRRSUUUUUNNNN" in the chat, regardless of whether or not Jorsun was actually responsible, and even in TPP Black 2 where evolution cancelling is impossible.
  • GUUUUUUMBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLL SwiftRage ^Explanation During a PBR "trap match" where Minun was supposed to beat Groudon with Grass Knot, a single player named Gumball 093 was on Thunder, making the votes 99% Grass Knot, 1% Thunder. The RNG chose Thunder, throwing the match. The chat was not very happy with Gumball. It's now to the point people consider him the "JOOOOOOOOORSUUUUUUUUUUN!!!" of PBR / Arena battles, shouting his name whenever the RNG picks a low percent move in an arena battle that costs the match.
• RIP X/Bye X ^Explanation When a user gets temporarily banned and their comment deleted.
• Pioxys x Starmie OTP ^Explanation While Twitch Plays Pokémon was playing Pokémon Stadium 2, a prominent community member named Pioxys once bet all of his money on a Starmie for no particular reason. The Starmie lost, and someone inputted "Pioxys x Starmie OTP" in the chat, after which the entire chat was spamming it. To this day, Pioxys has never entirely lived it down.
• Jinkies! NotATK ^Explanation NotATK is an emote which people in the chat claim to resemble the character Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo cartoon. It's generally used randomly or when something surprising happens, although not in the same situations where "[anything] HYPE PogChamp" can be used.
  • Jeepers! PicoMause ^Explanation  Daphne's catchphrase, along with the emote used to represent her.
  • ZOINKS! YouWHY ^Explanation  And Shaggy's.
  • Ruh-roh! RalpherZ ^Explanation  And Scooby's. LilZ, a FrankerFaceZ emote, is used for Scrappy Doo.
  • Let's split up and search for clues! CougarHunt ^Explanation  As Fred doesn't have a catchphrase of his own, this is rarely used, although CougarHunt is used along with the other emotes when someone tries to make a ridiculous code that somehow would result in all five emotes appearing on the chat (the most frequent one being Meddling Kids without spaces).
• CLUTCH ^xplanation When a Pokémon survives an attack by a small amount of health.
  • CLUTCH SAVE/TACTICAL SAVE/ SAVED KappaRoss ^Explanation Pretty much every time they save the game. Usually sarcastic because saving doesn't actually matter, thanks to emulator savestates and the game running continuously. But saving actually did matter for Red Anniversary because the savestates weren't working and glitches/crashes forced the streamer to load the last save many times.
• SMOGON STRATS ^Explanation Whenever a Pokémon uses a move, ability, item or strategy usually performed in competitive play, people will exclaim that they used "Smogon strats". Also used sarcastically when a Pokémon does something stupid.
• Twitch Plays X ^Explanation The Mob's various predictions on what they'll play during intermission or after all mainline Pokemon games are finished, some of them very bizarre.
• WE DID IT X ^Explanation Said whenever a goal is accomplished (such as defeating a gym leader), with X usually being Reddit or YouTube. Taken to ridiculous levels after Valerie was defeated in Pokémon X (as well as after defeating Master Hand for the first time in the pre-OR/AS-demo Smash intermission), where people spammed "WE DID IT [any name that they could think of]".
• Kappa = Gray Face (no space) ^Explanation Twitch has a collection of bizarre emoticons you can use in chat by typing secret phrases, like "BibleThump" or "Kappa". TPP players frequently try to trick people into trying an incorrect emoticon phrase. Others will often play along by saying it "works." The most common such prank is claiming "GrayFace" or "GreyFace" produces the "Kappa" face. Eventually people stopped falling for it, but the meme persisted, and the fake key-phrases got more and more ridiculous.
  • Kappa = / me (no space) ^Explanation Any message starting with "/me" in the TPP chat gets the sender banned for some time, which can range from a few minutes to permanently.
  • Kappa // = Kla ppa (no space) ^Explanation The two slashes after the Kappa emote make it look like it's clapping.
• "X" is safe this gen! ^Explanation Often used sarcastically or by trolls for something that really isn't safe the current gen they're playing, with the PC being the most common target.
• X solo run Kappa ^Explanation Whenever a PC shuffle leaves only 1 decent Pokémon in the party. Mostly sarcasm, since solo runs aren't usually possible in Pokémon games, because of required HMs (Krabby/Kingler could do it in gen 1, but you can't get one until halfway through the game, so you'd have to trade it in). On the other hand, many rounds of TPP were mostly carried by a single overleveled Pokémon, and a botched PC trip is often how they end up in that situation.
• Spoopy music! WutFace / 2spoopy4me ^Explanation For some reason, the Mob decided that Lavender Town's music is "spoopy" (spooky). Most other spooky or ghost-y things are also described as "spoopy."
  • 3spoopy5me ^Explanation An obvious mistyping of "2spoopy4me" that has since replaced the original as the most common response to something "spoopy". Other iterations are possible as well.
• Is TPP still a thing? Kappa ^Explanation A recurring joke that started when people who returned to the channel after a long time of absence asked if TPP was still online after all this time. Now used sarcastically.
  • Is "Is TPP still a thing?" still a thing? Kappa ^Explanation Like the above, but this time referring to people asking about TPP still being a "thing" instead of asking about the stream itself. People sometimes extend the message even more ("Is "Is "Is TPP still a thing?" still a thing?" still a thing?" and so on), although extending it too much will result in a ban from Deku's bot.
• I like Chatot. BibleThump ^Explanation Any messages that contain both "like" and "Chatot" cause the sender to be timed-out. Much like Milf before it, people often say it to deliberately get banned, try to say it without getting banned, and try to get other people to say it.
  • Revo loves Chatot. ^Explanation Chatot used to be one of ProjectRevolutionTPP's favorite Pokémon. However, around early 2015, he began to despise Chatot. This is a source of amusement for the fandom, who love to insinuate that Revo loves Chatot despite his often irate claims to the contrary.
• deIlluminati SELECT SECT deIlluminati ^Explanation Started during the PBR intermissions when a complete democracy playthrough of Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal, but soon expanded into other runs, a small portion of the TPP chat has decided to "dedicate" themselves to the Select button, since it normally does nothing if nothing is registered to it, other than slow down progress. Even when not in Democracy, expect to see several selects on the input screen on most runs.
  • CONVIENT BUTTON ^Explanation Before registering any item to the Select Button, the message displayed in Vietnamese Crystal is "PROP CAN BE LOG ON BY PRESSING CONVIENT BUTTON". As such, this message was common in the earlier part of the run, until the chat got the Bicycle.
    • WORDS OF OQT ^Explanation As well, since the Bike cannot be used indoors, pushing Select would print the standard message that the item cannot be used: "WORDS OF OQT! THIS MAY BE USEFUL SOMETIME" Seeing this message became common later on. Yet, in character, Select Sect may have sometimes avoided making input when it WOULD be useful.
  • PROGRESS CONGRESS ^Explanation The "cult" which serves to counter the Select Sect, focusing solely on progress rather than a single button.
  • START CART / A FRAY / KNIGHTS OF THE RIGHTS / DOWN TOWN / UP CUP / CLEFT OF LEFT / Lazy Legion OSsloth ^Explanation The names of the other "cults". The B button's "cult" has no name, as the Mob couldn't find any words that rhymed with it. "B BRIGADE" is often used instead. There's also a lot of dispute between "START CART" and "START MART". Later, the "Lazy Legion" emerged dedicated to inputting L for convenience of being rewarded with a token/s.
• "Aw, snap! Kappa" / "ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ AW SNAP ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ" (as well as other Aw, Snap! related comments) ^Explanation Whenever a game freezes, an "Aw, Snap!" screen usually pops up, hinting the Streamer uses Google Chrome. Naturally, the Mob reacts accordingly when this happens.
• R-R-R-REMIX WutFace ^Explanation  The music of the stream tends to mess up occasionally, usually in the form of a Repetitive Audio Glitch. The Mob will post a variation containing the word "Remix" in response to the glitch.
• bastart ^Explanation Bastart is a somewhat popular command that shows up during democracy mode. It is essentially the word "bastard" in input-able command form.
  • SELECTBRA ^Explanation A command that's sometimes possible depending on what input system is used, usually interpreted to have something to do with Kadabra or bras. It gets interpreted by the stream as "Select+B".
    • B-cup/B-cup Boobs ^Explanation  After discovering during X that directions on the circle pad were accessed by "c+direction", "B+Cup" became a valid command. Randomized Alpha Sapphire extended it by adding 80,085 (which taps the touchscreen at coordinates 80,85) to the string of commands.
  • Homer ^Explanation When actually playing on a 3DS instead of an emulator, the Home button became input-enabled, so home+r became a valid input.
  • Homestart ^Explanation  Similar to the above, with home+start. This was probably referencing the return of Homestar Runner.
  • WAIT4BABA ^Explanation When democracy was switched on during Anniversary Red, they were stuck on Seafoam Islands. Commands were entered in combination of wait4, B, A, B, A. Baba is the name of the Magikarp from Mt. Moon's Poké Center, who was released. Has since mutated further with the chat managing to name the main heroine of Vietnamese Crystal BABA as well, to the point some claim "BABA" is the new Helix.
• X SOLO RUN OR RIOT ^Explanation  The Mob trying either have one species of Pokémon dominate the party or create an overpowered Crutch Character again.
• DELELELELELE WHOOOOOOOOOOP ^Explanation Though this is a general Pokémon meme, the Mob went ballistic upon first hearing Kricketune's cry, and began quickly spamming it in chat. Now spammed whenever Kricketune's cry plays.
• Crit mattered Kappa ^Explanation Often spammed when someone gets a critical hit, usually sarcastically because a regular hit would have KO'd the target anyway. A member of the Mob is actually named CritMattered, so messages are usually sent to him as well.
• Ledges. Fear ledges. ^Explanation When playing in Anarchy mode on certain routes, a single Down command would cause Red to jump over the Insurmountable Waist-High Fence he was passing and cause the rest of the Mob to navigate him all the way round again. Rose to prominence when a single ledge in Route 9 consumed almost a day's worth of progress.
• Wow Deku OneHand ^Explanation Often used in regards to some of Deku's actions, especially if it's something hypocritical, like banning someone for something he was guilty of in the past, or even if he just appears in the chat. Mostly though, it's linked to...
  • Deku's Blaziken ^Explanation In what was supposed to be a private conversation, somehow, the fact that Deku linked Rule 34 of a Blaziken got out to the chat. Naturally, it's now a fact that the chat refuses to let Deku live it down, especially considering that the Blaziken that pops up in PBR battles is female.
  • OneHand "Hello, this is your stream manager Deku. I have just dropped by to say..." OneHand ^Explanation Started as joke where people pretended to be Deku and say the shiny select rate for Arena had been decreased even further, when a single shiny had yet to have been picked for a match at this point, it has since moved on to people pretending to be Deku to either deny something the Mob has been requesting, or has done something in the complete opposite direction of what they were requesting, such as making shinies even rarer in Arena. Some people mix this with the emote's name by saying that the reason for the reduction of the shiny select rate was that a shiny Pokémon ate one of Deku's hands.
• BIDOOF BIDOOF BIDOOF WutFace ^Explanation The Mob's onomatopoeia for the sound played when one of the Pokémon is at low health. (It's the name of a less-than-popular 'mon from gen 4.)
• SUB HYPE PogChamp ^Explanation Whenever there's an announcement that someone subscribed, or has subscribed for X months in-a-row, the Mob gets quite excited. The music playing in the background whenever this happens only helps.
  • HUB SYPE / BUG TYPE / USB DRIVE / BUS DRIVER PogChamp ^Explanation Other messages spammed when someone subscribes. A version number usually comes together with the "USB DRIVE" (such as "USB DRIVE 3.0" for someone who subscribed for three months in-a-row).
  • SUBHUMAN HYPE PogChamp ^Explanation The Streamer called the person in charge of managing PBR music "subhuman" due to letting sad result songs get in, when, actually, most of those songs didn't even go through him. The chat now makes fun of this by also spamming this whenever someone subscribes (and also calling Subscribers-only Mode "Subhuman Mode").
• This is not a favorable Machop. ^Explanation Yet another PBR announcer mishearing, as he often says "Hit, but this is not a favorable matchup!" when a not-very-effective move connects, that doubles as a reference to Alice's starter, a Machop with the worst ability in the game, Truant.
• L *Insert Twitch Emote here* R E ^Explanation Used, often sarcastically, at the sub Reddit's attempts to make lore for everything on the stream, whether it makes sense or not. Often spammed whenever something unusual or note worthy happens, since those events usually end up being the most 'lore-worthy'.
• [Pokémon's name] spelled backwards is [something] ^Explanation Ekans and Arbok spelled backwards are Snake and Kobra, respectively. Muk backwards is... well. Jokes about Pokémon names spelled backwards are common in the chat; usually the reversed spelling will be obviously wrong, i.e. "Ekans spelled backwards is Cobra."
• #Nuke*Insert whatever here* ^Explanation The chat's way of, sometimes jokingly, showing displeasure for something. Usually involves regions, but not always. Sometimes extends to "#NukeNukes
  • #Love*Insert whatever here* ^Explanation The chat's way of showing love for something, usually in retaliation to the above.
• Entei... TriHard ^Explanation A further mutation of Entei's Memetic Loser status in Twitch Plays Pokémon: Arena. Whenever something on the stream starts doing abysmally, expect TriHard emotes to quickly ensue, even in normal runs.
• Run going by too fast? Better kill our Pokémon. Kappa ^Explanation A mutation of the "Better nerf Greninja" Meme from Smash Bros., lot of the Gen VI games tend to go by really quick on the stream due to the fact that certain things like the EXP. Share and better balanced Pokémon tend to make things easier on the Mob. Ever since X, though, all the gen VI games have had the entire main team released at least once, which has caused people to start believe that people are intentionally doing it to slow the runs down. As a result, the following joke ensued.
• C PogChamp A PogChamp T PogChamp C PogChamp H ^Explanation Originally a way to get people's attention when a Mob member really wanted a certain Pokémon to be caught, using the PogChamp emote between the letters of "CATCH", it eventually further mutated into other words using different emotes, though "CATCH" is still the most popular.
  • K PogChamp I PogChamp L PogChamp L ^Explanation This one pops up from time to time usually while grinding. But sometimes its used WHENEVER the Mob encounters something.
• No Emote / No Message DansGame ^Explanation An update allowed donators to make a short message and pair of vibrating Twitch emotes appear on the stream. Usually the chat will spam the emote and/or reaction to the message, but sometimes donators don't use an emote and/or message, so the chat spams its dissatisfaction.
• PLAYSTATION ^Explanation The Poisoned status was abbreviated PSN, prior to being spelled out in Generation VI. Consequently the chat makes the many obvious references to the PlayStation Network online service.
• #WutFact WutFace ^Explanation A misspelling of the WutFace emote, the chat eventually ran with it by quoting disturbing Pokedéx entries or saying something creepy.
• #RememberWhenAsh... ^Explanation A meme that tends to cycle with the chat where quotes sarcastic facts such as "Remember when Ash won a league?" to glaringly idiotic stuff Ash has done like "send his Grass-type against a Flying-type legendary" to just plain weird stuff he's done over his adventure like "got to first base with a Latias before an actual human".

Once Pokémon XD was announced for TPP, people quickly started calling the run "Pokémon MingLee", due to the emote's resemblance to the "xD" emote. "xD MingLee" is said in chat whenever something goes wrong, like someone canceling an evolution or they failing to complete a puzzle. Also mentioned to be written as Meme Lee without spaces frequently.
• CANCER WutFace ^Explanation Several infamous matches throughout Pokemon Battle Revolution intermissions were matches involving Pokemon with Stall movesets. After an infamous match that took over an hour long to finish by Time Over, the Mob now unanimously hates any Pokemon that has a Stall moveset or has a reputation for Stall tactics in competitive play. Any time a Stall Pokemon appears, this is their usual response.
• NO NAME DansGame / NO NICKNAME DansGame ^Explanation Giving nicknames to Pokémon is often considered to enhance the experience (especially due to the chat's tendency to give unintelligible and hilarious nicknames to Pokémon), so the chat tends to get annoyed whenever a Pokémon is given their default name.
• OLDEN WutFace ^Explanation  As already listed under Crystal Anniversary, OLDEN has become the go-to explanation for any form of glitchiness that happens in any game the chat plays from now on. It's also a stock reaction to encountering a Ledyba or Ledian or seeing the word "olden" in an NPC's text.
• Day crew / night crew ^Explanation  Used to label the general differences that happen between day and night, with the "day crew" usually considered to consist of trolls and people who want to do everything but progress, and the "night crew" usually considered the ones who get anything remotely done on the stream.
• African Water TriHard ^Explanation  Spammed whenever the the move Muddy Water is used, referring to the poor quality of water in Africa
  • Rio/Olympic Water TriHard ^Explanation  A variation on the above, after news was broken that many venues hosting the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro have heavily polluted water
• Naughty url OneHand ^Explanation  Whenever someone posts a NSFW link, Deku's bot would time them out. Hilariously, sometimes the bot would ban a completely innocent link due to it containing blacklisted words (For example, typing in kitchentaiwan.com would cause a timeout.) Many users would post fake URLs containing the blacklisted words in order to time themselves out.
• Greed TriHard ^Explanation Pops up whenever a Pokemon uses a stat-boosting move too many times, and ironically loses all its HP while attempting to boost its strength. (Usually this isn't really caused by "greed," but instead by poor AI and/or input lag.)
• Donald Trump Card WutFace ^Explanation  Spammed whenever the move Trump Card is used, for obvious reasons.
• Serena Grace! VoHiYo ^Explanation Serena is one of Melia_antiqua's favorite Pokémon characters, so they would often say "Serena Grace! VoHiYo" whenever a Pokémon with the Serene Grace ability was in battle. Other people followed suit.
• Cheerful Sloths OSsloth ^Explanation Cheerful Slots, a slot machine activated after Bits were Cheered. Chat began frequently spamming the sloth emote when one occurs.
  • As the slots would reward prizes to the stream, chat would give expected reactions, such as #Rigged DansGame , #NeverLucky BabyRage and the #Who reactions from runs.
• #_Worl ^Explanation  Started in Sun as Didney Worl, because they kept ending up in the Wifi Plaza with just a specific input. Continued into Ultra Moon and Sword, where it changes to whatever menu world the mob is currently trapped in. #Camp Worl was the most common in Sword, as sometimes all it takes is an X and an A imput to become trapped there for some time.

Pokémon Chatty Yellow

• Twitch Plays Something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ^Explanation  The 3rd anniversary game has yet to be reveal by the streamer, yet the community was asked to advertise and raise some hype to bring in new viewers... This lead to a lot of confusion, up to the point where a user posted a "run poster" with the ASCII figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ on it.
• oh no! ^Explanation One of the gimmicks of this run involved replacing dialogue with random mutterings taken from bits and pieces of things said in the chat. While traveling through Mt. Moon, this mechanism was bugged, causing a disproportionate amount of the dialogue to become "oh no!"
• Enemy DITTO used ROOST! ^Explanation  A Ditto used Transform to turn into Chatot, and the next turn it decided to use Roost at full HP. The end result was that the message "Enemy DITTO used ROOST!" started looping and softlocked the game.
• Diglet Worl Jebaited ^Explanation  On day 4 of the run, the chat had grinded for an excruciating number of hours in Diglett's Cave causing most of chat to become stuck in a delirious state of spamming messages about their suffering attached with the Jebaited emote. #Diglet Worl trended once they no longer needed to stay there, this being a mutation of the Didney Worl meme from the Gen 7 Pokémon games they had played previous to this run.
• [Random Twitch username] wants to fight! ^Explanation  All trainer names, except for the rival names, are picked from the chat leading to some hilarious implications, examples below.
  • Cut z33k33's Bush ^Explanation  The Gym leader Erika's name was replaced with z33k33, a prominent member of chat, leading to the chat altering the original "We need to cut Erika's bush" meme with z33k33's name in place of Erika's.
  • @Username PogChamp ^Explanation  The chat loves to ping/message whoever gets picked for the trainer name.

Pokémon Blazed Glazed

• BegWan Bagon ^Explanation During the hours searching for a wild Bagon in Mt Stratus, chat decided to spam this emote as a signal whenever Bagon appeared. Towards the end of the search, people got frustrated and started spamming Beg Wan in an attempt to summon Bagon. Shortly after these attempts began, wild Bagon began appearing in quick succession, with one being successfully captured.
• More buals? ^Explanation During Day 11 of the run, a glitch in the game script caused Kurt to give away a Premier Ball every time he was talked to. Cue the chat talking to him over and over for two hours, getting another Premier Ball every time, until they had over a thousand. Every hundred threshold cleared prompted the question to know if they still needed "more buals".
• #who ^Explanation The chat's annoyance at unknown chat lurkers getting badges of caught Pokémon persists.
  • Not a #who ^Explanation The regular chorus whenever a well-known chat member gets a badge.

Pokémon Randomized White 2

• Final Gambit/KAPOW Mudkip ^Explanation The starter Pokémon ended up being a mudkip with Final Gambit, leading to the first hour being pretty much the chat blacking out to wild mons.
• Team Guys ^Explanation The team plasma grunt trainer class was swapped with the guy trainer class, leading to people thinking Plasma had to just hire regular people and dressing them up as ninjas.
• #Brunova TriHard ^Explanation  The elite four was randomized into normal, Fighting, Rock and ice type. 3 of these types have been used by Bruno in the past, so the chat made the connection between unova and Bruno.

Season 5

Dual Red & Blue

• #SpoonDig ^Explanation Alakazam from the Dual Blue team learned Dig, and, as usual for TPP, used it at very inconvenient times. Jokes were made about how it performed the move by using its spoons to dig a hole.
• EFGH ^Explanation Early in the run, Dual Blue glitched and the sprtie of its protagonist was replaced by a square spelling "EFGH". Like other glitches displaying broken text before it, it was perceived by players as an eldritch entity in the same vein as OLDEN and Ï ËdBLÁü.
• King DigDigDig ^Explanation A nickname of DDDDDDDDDD, the Dugtrio of the Dual Red team, referencing King Dedede from the Kirby series.

Storm Silver

• Second BEST ^Explanation Cyndaquil was chosen as the run's starter; the chat dubbed it "Second BEST", as its nickname was "222", and it was the second time they had chosen Cyndaquil, the first being BEST from Twitch Plays Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal.
• Second Cat ^Explanation Glameow ended up nicknamed "222 ♀- s", a name very similar to "222" the Cyndaquil. As a result, it was dubbed "Second Cat", derived from the latter's nickname of "Second BEST".
• Stinky Cat ^Explanation While looking for a Glameow in Sprout Tower, the last slot of the party ended up filled by a Stunky instead. The chat proceeded to sarcastically refer to it as a "Stinky Cat".
• Rusty Cat ^Explanation After defeating Jasmine, Glameow was "accidentally" traded to her for her Steelix, named "Rusty". As the "Second Cat" and "Stinky Cat" jokes had taken off by then, said Steelix earned the nickname of "Rusty Cat", despite looking absolutely nothing like one. Some of the lore even considered it to be Second Cat wearing a suit of armor.

• Winnie the Chu ^Explanation A nickname given as a reference to Winnie the Pooh to //..Wnne;Pk the Pichu, who was often depicted in fanart with the trademark red shirt of its namesake. Especially fitting considering one location of the game is Acre Forest, echoing the book's Hundred Acre Wood.
• Shut up Zack ^Explanation Zack is to Bronze what Joey is to Crystal, being a Youngster who gives out his phone number to the player and calls them on a regular basis. However, whereas the chat is extremely fond of "Joey-senpai", they are quickly fed up with Zack constant calls.

Randomized Y

• IT'S BEEN FIVE MINUTES ^Explanation AZ still comments on how "It's been 3000 years" since he last saw his Floette, despite Eternal Floette having been part of his team during the fight that took place right beforehand. The chat was quick to point out and make fun of the balatant contradiction.

Flora Sky

• #KeepShayminCute ^Explanation In Flora Sky, Sky Form Shaymin is treated as a permanent evolution of Land Form Shaymin. As a result, this variant of the #KeepShinxCute meme from Platinum appeared in the chat, to encourage players to keep Acccddd unevolved. It ultimately failed.
• KAPOW DRAGON ^Explanation NODEEWe9 the Garchomp was taught Explosion, which in the hands of TPP basically made it prone to self-destruct at any given time, earning it this nickname.

Season 6

Burning Red

• Meloetta's cry ^Explanation Early in the run, one user used Noisemaker items to make Meloetta's cry play on stream for over 20 minutes straight, which quickly drove the chat insane.
  • Aromatisse's cry ^Explanation As the Meloetta noisemakers seemed to calm down, another user started spamming Aromatisse noisemakers instead.
• It's like an encyclopedia except the pages are blank^Explanation Kay repeatedly looked at the Pokédex in Oak's lab, triggering this line each time. The chat repeated it, often either mixing up the words or replacing "blank" by other words ("noisemakers", (rats", etc.).
• Jackass ^Explanation A nickname given to JJKSS, a Rattata caught early in the run who later evolved into a Ratticate and made it to the Hall of Fame.
• Rat King ^Explanation A title used by the chat to describe either KAY, who early in the run filled his team with no less than four different Rattata, or JJKSS "Jackass", the only one of said Rattata to evolve and earn a permanent spot on the team.

• POKÉMON STARS CONFIRMED ^Explanation "Pokémon Stars" was the name of a rumoured third version for Pokémon Sun and Moon. The name selected for the protagonist of the run was "Stars", leading the chat to mockingly state that this was the game they were playing.
• Praise Elevator ^Explanation Like many other inanimate objects before it, the elevator in Professor Krane's laboratory received worship from the Voices, due to repeated "up" inputs leading Stars to ride it several times in a row each time he needed to use it.
• #Hashtag ^Explanation Lovrina's dialogue in this hack makes an (intentionally) excessive use of hashtags, which the chat mocked through the stream's own hashtag system.
• This item's use is forbidden in the Orre region ^Explanation A variety of items, usually ones that were not available in the original XD, displayed this message when an attempt was made to use them. Notably, several types of Berries appeared to be illegal in Orre.

Randomized Ultra Moon

• Hau ^Explanation An excessive amount of Trainers ended up either looking like Hau or being named "Hau" as a result of the randomization; characters randomized as Hau ended up becoming a Running Gag of the run as a result.
  • #HauWorl ^Explanation A snowclone of the #DidneyWorl meme from Gen VII runs, poiting out just how many people in the world of RUM seem to be Hau.
  • Hau are you? ^Explanation Players eventually started using sentences in which "Hau" replaced similar sounding syllables, with "Hau are you" being the most common.
• Cursed diary ^Explanation As a result of the randomized dialogue, Lillie mentioned a "cursed diary" on repeated occasions, making the chat freak out every time she did; especially as VRG went to Lillie's desk to read her journal soon after the latter first mentioned said diary.

• LSTICK ^Explanation A new input used to press the left stick, which in the game makes the protagonist whistle. It was unsurprisingly used and abused repeatedly.
• LSPINL ^Explanation Another new input used to perform a full rotation with the left stick. It was just as unsurprisingly repeatedly overused.
• Have you heard about Leon the undefeated champion and his undefeated Charizard? They're undefeated! ^Explanation Early on in the game, and all throughout, NPC would state these facts constantly. • $50 Mew ^Explanation Mew was transferred from the Poké Ball Plus accessory to the Sword team. Said accessory costs $50 and has little purpose beyond obtaining said Mew, especially to TPP who cannot use it as a controller.
• How did we get a Mew? ^Explanation A reference to a FireRed meme, used after the Stream Operator transferred Mew from the Poké Ball Plus accessory to make fun of players who were confused by its presence on the team.

  • Big Fucking Ground-type ^Explanation A variation on the above backronym, which started seeing use after Grotle evolved into Torterra.
• ELITE FISH ^Explanation A nickname given to a severely over-leveled Lumineon that unexpectedly managed to sweep the entirety of the Elite Four by itself, along with five of the Champion's six Pokémon.
• ELITE POOR ^Explanation A mocking nickname given to the Elite Four as it found itself completely unable to stop a single over-leveled Lumineon from sweeping every single one of their Pokémon.

Gauntlet Black 2

• WE PICKED GIRL ^Explanation The chat picked a male protagonist but named him ♀♀R, leading to many jokingly claiming that they had picked a female protagonist.
• Is that a Shiny? ^Explanation Several Pokémon in the party gained a special "star" entry animation by earning a strange ending in a Pokéstar movie, which caused some confusion among casual viewers due to how similar said animation looks to the one reserved for Shiny Pokémon. Not helping matters was the fact that ♀♀R did own a Shiny Porygon-Z, for which the Star animation overtook the Shiny animation, and a non-Shiny Landorus, a species which looks deceptively similar to its Shiny counterpart.

• Fucklet ^Explanation A nickname given to a Ducklet that received the unfortunate nickname of "dfuucck".

Sirius

• Hello, we got a problem, we can't finish the game because the boat is stuck at Dewfon and we don't have the second badge, is it possible to make something for putting us back please ? While the game actually handles this situation and moves the boat to prevent it, one user believed the claims and messaged the original streamer (who doesn't even take part in TPP anymore) witht his message, which quickly became a popular copypasta for the remainder of the run, along with plenty of similarly-themed variations on popular copypastas. Every variation carried on the "Dewfon" typo.
  • This boat is amazing; it conveys a lot of softlocks. After the Dewfon part in the middle, it sounds like you have no chance of getting the second badge, but then the game quickly recovers and you feel full of hope again. It keeps alternating between a softlock and progress. • Parahax / Freeze hax / Confusion hax / Sleep hax ^Explanation  Status conditions that prevent attacking are considered unfair, as if the enemy has hacked the game to win. Also a common meme in previous Stadium intermissions.

• There is no Lileep. ^Explanation  During the planning of the 6 Month Anniversary collaboration painting, the artists involved noticed that "upvote" often got changed to "uproot" by auto-correct, leading them to see the god Root as a fan of art who was guiding them. To show their devotion to their new god, they started hiding Lileep, roots, and Cradily in their art, which got posted on the subreddit. When a Root was spotted, they would respond to whoever saw it with "There is no Lileep". Eventually, they came clean on the subject, leading to a giant scavenger hunt with art going back weeks or even months coming into play!

• Negative betting ^Explanation Thanks to an oversight in the PBR betting coding, people could bet negative numbers◊, resulting in the odds system going nuts, and always ending in a tie. Needless to say, trolls loved abusing it to hold up the stream.
• The fog is deep... ^Explanation One of the colosseums in the game has a high chance to be covered in a fog, which lowers the accuracy of all moves, even those with one hundred percent. Needless to say, it quickly became a Scrappy Mechanic with the Mob as well as the only hope for the underdogs to win certain token matches.

Whether or not they were really his fault or not is up to debate, but several people started blaming him for the loses, while his supports fiercely defended him. Not long after, it become a meme to rather jokingly blame him for stuff, be it loses from RNG hax, early draws, or stream crashes.
• Never bet on Deoxys! ^Explanation Like his "father" before him, Deoxys is slowly turning into PBR's new Entei.
• POKÉMON IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! PogChamp ^Explanation Seismic Toss's animation involves throwing Pokémon into space. Needless to say, it became an instant hit with the chat. Made even funnier that Seismic Toss deals damage equal to the user's level, and, since every Pokémon in TPP's PBR is level 100, it will always deal 100 damage, often resulting in comments like "The Pokémon was thrown in space and took almost no damage?! DansGame ".
  • Guys, Seismic Toss is super-effective! OpieOP ^Explanation Since Seismic Toss always deals fixed damage, it makes no difference whether or not it's super-effective against the opposing Pokémon. Some people aren't aware of this and will use Seismic Toss against a foe weak to Fighting-type moves instead of a move that would actually deal more damage, resulting in other people saying this.
• Cancer / Ebola / [Other horrible disease] matches WutFace ^Explanation Often used to refer to matches that go on for an excruciatingly long time.
• Vaporeon VS Milotic ^Explanation Vaporeon and Milotic are infamous due to being major Stone Walls, and have movesets that are set for that. Naturally, trolls love donating to make them face each other, resulting in matches that rival Metapod VS Kakuna in terms of length.
  • BibleThump VAPOREON X MILOTIC NEW OTP BibleThump ^Explanation During a routine troll match featuring the two, they were the last two out, and the music that ended up playing was "Emotion" from Pokémon Black and White. Cue cryot, with lore quickly forming around the two being Star-Crossed Lovers who are forced to fight each other for the amusement of trolls.
• Metapod, Vaporeon, and Ditto VS Kakuna, Milotic, and Wobbuffet. ^Explanation A donation match that resulted in one of the most infamously longest matches in TPP history. To give you an idea, while Metapod and Kakuna usually lasts thirty minutes, this match lasted for a solid hour, hitting the match time limit for the first time in TPP history! This and some other ridiculously tedious matchups were eventually banned by the Streamer.
  • CANCER ^Explanation The Mob decided to call these types of matchups "Cancer Matches" because they hate stall tactics.
• I'll say it again - Nkekev is scum and no matter the good things he has done from the community he has proven to be the biggest cancer of it for months now ^Explanation Nkekev is another big name better in the community, who often also trolls by donating for match setups that go on for hours on ends. While he's certainly not the only one doing that, and arguably there are others who do it a LOT more than him, after several days of getting matches like that in a row, combined with one of his donations resulting in an especially long match, he quickly became the spear head for people who disliked this trend, with this phase being copy pasted repeatedly in the chat during said match.
• Trap matches ^Explanation A type of donation match where it seems like one team is obviously going to win at first glance, like a team full of legendaries, but the other team has something going for it like a set up or ability that assures victory. Usually used to get massive payouts for smarter betters.
  • Reverse trap match ^Explanation Used to refer to when a trap match goes horribly wrong through RNG, resulting in the trapped team winning, or when it seems like a trap match, but isn't.
• Game of Throws ^Explanation A pun on Game of Thrones, this is when both teams make bad move choices (intentionally or not) that might "throw" (lose) the match for their own team. Sometimes applies when one team makes ridiculously terrible choices, like repeatedly trying to use a move that has no effect.
• Communications with the Wii Remote have been interrupted. ^Explanation A bug that cropped up many times, halting the game until the streamer did a reset. Strangely, the game was on an emulator, so there was no Wii Remote to get disconnected from.

• KAPOW for honor / [team] has no honor ^Explanation Explosion and Self-Destruct are very popular moves. The chat will always try to use them if it makes even the slightest strategic sense, or to go out with a bang if their team was doomed anyway. The "KAPOW" emote gets spammed when they're hoping for an explosion, and even more when they actually explode. Failing to explode results in the chat lamenting the team's lack of "honor".
  • DISRESPECT ^Explanation Winning a match by defeating the opponent by using a very weak attack move (such as Poison Sting or Gust) when a stronger option was available. Perhaps considered disrespect as the input lag makes deliberately selecting moves without planning ahead difficult.
• Hey, this is an automated message from dekuNukem. I'm currently too busy being rekt by Animefan at Mario Kart to fix the lag on the stream. Please leave a ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ after the beep. ^Explanation During a routine PBR stream, the stream started lagging horrendously, and continued to do so for hours. • FRZ PogChamp / Will this ice ever melt?! / Let it go ^Explanation "Freeze hax" were somehow even more popular this time around, and people preemptively called FRZ every time any attack that might freeze was used (and sometimes even for ones that can't, like Aurora Beam). While a mon was frozen, or the match was stalled for any other reason, the announcer's narmy "Will this ice ever melt?!" would get spammed in chat. "Let it go" was a common variation, for obvious reasons.
• You get a token! And you get a token! Look under your seats! Everyone gets a token! ^Explanation One free "token" was given away to one of the voters in each round of Crystal inputs. (Tokens allowed you to choose matchups in PBR, if you had enough to outbid everyone else.) You could also buy tokens, one per dollar, by donating, and you could add tokens to the "pool" given away during the next input. At one point, just to see what would happen, some generous players donated for about 100 tokens and dumped them all into one input giveaway. Almost everyone in the chat got one or two; many references were made to Oprah and her tendency to give over-the-top gifts to her studio audience.

• KAPOW Aloha Snackbar KAPOW ^Explanation A mutation of "Allahu Akbar," the memetic phrase supposedly shouted by terrorists before they blow themselves up. Often spammed when Explosion or Self-Destruct is used.

However, due to winter, and by extension, ice, killing off bugs in real life, a vast portion of the chat seems to believe this is the case due to Logical Fallacies. Kappa ^Explanation Ever since it was implemented almost a few years ago now, shiny Pokémon have rarely been picked yet for a match, despite showing up in the roulette rather frequently. Naturally, people love to poke fun at this, from joking that shinies don't exist to saying the streamer decreased their probability of getting picked in PBR Platinum. One time a shiny was picked, it was a shiny Metagross with a very overpowered moveset[2]

The West Sea (pink and brown) form is normally seen, but when the East Sea form (blue and green) is picked, chatters will claim its a shiny, even though its normal (though each form does have its own shiny).
• FLAWLESS VICTORY! ^Explanation Whenever a team manages to win without losing a single Pokémon, expect this phrase to pop up in the chat shortly after.
• Cyndy ^Explanation The red trainer's card appeared at one point, revealing that his name is "Cyndy." This being kind of a Gender-Blender Name, he'll probably Never Live It Down.
• LAST MATCH ^Explanation There was no way to tell when intermission was going to start, so in the last few hours, pretty much every match was supposedly the last one, which makes people spend a lot of the "tokens" they get in the stream for dramatic purposes... only to find out that it still wasn't the last match.
• OpieOP RNG FAVORS OVER / UNDERDOGES OpieOP ^Explanation Whenever a particularly long winning streak for either the under or over dogs happens, or extreme crazy RNG turns around what should have been an easy win, people will often spam this in the chat, saying the team somehow got on RNGs favorable side.
• Twitch Plays PBR is amazing; it conveys a lot of emotions. After the throw part in the middle, it sounds like you have no chance of winning, but then the top better quickly recovers and you feel full of hope again. It keeps alternating between tragicness and epicness. Finally, everything goes downhill when RNG picks 1% Memento. ^Explanation  A variation of the "This song is amazing" copypasta that pretty much sums up Twitch Plays PBR in a nutshell.
• No more / more No More Heroes ^Explanation Started during a day when No More Heroes music kept getting selected and played for a vast majority of the day, and quickly divided a gap between the chat between those who loved and hated the music. Now it's use to troll with certain people bidding for it whenever someone requests a certain song to be play, or when people complain about No More Heroes music. (Note that all the songs from No More Heroes have the same basic, repetitive melody.)
• #RIPNintendoServers ^Explanation On the day when new DLC was announced for Smash 4, three new characters included, the Mob found out Nintendo's eShop had died within the first five seconds after the Nintendo Direct had ended. Naturally, they found it painfully hilarious, as many wanted to download the new DLC too.
• SO BRAVE BibleThump ^Explanation Whenever Brave Bird is used. It does a very large amount of recoil damage, so the crying face emote represents their Heroic Sacrifice. If a member of Zubat's line uses it, they're a "brave bat".
• DEMON ANNOUNCER / DEMON VOICE WutFace ^Explanation Whenever the emulator drops below 30FPS, the sound, and by extension the announcer, will distort because the game was not intended to drop below 30 on actual hardware. Moves that throw off alot of particles will very often cause the framerate to drop that low for a few seconds. Strangely, this distorted voice sounds almost exactly like the Voice of the Legion.
• DatSheffy Throw Police ^Explanation The DatSheffy emote looks sort of like a police officer, who shows up to "arrest" people for throwing matches.
• Cancer Cat ^Explanation More recently, Delcatty has had its moveset changed to have all non-attacking moves. The only way it can attack is by using Assist, which randomly chooses a move from the other Pokémon on it's team. If its teammates have poor attacking moves, it can end up taking a very long time to deal damage. This isn't that bad on it's own, but when paired with a Ditto or Mew opponent that's transformed, matches can last a very long time. Has also been used to hilarious effect with Pokémon on the team that can self-KO.
• [Something] Entei... TriHard ^Explanation Legendaries all have terrible movesets for the sake of balance, often making them unexpectedly weak. Entei was infamous for this in the old Stadium game, so other legendaries are treated like they're just variants of Entei; Raikou is "Yellow Entei," Articuno is "Flying Ice Entei," etc. Darkrai and Deoxys are especially infamous for this.
• LADY/LORD CHERRIM WutFace ^Explanation One day, the emulator froze when a female Cherrim, who was on the Blue team, with Spikes in effect, used Seed Bomb. PBR was frozen on that scene for about 6-7+ hours. Eventually, the match would timeout as a draw after 90 minutes. The stream would then proceed to ELF'S WORLD and then attempt to load another PBR match, only to return to the frozen scene with Cherrim. During the betting time the stream was able to change some of their favorite meme songs, including Unwavering Emotions, Pepsiman and DENNIS.
  • #CherrimsRevenge WutFace ^Explanation The very next day, the stream would break again for several hours. This time instead of a freeze it was a relatively common bug with the bot that selects all of the Pokémon the trainers use during the matches getting stuck. Not that this stopped anyone from concluding Cherrim to have returned.
• #JUMPEMPOLEON ^Explanation A nonsensical comment from a top bettor who in his match tried to use toxic on a steel type and sat on spikes after three layers were up as if it would layer on even more. Presumably, the comment was meant to be over trying to have Empoleon jump a Dig attack. Naturally, it became famous with the chat over n00b bettors who don't know the game mechanics.
• TouhouGirlz ^Explanation A user by this name likes to spam forced memes in the chat, such as #KarateChoppers. Even after she stopped, people will still bring it up. Comparisons to TerrierC have also occured.
• WutFace test passed/failed ^Explanation One of the reasons the Streamer picks PBR music is based on how much the WutFace emote is spammed when they pop up (or maybe it wasn't the Streamer's idea, but just the idea of who was in charge of music at the time). Naturally, the chat has a field day with it.
• WRONG DansGame ^Explanation Among the songs available as battle music are the themes of each colosseum from the original Pokémon Battle Revolution video game. Whenever one of these songs comes up and the stream picks a non-matching colosseum, the chat expresses its disgust. Much more rarely, when the stream does pick the matching colosseum, the chat reacts with "CORRECT PogChamp".
• AZ BORT ELF ^Explanation An extension of Vietnamese Crystal's ELF BORT meme used to refer to the Pokémon Azelf. Its fellow members in the legendary trio are often referred to as MES BORT PRIT and UX BORT IE.
• KappaPride ^Explanation An extension of the old Rainbow meme from Stadium 2, where a rainbow ring appears whenever a Pokémon successfully gets the stat boost of Ancient Power. PBR brought with it the moves Silver Wind and Ominous Wind, as well as the rainbow KappaPride emote, so people associated KappaPride with the stat boost from these moves.

Pokémon Battle Revolution Version 2. 0 Era

• X is going quite swell. ^Explanation  A meme that began on the Subreddit, when users made posts about various bugs accidentally found or intentionally created during testing of Anniversary Crystal. Later expanded to include any activity from waiting on PBR2.0 to progress in intermission games.
• betting not available right now ^Explanation  A meme that occured when the initial release of PBR 2.0 was acting strangely, and caused the players to wait for the actual game to start. The whisperbot than began spamming players with this message very rapidly, with some players reaching upwards of 100 messages in one hour.
• Match codenames BORT ^Explanation Token matches now have "codenames", which are random four letter "words" consisting of a random consonant, a random vowel, another random consonant, and another random vowel. The purpose is to enable easy bidding on existing matches to add to the total bid. Since the codenames often resemble the nonsensical names of "elfs" in Vietnamese Crystal, it's common for the chat to repeat these codenames along with the "BORT" emote.
• Hope and Memes / Hypes and Memes / Nopes and Screams^note "Hopes and Dreams" from Undertale's sound track tends to be a popular bid song. Naturally, people have come up with many snowclone phrases based on it, depending on the user's personal opinion of Undertale.
• I see my avatar!^note An interesting feature added to PBR, the background will now show user's avatars while selecting Pokemon. Naturally, people love trying to find their avatars in the background.
  • And then Twitch bans a sudden influx of users for NSFW avatars. Kappa ^note Naturally, people are already expecting this to be abused in the most obvious fashion. Sure enough, not long after the system was implemented, someone got banned from Twitch for just that.
• DBstyle 2 curs ethen x-scossir ^Explanation A quote from a newbie who attempted to lead the chat for a match, his suggestions were blatantly bad misplays that this has become a way to mock would be chat leaders, usually by listing blatantly suicidal moves the Pokemon have.
• THE ASSHOLE BabyRage ^Explanation An infamous mishearing of the unintelligible lyrics of the Yoshi's Story ending theme, with BabyRage appended to it because of how childlike the lyrics sound.
• Bot Badge DansGame ^Explanation Eventually chat members became able to trade badges won randomly from Pokemon Pinball. Shorly after, bots started to regularly win badges. This was much to the disappointment of chat, upset that bots were allowed to win badges as well as snipe badge offers.
• Normal match DansGame ^Explanation Special modifiers may be randomly applied to each battle, such as concealing one mon until the fight begins or giving every mon Selfdestruct/Explosion. A roulette bar at the top spins through a bunch of modifiers, but most of the squares are blank, indicating a "Normal" battle with no modifiers; chat tends to get annoyed when it lands on Normal (which happens more often than not), especially if it almost landed on something interesting.
• PRChase *frustrated quip* ^Explanation One of the special battle modifiers is Speed, which increases the speed of the match's animations. This makes it rather hard for the announcer to commentate on matches, so the chat likes to imagine the announcer expressing his annoyance whenever the roulette bar picks that match type.
• OSFrog REEEEEEEEEE ^Explanation In the intermission period between Pokémon Waning Moon and Season 4, live commentators were introduced. Somebody put OSFrog REEEEEEEEEE as a chat message, causing the announcer to burst into uncontrollable laughter for several minutes. Chat then proceeded to modify words containing RE, similar to how they modify words containing LY to LEE
• Skill money ^Explanation Used to sarcastically refer to money earned by a battle won with RNG.
• Focus Miss ^Explanation Used when a Pokémon misses Focus Blast, a Fighting-type move that does quite a lot of damage, but unfortunately, it has 70% accuracy, which is a very low hit chance for a common move that appears in many matches. There have been some variants as well, for other moves that may miss.
• Racc Attack ^Explanation An emote that shows the face of a raccoon. This emote has sparked a few memes in chat. It's also used to refer to Linoone.
  • he attacc/protecc/racc ^Explanation A meme of unknown origins (but probably based off the succ meme) that uses the Racc Attack emote.

Twitch Plays Super Smash Bros.

• BOWSER PogChamp Jr. DansGame ^Explanation Bowser generally has a great win rate, while his son... has a decidedly less great one. Naturally, with how the announcer still pronounces the Bowser part of his name exactly like his father's, many chat goers poke fun at it by pretending to be excited, only to then be disappointed. Bowser Jr. still managed to win two matches in-a-row, although that's thanks to RNG.
  • KAPOW SER ^Explanation Bowser's nickname, due to his high win rate. A combination of the KAPOW emote and the "-SER" part of his name, which are shown right next to each other due to how emotes are placed in messages.
• Oh, did I win? ^Explanation On the Smash betting mini-game playing during the run, Peach has a surprisingly high win rate despite generally being "meh" in the game. Naturally, her semi-trolltastic win quote quickly caught on with the chat and people who bet Peach.
  • #ImpeachPeach SwiftRage ^Explanation People who don't bet on Peach don't like when she wins.
  • Oh, did I lose? Kappa ^Explanation Peach was one of the several characters who were nerfed by the Streamer. The Mob didn't like it much.
• SwiftRage WHENEVER I DON'T GO X HE/SHE WINS, BUT WHEN I DO, HE/SHE BENDS OVER AND LETS EVERYONE SPANK HIM/HER OUT OF THE ARENA SwiftRage ^Explanation A copypasta expressing frustration at Smash's RNG, with "X" being any playable character. Sometimes, "EVERYONE" is replaced with the name of the character who won the battle, assuming that the character the person bet on got second place.
• [Character] is a TriHard . ^Explanation A lot of characters almost never win, like Duck Hunt, Palutena and Fox. People still bet on them despite the payout being exactly the same for all characters, unlike in PBR.
  • TriHard matchup. ^Explanation Spammed whenever four characters with very low win rates are chosen for a match.
  • #Losecario / #Loseina ^Explanation Lucario and Lucina were both characters with very high win rates, but started getting on a losing streak a few days into the game, because the Streamer nerfed them by reducing their CPU level. Funny because, even knowing about this, almost 100% of people who bet for Smash bet on them whenever they appear.
  • #TooFitForSmash ^Explanation Wii Fit Trainer's losing hashtag, which basically means that Wii Fit Trainer doesn't care about the battles since she's too fit to be involved in this kind of thing.
  • #Killager SwiftRage /> ^Explanation Villager from Animal Crossing, who gets a surprising number of bets even though he rarely wins. The SwiftRage emote and the "/>" are supposed to represent an angry person holding an axe.
• Male Marth! ^Explanation Marth sometimes causes Viewer Gender Confusion (he's male). This edition of Smash also has Lucina, who is female, and pretty much looks like Marth with longer hair. So she's sometimes referred to as "Male Marth."
• #TPPDrama / RIP Economy ^Explanation  Because players always win three times the betting amount, people would bet it all on the highest winning fighter, especially those who did not suffer any level nerfs. This resulted in players gaining tons of money and tokens in a matter of hours, to the point of two players earning over 700 million Pokédollars. The Streamer got fed up with the "inflation" (what the chat called it) and reset the balances to whatever players had before Smash betting launched, including a limit bet of 1000 Pokédollars, but not before banning everyone who was causing the drama, even if they were just betting instead of complaining.

Twitch Plays Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal

Basically every line in Vietnamese Crystal intermissions when they were added in between matches became a bit of a meme, thanks to the Mob only getting one input every 10 minutes or so, allowing plenty of time for spamming of silly phrases. But some lasted longer than others...

• BORT ^Explanation A Twitch emote that the mob decided to associate with the Vietnamese Crystal run due to donations claiming to be from "ELF MONSTER" using it. It features prominently in any reference to Vietnamese Crystal, like the following examples show.
• ELF'S WORLD BORT ^Explanation What the Mob calls the session of Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal that occurs between matches. Comes from a sentence in Professor Oak's introductory speech at the beginning of the game. Early on in the chat it would sometimes be compared to Dragon Ball Z (as "Elf World Z", with each input a separate "episode" of a rising story arc.
  • B BORT R T ^Explanation Similar to the "L *Insert Twitch emote here* R E" meme, but with the BORT emote instead.
  • A BORT I O N ^Explanation Obviously referring to "abortion", but using the BORT emote.
  • IT'S ELF O' CLOCK / WHAT TIME IS IT?^Explanation Often entered in the chat to remind members it's time to vote for another Vietnamese Crystal input.
  • #VoldeBORT BORT ^Explanation "VoldeBORT" is a combination of Voldemort and the BORT emote.
• MONSTER HANE ^Explanation Whenever they heal, the Nurse says "LET YOUR MONSTER HANE A REST?" instead of "Shall we heal your Pokémon?", supposedly. It caught on in chat for making absolutely no sense. Or potentially because of the word's similarity to a brand of underwear, as it's no secret the chat seems to like dirty things.
• WUSIJI DR ^Explanation Vietnamese Crystal's name for Professor Elm.
• BEST BORT ^Explanation After MR.WUSIJI/WUSIJI DR. (Prof. Elm) claimed the Cyndaquil the Mob chose was "THE BEST", they immediately named it "BEST" and considered it one heck of a top-percentage Cyndaquil.
  • BEST ORGY EVER ^Explanation The next two "ELFS" BABA caught got named ORGY (originally, it was going to be called "ORGAN" due to the Pokédex's entry) and EVER, so that this phrase would appear whenever they looked at their list of mons.
    • BEST ORGY EVER FAKE GAY DADA ^Explanation  As they progressed through the game, the party got replaced with FAKE (a Sudowoodo) GAY (a Tentacruel, or JELLY in the Viet Crystal translation. The chat gave it that name despite that it was a female JELLY) and DADA (the shiny Gyarados found normally through the storyline. It was so named to continue the BABA/Magikarp story arc)
  • BEST EXPERIENCE EVER ^Explanation The "gained experience" message was trimmed to "(name) (amount) experience," so whenever BEST beats an enemy it says "BEST (number) EXPERIENCE" which sounds like he just received some especially good experience... whatever that means.
  • FIR SAW FLASH PRIZE ^Explanation BEST's moveset at one point, which sounds vaguely like a sentence. (FIR is Ember, SAW is Cut, FLASH is Quick Attack, and PRIZE is Tackle.)
    • Ship FIR and NOAH! ^Explanation A phrase that appeared a few times in the chat, which makes reference to two characters in the game Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals who can fall in love with each other.
• Reactions to Pokémon species names:
  • Legend of Zenda ^Explanation Bugsy's Scyther was inexplicably called "ZENDA." Naturally, many references to The Legend of Zelda were made. Made even funnier by the fact that there actually exists a game called The Legend of Zenda.
  • FAKE HUSHU ^Explanation What the Mob named Sudowoodo (called HUSHU in Vietnamese Crystal) after they caught it and read the Dex entry: "?TREE IS FAKE WHEN WAVES IN NOWIND. HIDE IN THE RAIN.". FAKE then became the only ELF to be released in the game so that they could put DEKU the Togepi in the party to use Flash to get through Mt. Silver and battle Red.
  • GAY JELLYPET ^Explanation  For some reason, the chat was quite amused when they found Tentacruel was named JELLY in VC's translation and caught it. Even though it was pointed out it was female, they still named it GAY. The naming screen in VC displayed the text JELLYPET NAME? when perhaps the word PET should have been spaced differently. During the Randomized Alpha Sapphire run, which had randomized evolutions, two different Pokémon evolved opposite genders of the Generation V jellyfish Pokémon Jellicent, which unsurprisingly caused a few BORT JELLYPET BORT comments to be made.
  • BABA'S DADA ^Explanation Since BABA is seen as a Magikarp-human, the chat decided that the shiny Gyarados was her father, and named it DADA when they caught it. He's not very happy with his daughter, either. Made funnier when you consider that the Pokémon Furret is actually called DADA in Vietnamese Crystal.
  • DONG ^Explanation Originally, the chat planned to name Suicune "Entei" due to the "Never bet on Entei" meme, but it turned out Suicune's in-game name was "DON", so they decided to just add a G.
  • PIKAQ ^Explanation Pikachu. While Pikachu did not play a significant role in the VC run, its VC name became much more prominent than other VC names because of Pikachu's general prominence throughout Pokémon media.
  • SCARE WutFace ^Explanation Magneton is called "SCARE". As one of the few ELFS with a name that happens to be a real word, this got the Mob's attention.
  • BREAD ^Explanation Sandslash, another ELF with a correctly-spelled but totally nonsensical word for a name.
  • DEKE OneHand ^Explanation  Togepi's ELF name, which sounds similarly to "Deku". Naturally, Wow Deku jokes ensued, and the Mob eventually nicknamed their own Togepi "Deku."
• Everyone's waiting4baba / Now BABA waits4us! ^Explanation Expanding on the wait4baba joke from AR, every time someone mentions "WAITING", it tends to amuse the chat. It's not aided by the fact Vietnamese Crystal only has one input between every PBR match, meaning it can take anywhere between five minutes and half an hour to take one step or advance a conversation one line. Wait4baba indeed.
• BABA SCENE OF BLANK AT PRESENT WutFace ^Explanation The bizarre message given when BABA blacks out.
• FIRMLY GRASP ^Explanation The term used when referring to catching Pokémon.
• #FuckChuck ^Explanation Twitch was not very fond of the gym leader Chuck after his Poliwrath beat BABA... though this wasn't very surprising, because her only ELFS with anywhere near enough levels were both weak to Water-type moves. Also, the first word Chuck utters is "COMES."
• BABA to the Future ^Explanation The game crashed, erasing months of progress. This Back to the Future reference became popular while they tried to figure out how to salvage the save file.
• X? FALLED ^Explanation The line used in the game whenever a Pokémon (or ELF) faints. The chat became so fond of the line they started to use it whenever anything went down, including Pokémon, Trainers, the stream, or even released Pokémon. When the stream goes offline, it's not uncommon to see at least one BORT STREAM? FALLED BORT comment.
• MISSLE BOMB WutFace ^Explanation The "translation" of Team Rocket; the chat almost always refers to them as "MISSLE BOMB," even outside of Vietnamese Crystal.
• GUANDONG BORT ^Explanation The Vietnamese Crystal name for Kanto. A region of China, but perhaps chat just likes that it has dong in the name.

Though it still took the chat another 16 hours to view the entire ending, culminating in a 219 TOKEN THORM to prolong the next PBR match long enough to view the entire (untranslated) credits in a single session.
• BEST F-CAR BORT ^Explanation The Vietnamese Crystal mistranslation of the move "Flame Wheel". For a long time it was BEST's primary move. After BEST lost the move for FIREHIT (Fire Punch) and FLAME (Flamethrower), the chat would regularly reference it when F-Zero music comes up on the stream.
• BEST FLAME BORT ^Explanation The Vietnamese Crystal name for the moves Flamethrower and Water Gun. Usually spammed in reference to Flamethrower, which was one of BEST's moves, but occasionally spammed for Water Gun as well.
• Guys, we need to lick Misty! ^Explanation Right before fighting her, Misty told BABA "DON'T LICK WITH MOUTH." Such a blatant Accidental Innuendo could not go unnoticed by the chat, and it was, naturally, combined with the old "Guys, we need to beat Misty" meme.
• Sorcerer Show ^Explanation Red (the finalest boss) was called SORCERER'SSHO, which is pretty self-explanatory.
• RUINS OF ELF ^Explanation What the chat frequently call Johto's Ruins of Alph.
  • ANANUKE ^Explanation One of the puzzles in the Ruins of Alph in Crystal and the Gen II remakes is a series of rooms where the player must use/have an item/skill given by a one-word hint (though deciphering the word is a puzzle in itself, as it is written using letter-like Pokémon known as "Unown"). In the first room, the hint in the English version is "ESCAPE" (hinting to use the item Escape Rope). The chat went wild when they saw that, mostly the word "nuke", and came up with several ideas for the meaning of the text, including "anarchy nuke" (a dislike for one of TPP's two primary control input methods) and "Annie nuked" (calling back to Annie, the Hariyama from their Emerald run). Since Vietnamese Crystal is a hack of the Japanese version, the hint was left in Japanese ("ANANUKE" for Ananuke no Himo, the Japanese name for Escape Rope), presumably because VC was a bootleg clearly rushed to the black market.
• BABA BECOME HOT BORT ^Explanation The last message given by Vietnamese Crystal before it ended forever was "BECOME HOT◊" in BABA's house's radio, which was then followed by three empty message windows. The Mob then started making lore about how that's what BABA will do now that her adventure is over.

• Brain games! ^Explanation The dialogue displayed when checking the Nintendo GameCube in the protagonist's or rival's bedroom.

Twitch Plays Intermission Games

• Bootleg Pokémon Diamond/Telefang memes:
  • Regret, didn't catch! ^Explanation The Engrish message for failing to retreat from an encounter in the bootleg Pokémon Diamond (i.e. Telefang)
  • ZhCl^Explanation "Zh Cl" is the save command in Telefang, or the bootleg version "Pokemon Diamond". However, for some reason the main menu text was glitched. Chat soon learned they needed to save progress regularly or they would lose it after Game Over. They eventually found the save option. It turned out the glitch text was a side-effect of a bugfix patch developed to fix some bugs with the original bootleg.
  • OVERTHROWN!^Explanation Used when an opposing e-monster loses in Pokemon Diamond/Telefang. "x was overthrown!" was the Pokemon Diamond translation for "x ha taoreta!" in Telefang, which would more naturally be translated as "x defeated!"
  • GERLIN^Explanation Refers to Kerorin, an ugly blob e-monster. Chat managed to repeatedly turn down its offer to learn its phone number (apparently the Telefang equivalent of catching it.) A bit of a more difficult of a task than it seems, as turning down a request requires inputting A to advance text but needs a B to cancel the request prompt.
  • PartyTime ]^Explanation An emote followed by a right bracket resembling a cell phone, as the world of Telefang revolves around using the cell phone to call allies.
• ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ <game> OR RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ ^Explanation A frequently-spammed message in chat, in an attempt to get the streamer to play a different game.
• Ice guns we're packing! ^Explanation A phrase coined by Team Rocket during the Pokémon anime intermission. The mob's spamming of controls caused many of the lines to be cut off, repeated, and/or remixed, resulting in phrases like "Ice Guns" or "The Other". Ice Guns resurfaced during the Black 2 run, where Team Plasma was out to freeze Unova.

• 300 years of watching ^Explanation  Another Twitch Plays with the Remote classic, this time said by Ash. The Mob made quick work in saying that the 300 years of watching were spent watching the stream.
• INFINITE BELLY ^Explanation  In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red, the streamer hacked the game so we have 999/999 belly.
• MILF ^Explanation  Various members of the Mob try to get other users to say Milf, which results in them being banned from the chat. Some purposefully ban themselves. Many avoid the bans by saying MiIf or MlLF instead.
• X plays Y ^Explanation  In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red, Mob was deciding the next game to play after. In response, the majority of the Mob typed their suggestions in the form of a "Twitch Plays Pokémon" parody.
• Tom281 ^Explanation  In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red, the majority of the Mob was distracted from the actual gameplay. During one mission, there was a member called Tom281 who inputted roughly 50% of the commands and delivered an apple, as required by the mission. The Mob then proceed to praise Tom, usually coupled with the Senpai phrase.
• [Peach/Yoshi/Waluigi/whoever-happens-to-be-winning-at-the-time] is a cheater!^Explanation The other characters in Mario Party DS have a habit of being extremely lucky or gaining a ton of stars for little effort. Notable mention goes to Waluigi using a pipe to teleport directly to two stars in a row, and Peach rolling a 17 to get to a star she was miles from.
• Bowser-senpai ^Explanation The Mob loves it when Bowser torments the other characters or helps them when they're in last place (which is most of the time), causing many to express cries of love for him. They are less eager when they're the ones he's tormenting. Some believe he is also a communist due to his tendency to equally distribute his victims money amongst other characters.
• Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing ^Explanation Not exclusive to Twitch Plays Pokémon, but nevertheless something often uttered in the chat. Due to the difficulty of making helpful inputs in many minigames, and as Luigi is one of the characters most often played as, most of the time he does absolutely nothing to contribute, but still wins regardless.
• ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ PRAISE PALUTENA ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ ^Explanation  While playing Smash 3DS, the chat used Palutena quite a lot in order to defeat and unlock the hidden characters.
• I'm really feeling it! ^Explanation  Shulk's catchphrase in the game. It is used a lot when Shulk appears in a battle or when the Mob selects him.
• CHEESE! ^Explanation Master Hand has an attack introduced in Smash 3DS in which he throws several yellow card-like platforms onto Final Destination that rise up and attempts to lift the player character up off of the screen to their death. The yellow colour was likened to cheese. The attack was also a nightmare for the Mob to avoid, resulting in most of their losses against Master Hand besides falling off of Final Destination.
• Ash's balls finally dropped confirmed. ^Explanation Based on a then recent episode revealed in Japan entitled 'Ash and Serena's First date!?', when the chat caught wind of this, reactions ranged for 'Ash X Serena confirmed OTP', to 'Why the heck are we talking about the anime!?', to 'obvious bait is obvious, and finally the line uttered there.
• Chest > Ledge / Chest purgatory. ^Explanation When the Streamer put on Hyrule Warriors, he said that he wouldn't switch games until the chat beat the tutorial level. It sounded reasonable enough at the time, until the Twitch chat came upon the chest that gave you bombs. The end result was multiple run outs of the timer as the Twitch chat tried in vain to position Link to open the chest, with the two phrases there being the most common way they summed up the situation. To give you an idea, it took the Mob the entire day to finally get the bombs out and use them correctly, to which the streamer finally decided it was "good enough" and finally switched the games.
  • BLESS THE CHEST / Open the chest get blessed ^Explanation Often used in response to the above 'Chest Purgatory'.
    • Open the chest get 'x' ^Explanation What it eventually devolved into, with 'x' being such things like money, Zelda, ORAS early, or another chest.
• The Legend of Zelda: A Link in the Corner. ^Explanation In direct response to the chest shenanigans above, most attempts to get the bombs out of it resulted in Link getting stuck in the corners of the room for the entirety of it. Often combined with the '7.8' Meme from IGN's ORAS review as 'Too many Corners 7.8 / 10' - IGN
• Holocaust 3^Explanation During the Hyrule Warriors filler stream, people were suggesting what other Wii U games they could play besides this, with Pikmin 3 being a popular suggestion. Needless to say, a good portion of the Mob quickly realized the ensuing bloodbath that would likely take place.
• Will0 Smith ^Explanation During the EarthBound filler stream, the chat somehow managed to name Ness 'Will0'. Naturally, Willow Smith jokes ensued.
• No problem here ^Explanation Phase that's said when examining something unimportant in EarthBound and Mother 3. Used by the Mob sarcastically when it pops up, especially during something weird / important, or when trolls use it to try and slow the stream down.
• C*** in the word of Roboporn / President C*** ^Explanation Somehow, after naming the main character of Robopon 'AAAA', the chat managed to reset the game, then chat used democracy to name the main character the c-word. Naturally, the chat had a field day with this. In response, some offended chat members began to spam inputs in democracy to select the menu option to quit the game.
• ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ blood for bobo ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ ^Explanation While playing some bootlegged Pokémon strategy game in the intermission, one of the Pokémon, a Pidgey named Bobo, quickly became the chat's strongest fighter. This quickly became spammed whenever they wanted to send it to fight something.
• *Insert Twitch Emote here* /] "Hello? Is this..." ^Explanation After an entire day of not even getting past the first dungeon in Telefang 2, and only succeeding in calling up their starter mon the entire day, the Twitch chat began to mock it by pretending to call some random person in the chat.
• Naughty Dr. Mario ^Explanation For whatever reason, the chat found out typing in Dr. Mario's name would cause Deku's bot to ban you for supposedly posting a NSFW URL. The chat immediately went nuts upon discovering this.
• BLOOD WutFace ^Explanation The chat played Pokémon Channel for the GameCube. As new viewers came, they wanted to fully watch repeats of the in-game anime Pichu Bros.. As most of the session was controlled under Democracy, viewers spammed the Wait command to watch the cartoon in full. However, during one scene, Aipom paints fruit on a wall with Smeargle's tail, which had red paint. The chat began to spam the comment BLOOD, and it was soon discovered that the input software was interpreting the comments as a B,L vote, which if selected, would make the game quit playing the video (B) and switch to another channel (L).
• SNORLAX'S FEEDING TIME ^Explanation Within Pokémon Channel, the chat received a virtual version of the Pokémon Mini console, with a game called Snorlax's Lunch Time. The chat decided to play the game, only to find out that not only was the game impossible to play with Democracy mode, but also that the X (zoom) and Y (quit) buttons on the GameCube were disabled. The chat was stuck viewing the digital handheld for a couple hours until the Streamer enabled X and Y and got the chat out of the minigame. This was the second consecutive Pokémon game to have been disrupted by a Snorlax-related mishap, only days earlier having to suspend Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal when the game crashed while the chat attempted to use the radio to wake the sleeping Snorlax.
• Meowth's Stream CoolCat ^Explanation This became a regular request by the chat following Pokémon Channel. It's actually a mishearing of "Meowth's dream".
• PRChase NO INVITATION NO PARTY ^Explanation One of the chat's favorite lines from the narrator in the Pichu Bros. anime in Pokémon Channel.

• PIKAQ? FALLED ^Explanation "Pikachu is crestfallen." (in Pokémon Channel) is an unusually high-level of vocabulary for a Pokémon game. But having the word "fall" in it made the chat reference Vietnamese Crystal.
• GIVE TriHard UP ^Explanation Mario Golf requires precise timing to swing the golf-club: the chat however can't usually get that timing right, so they end up getting a high score. When the score is too high, you get a game over, and it says "GIVE UP".
• VOLTORB WutFace ^Explanation The chat played the Japanese-exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game 2 for the Game Boy Color, with a fan translation patch applied. This game includes cards with fan-drawn illustrations, with one such being a Voltorb with a very jagged body (the chat spent about a day on this first opponent in the game, Nicholas, and never won). The original physical cards were created through fanart contests in Japan, but the chat didn't know that and was just shocked and confused.
• Lady Nia^Explanation The announcer/advisor in Pokken Tournament, which TPP played for a little over a day after release. Her English voice acting was somewhat widely criticized as soon as the game released.

  • I always just go with my gut.^Explanation Nia asks the player to select a team of Support Pokemon.
• FAWWWWWWWWK YOU!^Explanation In the attract mode cinematic of Pokken Tournament, Braxien sounds like it is cussing as it attacks.
• GARRRRRRY^Explanation The first Pokemon TPP tried out in Pokken Tournament was Garchomp, which would yell "Gary!" as its cry.
• Machamp NotLikeThis ^Explanation The emote is a guy holding his hands up to his face. When Machamp loses in Pokken Tournement, it also holds its four hands on its face.
• Praise ATM card^Explanation Chat played EarthBound for a second time. Much like in earlier Pokemon games, chat repeatedly tried to use the ATM card in battle.
• Hitbox ^Explanation Part of the stream's April Fools Day 2016 prank was to set up a channel on hitbox, another streaming site. They never actually streamed anything, and the chat was mostly filled with such memes as "z33k33s dad" begging for "SON OR RIOT" and banned TPP member Terrier C.
• Anniversary Crystal OLDEN Version^Explanation Second of the April Fools pranks was an initial public release of the Anniversary Crystal patch, where all items, Pokemon and moves were renamed "OLDEN" in reference to one of the chat's favorite memes of the AC run.
