Three sheepdog puppies are born in a barn, and one (Mist) becomes a sheepdog. Her siblings (Drift and Mist) go to other homes, while she joins the sheepdog group. Then sour great-aunt Fern tries to get her to herd rams, which is forbidden, before they manage to herd a ram together.
