Spelling/grammar fix(es)

May require ExoticExtendedMarriage if the marriage is literal. In RealLife, such a thing is called polygamy. Which is illegal in most of the world.

* Happens at the very end of the [[{{Hentai}} h-anime]] ''Love Princess Koihime''. In the first part a young man goes back to his home town to visit his grandma, and reconnects with his four, female, childhood friends. However it's revealed that his grandma is the last human in [[HiddenElfVillage the village that used to populated by both humans and shinigami]], and that he accidentally proposed marriage to all four of them, who are the daughters of the heads of the shinigami clans. At the end, a vote is held whether to allow the young man to stay or erase his memory and banish him. One of the girls breaks the tie to banish him saying that as a human, they'll outlive him and rob him of a normal human life, and the young man wakes up from a nap and goes home. In the sequel, the young man gets back to visit his grandma again, and reconnects with another friend. However, this new friend is the daughter if a vengeful shinigami who was banned and is seeking revenge against the heads of the clans, who are busy testing the young man whether or not he's worthy to marry any of their daughters. When the banished shinigami kidnap the girls, he goes to rescue them, and after the banished yokai are defeated, a head of one the clans tells the young man that [[BroughtDownToNormal their memories were erased, depowerd, and banished to live as humans]]. Furthermore, becuase of his courage, he was deemed worthy, and when he asks which one of the girls he'll marry, he's told he can marry the four of them. After an exhausting wedding night, they head out for their new life in the city, while he says that a harem is not all it's cracked out to be.

* ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact'': PlayedForLaughs. When the Traveler and Paimon try to explain a HaremGenre story to Ei, she immediately says that the simplest solution is to have the protagonist marry all seven girls. Since Inazuma is based on Imperial Japan, where this sort of thing ''did'' happen (though usually not with that many mistresses), she has a point. Paimon disagrees.
-->'''Paimon:''' That would be the most boring story ever!

See also OneTrueThreesome when it happens in fanon and {{Polyamory}} for group marriage in general. Contrast DumpThemAll, where the main character chooses none of the LoveInterests, and/or chooses someone outside the circle, and NoRomanticResolution where there is no conclusion between the love interest and the circle and they remain a [[HandsomeLech (usually)]] CelibateHero. This is almost AlwaysMale, due to longstanding {{Double Standard}}s. However, there is nothing stopping the trope from being applied to a female lead in the right setting, and this has become more common over time.

* ''Fanfic/TekkaDread'': Subverted. After discovering the long-term dangers of Tarak and Mejele's artificial procreation that will result in the extinction of humankind, Magno suggests the solution is natural procreation, ideally with one of them being one who was born naturally (in other words, Slade). Magno jokes to Slade that "for the good of humanity", he should marry Dita, Jura, and Meia, since he's built relationships with them already, and if not, at the very least bed them to ensure children. Slade was not amused by this, but it did got him to thinking of the three Dread pilots more intimately. Before their eventual war against the Radam, [[spoiler:Jura is the first to have sex with Slade. going at it for ''hours''. Next, Meia has sex with Slade, then finally, Dita has sex with him. Jura is the first to get pregnant]].

** The discovery in the [[OriginalVideoAnimation OVA]] that Juraians practice polygamy implies that Tenchi could do this. In the original series, he tends towards NoRomanticResolution by remaining friendly with all of the girls but not favoring any of them, but in the core continuity's [[AllThereInTheManual tie-in doujinshi]], it is clearly stated that [[spoiler:he did eventually marry them all, though Washu is the first one to bear him a child]]. This trope was originally called the "Tenchi Solution".
