Working Title: Slippery Trope Slope: From YKTTW
Seanette: Are we sure this one doesn't qualify as a Subjective Trope? (GD&R) Ununnilium: This seems to be falling down itself, turning into Complaining About Tropes You Don't Like. Insanity Prelude: Not really. The "Crowning Moment" tropes and IANMTU, at least, seem to get a lot of complaints from adminly types and oldbies about how they've been watered down. Rann: Wow, BlackHumor damn near deleted the entire page, with promises to come back and cut out whatever else he didn't find amusing later. Could we get a vandalism reversion there? He cut out so much that it'd be almost impossible to copypaste it back in properly. Tipz: hmm, i noticed this too. To be fair, almost all of the examples here are in Trope Decay. This page was getting to be a bit of an example of itself. Of course the existence of the "The discussion page is at least half as long as the trope page" bit essentially means practically every one of those examples WERE examples of Slippery Trope. |
