* ''Franchise/StarWars: Film/RevengeOfTheSith'': "Execute Order 66." And thousands of clone soldiers open fire on their Jedi generals. Worth noting is that, [[CanonMarchesOn as originally written]], Order 66 wasn't a trigger phrase but a legitimate contingency plan by the Grand Army of the Republic which was activated illegitimately; it wouldn't be until the sixth season of ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'' that it was retconned into essentially being posthypnotic suggestion to ''force'' the clones to execute the Jedi, reconciling how they would unquestioningly open fire on their Jedi commanders after they were developed into characters in their own right who knew, trusted, and even befriended the Jedi instead of just being a faceless RedShirtArmy.

** Emma used this same trick in ''Avengers+X-Men #13'' while on a personal mission with Black Widow, with a slight twist to it. Rather than a trigger phrase, she used her telepathy to implant a pervert (by the name of Frank) who was blackmailing her with a supposed sex tape with a trigger ''sight''. Now, every time he sees a pair of bare breasts, he projectile vomits. ''Every time.'' Natasha finds it so amusing that she feints having left something behind just to go back and flash the guy again.

* In one [[WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids surprisingly disturbing]] [[ComicBook/MickeyMouseComicUniverse Mickey Mouse comic]], the trigger word is "time". The villain (a psychologist, who sought revenge on Mickey for putting his son in jail) deliberately chose a fairly common word, so the trigger would go off often enough. * In Creator/CharleSheffield's "McAndrew Chronicles", space travellers are hypnotically imprinted with the "Sturm Protocol" to send them into vacuum-survival mode when a special whistle is sounded. One effect is that instead of keeping their eyes open with occasional split-second blinks, someone with the protocol triggered keeps their eyes closed with occasional split-second peeks at their surroundings, protecting their vision from ultraviolet radiation and dessication. There are strict penalties for using the invocation for any circumstances other than imminent ExplosiveDecompression.
