Setona Mizushiro
Setona Mizushiro is a manga author whose works are mostly aimed at female audiences. In 1985 she participated in the publication of a doujinshi; she remained active in that world until her debut in 1993 with the short story Fuyu ga Owarou Toshiteita (Winter Was Ending) that ran in Shogakukan's magazine, Petit Comic.

Her works are noted for their slightly askew plots, gender issues exposition, and exploration of the human psyche. Even her lighthearted Shōjo works usually have darker underlying elements. She's been praised by authors such as Keiko Takemiya (of Kaze to Ki no Uta fame) due to her storytelling skills.

Some of her works are:

  • Fuyu ga Owarou Tohiteita
  • Maison de Beauties
  • Diamond Head
  • Kanojo tachi no X Day (also known as simply X Day)
  • After School Nightmare
  • Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume wo Iru
    • Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru
  • Kurobara Alice
  • Shitsuren Chocolatier
  • Nounai Poison Berry

Some tropes seen in her works are:
