Super Mario Bros. 3X is a Romhack made by the SMWCentral user Koyuki. It blends the gameplay of
Super Mario World with the graphics and feel of
Super Mario Bros 3.
This game provides examples of:
- All Deserts Have Cacti: Desert World.
- Big Boo's Haunt: The Ghost Houses in Giant Island and Yoshi's island.
- Bat out of Hell: The Swoopers; there is a level in Bowser's Land dedicated to them called Swooper Cave.
- Battleship Raid: Wendy's Battleship, Roy's Ship, Bowser's Land 3, Bowser's Land 4 and Crappy Ship.
- Blackout Basement: Dark Cave.
- Bubbly Clouds: The Sky.
- Breath Weapon: Mini Rhinos, Fire Chomps and Venus Fire Traps. There's even a blue variant of the Venus Fire Trap that can rapid-firespit their fireballs.
- Cartoon Bomb: Bob-ombs.
- Convection Schmonvection: Lemmy's Castle is frozen over, yet the ice does not melt when it is placed next to the lava pits in said castle. Magma Castle qualifies because it is a tribute to Super Mario Bros 3.
- Cranium Ride: Parabeetles and Bowling Goonies.

- Eenie Meenie Miny Moai: Desert World 4.
- Everything's Better with Penguins: The Bumpty and Mace Penguin.

- Fungus Humongous: The Sky 5 and Yoshi's Island 3, which combines it with Underground Level.
