The brave, energetic heroine. Complete with stuffed hippo.

Taco Ninja, a (FEMALE, DAMMIT!) troper from ol' Blighty. A shy creature whom you may see scuttling around TV Tropes being a grammar nazi. Do not expose Taco Ninja to large amounts of sunlight, Christian rock or work. Do not feed her after midnight and if you value your life; proofread your edits so she doesn't have to correct all your silly little typos.

WELCOME TO HER PAGE! BAHAHAHAHA!

Examples that apply to this troper:

  • Adult Child: Well, teenage child anyway. *Picks up her Starbug model and makes *whoosh* noises*
  • Bi The Way: I'm pretty sure I am bi... I drool over Samus Aran way too much... But really, can you blame me?
  • Big Eater: Oh-ho yes, my love of food has made me into a fat bitch, and I LOVE IT!
  • Bookworm
  • Brilliant But Lazy: I don't mean to brag but... *yawn*.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: I'm always staring off into space or inside the happy place inside my head, it kinda makes me hard to talk to and- PIE! :O
    • True story: My mother and I were walking down the high street and having a very deep conversation about religion, philosophy and the like. We just happened to walk past a shop with pies in the window. Of course I put the brakes on - mid sentence - and yelled "PIE!". I had just realised I was hungry see. I also talk to my dogs... They're good listeners.
  • Gamer Chick: If only I had the money to play more... it's such an expensive hobby... I need to get mah hands on a Wii.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: I will happily sleep next to four Were Bears in full 'wolf' form, I have a dead (and gorgeous) Emperor butterfly in a case, I gleefully sing along to the darkest songs in the Sweeney Todd musical, I have no qualms about telling my classmates about my dreams about serial killers, I tend to find weird/disgusting/creepy things "cool"... And this game and the plush toys attached are frigging awesome, don't listen to the troper-person who put it in High Octane Nightmare Fuel.
  • Not Good With People: (Type 1) An understatement. I like dogs more than people and I'm starting to think I'm a Werewolf.
  • Nice Hat: A black trilby hat. It's starting to become like Luffy's straw hat as in:
Luffy: "DON'T TOUCH HAT! IT'S MY TREASURE!"
  • Slasher Smile: I can look a little bit insane when I grin. I can do a pretty good Kubrick Stare too.
  • Strange Girl: And proud of it.
  • The Quiet One: The question that irritates me the most is, "Why do you never talk?"
  • The Boo Radley: On the outside; aloof, quiet, often grumpy looking and sounding, on the inside; a charming Cloud Cuckoo Lander with a Heart of Gold.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: 99.999% of Yaoi sucks but mention anything to do with male or female homosexuality and I will melt into a little puddle of pervert.

Stuff I like:

I'm also working on a Romance/ Slice of Life / Dramedy comic. It's still in development, I'm currently writing the script and not doing much else. It's set in London (my home town), centred around the lives of three teenagers at a public school and here are some of the tropes that appear in it (it also has homosexual themes of both genders, if you don't like it then GTFO):

Title Undecided

Characters:

Xander (Appearance: Tall, black shaggy hair, lean and a bit muscular, dark blue eyes. Is fond of wearing dark blue jeans and navy blue/black shirts)

A young man who was found severely beaten at the side of the motorway when he was 6, with no memory of what happened before then. He was raised in a boy's home until he was 12. Violet's parents adopted him and the story takes off from there.

James (Appearance: Short, shoulder-length white-blonde hair, grey eyes, skinny and wiry frame. Usually seen wearing an oversized grey hoodie and blue jeans)

A strange boy who is ostracised at school. He gets bullied a lot and wishes he could just... be invisible. Self-proclaimed 'the class crazy bastard'.

  • Abusive Parents: His stepfather physically and emotionally abuses him. It eventually comes to a stop after he hurls the poor boy down the stairs and finally gets arrested.
  • Break The Cutie: Happened before the series starts, he gets better... sort of.
  • Dark And Troubled Past
  • Heroic BSOD: Has many of these
  • Heroic Albino: Not a true albino, but close to it.
  • Jerkass Facade: It's like a defence mechanism for him.
  • Kuudere
  • Peek A Bangs: Platinum blonde hair that covers his eyes and half of his nose. Note that this is not Blinding Bangs, he can easily see out of it and we can see his eyes... it's like how in anime you can sometimes see their eyebrows through their hair. :P Makes no sense but it's hella convenient.
  • Straight Gay: Apart from being short, blonde and cute. :3
  • The Woobie: Poor... poor James. Let's see now... Molested at age 10, mother dead at 11, detested by everyone in his class at 12, abused by his controlling stepfather though it all and barely more than a walking corpse by the age of 13. If that's not a woobie I don't know what is.

Violet (Appearance: Medium-tall height, long silky wavy brown hair, blue eyes, tomboyish clothing)

The daughter of the people who adopted Xander. Despite being raised by a rich family, she has a filthy mind and is a big tomboy. She's a romantic at heart.

Arthur (Appearance: dark red hair, piercing green eyes, about the same size and bodily appearance as Xander. Sports chav-wear (jeans, hoodies, sports clothes) because it's the only thing his family can afford).

Resident bully jackass turned good. Character development coming soon.

Li- Maggie (Appearance: Long, curly blonde hair, baby-blue eyes, small body, and big-looking breasts due to a push-up bra. Likes showing off teh Most Common Superpower with short strappy tops and tight jeans)

Alice (Appearance: Similar to Violet, only older, with different hair and glasses)

Violet's mother. A social worker who enjoys fostering children.

Chris (Appearance: Tall, skinny arms and legs with a fat belly, thinning dark brown hair, hazel eyes.)

Violet's father. A doctor.

The class (yaaaay! time to make up names on the spot!)

Maggie's mooks:

Hannah

Nugget

Clandestine

Pancake.

Arthur's mooks:

Gareth

Nathan

John

Grant

Alice, Jade and Taco (Violet's yaoi fangirl friends)

Tari (Appearance; tall, black, lean, handsome)

  • Ensemble Darkhorse: I like this character (he's based off an old friend of mine), I might give him a bigger part and some Character Development.
  • Token Minority: Only he's just a background character that happens to be black. I guess I concentrated on making the gay characters the 'token' guys. I don't make a big deal of working different races into my character roster just to be politically correct.
  • Those Two Guys: With Sium.

Sium ('cause hey, I needed a punching bag other than James) (Appearance; Short, flabby, dark-skinned, glasses, short wooly hair, floppy lips (not racist, I just knew a guy who looks like this, I didn't like him much)

Tropes that apply to the series as a whole:

Examples that apply to this Pokemon story that I'm working on at the mo':

Characters:

Captain Taco (she has a real name but she thought it was boring) (appearance: Looks a lot like Leaf only older and wearing a black tank top, longish black suede jacket, grey trousers, boots and a black trilby hat.)

An eccentric Pokemon trainer from a Pokemon ranch near Mt Silver. She leaves home at the age of 14 to beat the Pokemon League, have an adventure, all that good stuff, with her Ponyta Dash and faithful runt Charmander, Carver.
  • Badass Longcoat
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander
  • Crazy Awesome: The first scene I thought up goes like this:
    • Taco's good natured but completely out to lunch father left a Magikarp in Goldenrod's day care center. When Taco and her team arrive there her father calls to ask her to pick up his Magikarp. She finds out that he had left the Magikarp there for 5 years and only just remembered it. The Magikarp had evolved into a Gyarados years ago and recognises Taco. Cue the Gyarados chasing her through Goldenrod city, causing massive destruction while she runs for her life on her Ponyta. She leads it through the town gate, then attempts to wrangle the Gyarados like a horse. It works, just barely.
  • Cheshire Cat Grin
  • Cute Bruiser
  • Determinator: Doesn't every Pokemon trainer have to be?
  • Forgets To Eat
  • Genki Girl
  • Hilariously Abusive Childhood
  • Jerk With A Heart Of Gold: She treats her Pokemon pretty damn harshly, but she does it because she wants them to be strong, and it's not like she's doing anything she wouldn't do to herself.
  • Nice Hat: She wears a trilby hat, like mine.
  • Raised By Wolves: Her parents pretty much left it to the Pokemon to raise her.
  • Tomboy

Carver, Cpt Taco's partner Charmander.

Dash, Taco's faithful steed Rapidash

Sanchez, Taco's Murkrow. Technically it's not her Pokemon, they decided to team up for a while and he's free to leave whenever he wants.

  • Determinator
  • Dark And Troubled Past: His mother was captured by a young trainer so he was alone until Taco came along. I got the idea after thinking... what happens if a trainer captures a Pokemon who's also a parent? Would they try to escape from the trainer to get back to their children...? The kids would die if they didn't. D:
  • Dark Is Not Evil
  • Goddamn Bats: He is a goddamn bat. In battle he flies high up so no-one can land a hit on him and knows confuse ray and faint attack.
  • Evil Laugh: "KAH KAH KAH KAH KAH!"

Toto, Taco's father's incredibly pissed off and neglected Gyarados

Kiba the Eevee/hastily evolved Jolteon (so her parents wouldn't know that it's their pet Eevee)

Duster the thief (and shiny...?) Grovyle. (I recently acquired a shiny Grovyle with cool, red leaves in Pokemon Emerald):

Suicune the legendary wolf

Abram Taco's Father, a Pokemon expert

Alice, Taco's Mother

  • Parents As People: Alice dotes on her pet Eevee so much that she occasionally forgets to feed Taco or wash her clothes. Taco didn't mind usually Taco stole the Eevee to get even.

Ciela, Carver's Charizard mother

  • I Have No Son: She abandoned Carver only because he was the runt of the litter, and she's a Darwinist jerkass.
