Toni Morrison
Toni Morrison is a Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning American author. She is currently the last American to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

She is also known for jokingly calling Bill Clinton "our first black President," because the Republican-controlled Congress kept going after him during scandals like police go after a young black man near a crime scene: automatically guilty. She then talked about how his "blackness" makes the comparison even more on-target, such as his love of fast-food and being from a poor single-parent household. Morrison was actually trying to make a point about how the Republicans were too eager to try to get Clinton out of office, but the idea of him being the first black President stuck. Then it became a bit hilarious in hindsight.
