Klaus Kinski (1926-1991) was a German actor well known for his work with director
Werner Herzog in such films as
Fitzcarraldo,
Aguirre, the Wrath of God,
Woyzeck, and the remake of
Nosferatu, along with countless other roles, including playing villains in several
Spaghetti Westerns. He is also noted for his less than stable personality. He was respected as a prolific and capable actor, but had a reputation for being extremely difficult to work with
