From YKTTW Working Title: technicolor buildings make for austere ruins
Janitor: English, please. Now I'm curious, Giant Space Chinchilla. What is your native language? Anyway. This should be cut.
Giant Space Chinchilla: So, you would be happier if I rewrote all the examples, the description, or both? Because this was copied strait out of the YKTTW page. Hell I'll go ahead and rewrite it anyway.
Hylarn: From reading the examples I think I get what it's about, but this isn't really the sort of thing TV Tropes is for.
Giant Space Chinchilla: so it neither works as a sub-trope of History Marches On or Ascended Meme? bummer, wish somebody mentioned that in YKTTW. I would argue that it would still be valid, perhaps as a useful note but it seems that I am outvoted.
Some Sort Of Troper: No since it's not describing what happens to works. What happens to works is Lost In Imitation. You seem to have fallen into one of the more common traps of You Know You Read Too Much TV Tropes When - thinking of every recurring pattern as a trope.
Madrugada: This is really just a vague subset of Reality Is Unrealistic.
