A forum created on Fan Fiction.net by an author known as One Behind The Mask. In just a few short months, it's shown many examples of tropes and shows lots of creativity. 20 years after the end of the second Kingdom Hearts, it's been revealed there's a school for Keybladers. They learn how to fight Heartless, in all the ways from the games—and more. But with these heroes-in-training also come seasoned villains to oppose them. - An Ice Person - Zena, who comes from An Ice World.
- Anyone Can Die - Played straight with Atticus and Coeus, but subverted because Death is Cheap. And most recently, it's entered Kill 'Em All territory with the battle against the General of Darkness' forces.
- Arson Murder and Jaywalking - What does Ignus hate most about his double? Not the random burning, not the killing, but the fact he doesn't like clichés
- Asian and Nerdy - Averted with Zane. Also, he's here only because the other "Asian" characters are Asian on technicality of whatever world they come from.
- Attack of the Fifty Foot Whatever - Darkzords and Juggernauts. The 20-foot-tall Jotun are a downplayed example.
- Author Appeal - The sheer amount of Les Yay. Winged O Cs for Wyrmhero
- Ax Crazy - ROLAN.
- Back from the Dead - Allie Surt, Minerva, Coeus' dead ex.
- Backstory - Many characters, mainly Demi killing Rolan's family and she and Atticus being synthesised, Coeus and his Parental Abandonment, and his Robot Girls, Freya and Hrist
- Badass - Rolan counts, beating up demons with nothing but a rock. Levin does too, being the first to curbstomp Revenants, even if it WAS with their one weakness.
- Tristan's earned the title by taking on the Humongous Mecha of Sakura Wars... While on foot.
- And so has Xander, able to take on a Butsutekkai(of Ikaruga fame) without even having to resort to a ship of his own.
- Badass Family - Xander, who's family includes: A God of Heroes (brother), a God of Weather (himself), a Half-Titan God of Valkyries (father) and the leader of the Valkyries (mother).
- Badass Normal - Sakon Nikki can take down a Revenant with one punch. No, he's not a Keyblader either.
- Bi the Way - All the Robots, Mia.
- Big Bad - Blackwell and Snap, so far.
- Big Eater - Tristan. Holy crap, Tristan.
- Big Good - Coeus.
- Bishōnen - Xander. Clint, too.
- Blade on a Stick - Sarah's Keyblade.
- Blood Knight - Rolan again. Also his girlfriend Lilly, but she hasn't shown it much as of yet.
- BFS - Xander's borrowed Summersword (over 7 ft long)
- Break the Cutie - Happened to Anna in her back story. HORRIBLY. RS also likes to do this to Liz.
- Break the Haughty - Vultus.
- But Your Wings Are Beautiful - Shae to Angela after she is resurrected from death
- Butt Monkey - Atticus and his failed attempts at being a hero or a good person.
- Calling Your Attacks - Many characters, but ESPECIALLY Saji. Wyrmhero refuses to write out Sayaka doing so for her Super Robot.
- Camp Gay - Averted with Tristan. Tristan is slightly flamboyant. But his words and verbal mannerisms, at least, are pretty straight.
- Canon Immigrant - Xavaran, Zeno and Xander & Family
- Catch Phrase - Hrist's "I do not comprehend" and Saji's "COURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!!".
- Character Development - Much like Gig in Soul Nomad, Demi has gone from Jerkass to Noble Demon of sorts. She's still somewhat of a Dirty Coward though.
- Chaste Hero - Saji cries because he thinks his hormones for Sayaka are getting in the way of his being a true Hero.
- Chick Magnet - Saji and Xander.
- Child Prodigy - Coeus with electronics/mechanics, Shae with weapon skills, Paul with magic.
- Christmas Cake - Sarah, though she won't let you know her EXACT age. Angela and her friends too.
- Cloning Blues - Atticus, and the supposedly Back from the Dead Minerva.
- Cloudcuckoolander - Anna, with a very very very very very good explanation. Milly, not so much.
- Colonel Badass - Sarah.
- Complete Monster - Charles Blackwell, self-admitted. Dr. Snap, not-so-self-admitted. Janus Malacay takes the cake, however, when he took control of Elizabetha and had her attack Saji, and again when he attacked poor, poor Anna.
- All of the Youkai. Kou and Hiro told stories of the stuff they've done to humans who wronged them, and Kou is quite obviously a murderer. Hiro likes to cause disproportionate and near eternal tortue. But he does it stylishly. Saeki eats people. It's pretty heavily implied Chiaki's a serial rapist. And yet they're interesting, and are good friends]], as well as consider Rolan and friends to be good, non-violent amusement. Except Kou, who hates everything.
- Cool Big Sis - Liz is this to Saji. And it's cute.
- Creator Breakdown - Well, not creator, but member. Cyxrus left due to stress.
- Crossover - Being related to Kingdom Hearts, it's very easy to cross this universe with others. So far, there are crossovers with Spellforce, Getter Robo, Dragon Quest Monsters, Valkyrie Profile, and more...
- Crowning Moment of Funny - Tristan's so happy to receive good news from his former troupe that he kisses Genevieve. His reaction? "Ew, girl lips."
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming - Saji and Vultus, after their differing methods divided them, enter a manly embrace when they see each other again, proving that bygones are bygones.
- Curb-Stomp Battle - So Jarl Malacay takes his brother Janus' power, and Shae's dead so no baggage there. He proceeds to annihilate the inanimate objects around him... Then Angela, in her Mama Bear rage, impales him repeatedly, not giving him a chance to show off his powers anymore, and finally stabs him through the Heart. God... DAMN.
- Cute Little Fangs Shae, Miriah.
- Cute Monster Girl - Shana
- Cute Shotaro Boy - Saji.
- Dark Counterpart - The Shadow Templars, though Dark is not Evil.
- Dark Is Not Evil - Half the cast, but ESPECIALLY Rolan.

- Dead Little Sister - Allie Surt. And then she's not.
- Deadpan Snarker - Many characters, especially those roleplayed by Wyrmhero.
- Deal with the Devil - Ardetia, Angela

- Demonic Possession - Gig to Coeus (for a bet). Also the Fiend with Mori, of the malevolent sort, and the Song for Lilly, of a not-so-malevolent version.

- Deus ex Machina - Coeus has imbedded himself with magical circuits, using his veins as wires. This machinery literally gives him god-like powers
- Dirty Coward - Rolan sees Demi as this.
- Disability Superpower - Levin.
- Distressed Damsel - The Robots, and Monika, also a robot. Somewhat averted in that they'd have busted themselves out if their captor wasn't practically a Physical God.
- Do You Want to Copulate? - Hrist to Xander.
- Does This Remind You of Anything - Demi's fear of Keyblades.
- Earthshattering Kaboom - Xander's Limit Break when he completely lets his power loose.
- Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors - Played with. Elements that oppose each other are indeed each other's weaknesses, but if applied with the same force, they cancel out.
- Mr. Fanservice - Xander, in many so ways.
- Even the Girls Want Her - Michelle.
- Exposed to the Elements - Xander, though as a Weather God, it doesn't bother him. Alkaid as well.
- Expository Theme Tune - Every time Saji summons his Humongous Mecha, RS writes in a Suspiciously Similar Song version of a Super Robot theme song. So far are Combattler V and Getter Robo.
- Expy - Several.
- Fan Nickname - Freya, Miriah, Michelle are known as 'The Yuri Genre Trio'
- Fanon - OBVIOUSLY.
- Fanservice - All over the place, but aside from the Les Yay and Schoolgirl Lesbians, there's the time Sayaka and Saji went swimming. Sexy swimsuit and Marshmallow Hell for Saji.

However, it's just been revealed that his girlfriend, Zena, rebelled against the laws of her world by refusing an arranged marriage, her being a princess. It wasn't meant to describe him, it was meant to describe Zena.
- Fun with Acronyms - Demi Synthesised Emblem Heartless: Experimental Keyblader and Coeus' Synthetically Integrated Network (which only adds to Gig calling him emo)
- Gadgeteer Genius - Coeus.
- Gag Boobs - Freya and Mia, as well as the Sayakrusher, which can shoot super-corrosive wind from fans built into its breasts.
- Gender Bender - Rolan, courtesy of Hiro. Hilarity has already ensued.
- Genre Blindness - Ignus manages to be this and Genre Savvy Simultaneously.
- Genre Savvy - Xander.
- Good News, Bad News - Good News? Shae's free of Malacay. Bad News? She's now transforming into some kind of dragon-thing
- Grand Theft Me - Malacay tried to do this to Shae.
- Heroic BSOD - Saji's gone through a couple. Ink has, too. Angela as well. In general, if you're one of RS or Wy's O Cs, don't expect to be always happy.
- Heroes Want Redheads - Rolan and Lilly. Though Rolan's only a hero by the loosest definitions.
- Heroic Sociopath - Rolan, yet again.
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel- The Junkyard is this in-universe. Scarier, coupled with And I Must Scream are the naturally-made Angel Heartless. If you thought Dr. Snap kidnapping and turning them into Revenants was bad, imagine what it's like for those who were just unlucky enough to be attacked by Shadows. Here's something for you: THEY STILL HAVE THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS, BUT NO CONTROL OVER THEIR BODY. * shudder* Also from the mind of RS, the Juggernauts. You'd think someone in a vehicle who gets Heartlessed would just leave the vehicle alone, right? WRONG! If someone's in a vehicle, and they get turned into a Heartless, depending on the importance of that vehicle to both them and their setting, THEY BECOME ONE WITH THE VEHICLE. That's right. They get fully absorbed into whatever they're piloting, and it becomes some unrecognizable, yet humanoid THING. With all the ablities that said vehicle possessed. Have fun driving!
- Hive Mind - Legion and his Slivers
- Hoist by His Own Petard - Demi killed Snap, against all expectations.
- Holy Hand Grenade - Vultus Extent of Judgement, which deals more damage against lawbreakers.
- Horny Devils - Miriah. The whole school seems to have this Trope though...
- Saeki is a more typical example.
- Hot Blooded - Saji, full stop. If RS tries hard enough, he may out Hot-Blood Guy Shishioh. Also, Tyr.
- Hot Scientist - Sarah
- How Do I Shot Web? - Clint has no idea what his Keyblade is yet.
- Humongous Mecha - Saji and his father have one each. Sayaka's also recently obtained one of her own.
- ALL of BBB has one so far. All except Sarah have more traditional Super Robots, whereas Sarah's has Super Robot abilities like Physics warping, but is treated as a Real Robot and a regular weapon rather than one with its pilot as the rest are.
- And the envelope's just been pushed with the new Shanagrinder. It's over twice as big as the rest of BBB's mecha.
- Huge Schoolgirl - Many characters are larger than average, but Shae, being well over 6 foot and being just 12 (10 in our year cycle...), really stands out
- Humans Are Bastards - Who is the most abhorrent, least pleasant person to be around? It's not Saeki, not Chiaki, not Rolan, not Adam... It's the Alpha Bitch Rosalina.
- I am Legion - Legion, quite simply. Averted slightly, because it's given to him (Legion doesn't see the point of names, at first).
- I am Your Father - Blackwell to Coeus and Nova
- Idiot Hero - played straight with Saji, a sort-of parody of Humongous Mecha/Shonen action heroes, brutally deconstructed with Atticus. Not only is Atticus an Idiot Hero, no one forgives him for it.
- I'm a Humanitarian - Rolan, for a while. Now he's something straight out of Devilman
- Improbable Weapon User - Everyone, this being a Keyblade forum.
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain - Kalos, who's goal is to make everything colourful. His risk is F.
- Jerkass - Jeremy(Jem) was a huge one before Cy left.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold - Darren, who hates Rolan for putting so many people into the infirmary. Also Demi, who actually wants to help people, in a roundabout way.
- Rolan himself as well. He's a Jerkass with all the ramifications thereof, but he sincerely cares for his friends, girlfriend, and little sister, Allison.
- Karma Houdini - Demi gets away without any punishment for killing Rolan's family. They're relatively good friends.
- Katanas Are Just Better - Demi's main Keyblade is based off a katana.
- Kick the Dog - Not only is one of Angela's best friends slowly fading away, her surrogate daughter's off on a journey for a month, she's having weird dreams, and then Midi knocks the coffee jar over.
- Kill 'Em All - Many many characters died in combat against Ranmaru Shogun's forces. Most in climactic ways, some very sad.
- Kill it with Fire - Ignus.
- Kissing Cousins Genevieve and Mordred are set up to be this
- Knight Templar - Vultus. Saji calls him out on this, and they fight due to it. It leads to Saji's first Heroic BSOD.
- Knight in Sour Armour - What Vultus becomes after seeing what actual Knight Templars and the rest of the universe are like
- Lady of War - Hachiko. Liz will become this, most likely, once she gathers up her resolve and becomes a true Action Girl.
- Lampshade Hanging - A lot. Many courtesy of Ignus, who can't help but play it through like a simple Cliché Storm
- Large Ham - Count Wodan LOVES! HIS! PORK! Wa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha! HA!
- Laser-Guided Amnesia - A few characters.
- Les Yay - Many examples, but Wy and his characters see subtext in Hrist's costume choices for herself and her sisters.
- Light is Not Good - To be expected. An example is Vultus.
- Like a Badass Out of Hell - Rolan and Ignus just won't stay dead.
- Limit Break - Almost every character has one.
- Little Miss Badass - Shae.
- Loads And Loads of Characters - Already over 50 of them.
- Love Freak - Michelle.
- Louis Cypher - Also a Keyblader, and Ardetia made a deal with him. He's looking to find capable sparks to help him battle God. Pretty nice guy, though.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover - It's a Kingdom Hearts fan forum. OF COURSE THIS WOULD HAPPEN!
- Voluntary Shapeshifting - What many non-human characters do to avoid attention.
- Master of the Mixed Message - Duplica to Coeus
- Meaningful Name - Quite a few characters.
- Mood Whiplash - After Minerva and Mia getting it on, drama happens with their respective boyfriends.
- Musical Assassin - Not an assassin per se, but Zane's a good musician, and his Keyblade looks like a note.
- My God, What Have I Done? - Max only wanted to defeat Talis in the duel and make sure Zena got to keep her freedom. He never planned to KILL him...
- My Sister is off Limits - Rolan towards Demi's carefree, mild, verbal abuse at him.
- Narm - Everything Blackwell says.
- Naughty Tails - Rolan to Lilly.
- Neutral Female - Entirely AVERTED with Saji's mom Sakura. When her husband and child are fighting she whips out the damn Naginata.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero - [[spoiler: Shae's first action on coming back from Eo is to break one of the crystals Snap was looking to break in the first place. Nice Job, Shae.
- Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot - Shana, the vampiric Gargoyle, and Trom Decibel, the robot Bard.
- Noble Demon - Any of the Shadow Templars who aren't Ax Crazy are this. Bara combines the two.
- Obfuscating Stupidity - Miriah, to make people underestimate her (and to avoid work).
- Omnicidal Maniac - Both Big Bads so far, though their methods are different.
- Person of Mass Destruction - Xander, who can take out a mile radius. Kept in check by this nearly killing him, and being seriously unstable and unpredictable.
- Pet the Dog - Liz to Shae while suffering from love issues, Demi genuinely loving Liz, Rolan's devotion to his friends and family.
- Playing with Fire - Ignus, as mentioned before, and Rolan. However, where Ignus bases his fighting style around it(and Fragile Speedster, Rolan uses it to enhance his own attacks.
- Put on a Bus - Vultus, for the time being.
- Precision F-Strike - After Ink's failure to kill Snap, (Snap just escaped, after all, Ink did what he was going to do anyway), and knowing he has but moments to live, Ink swears for the first time ever.
- Properly Paranoid - Demi, for a good reason: Most of the people in the Academy would kill her if they know what she really was.
- Psychic Powers - Morganna has these, as a Shout Out to King of Fighters. They're overall very Green Lantern Ring, encompassing teleportation, energy projectiles, shields, and of course telekinesis and telepathy.
- Psycho Lesbian - Liz. Subverted somewhat as once her feelings were returned, she's mellowed out quite a bit. Not to mention, she's quite regretful of the way she acted, and far more willing to listen to reason.
- Physical God - Xander, and theoretically Coeus.
- Really Gets Around - Saeki. Chiaki would LIKE this, considering her former harem's dead.
- Rebellious Princess - Zena, who ended up killing the man she was meant to be married off too. And now Genevieve's just become one, though she hasn't gone so far as to murder Mordred to avoid the marriage. Yet.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something - Zena again.
- Robot Girl - Freya, Hrist and Minerva. Monika.
- Rousseau Was Right - Saji believes there's good in everyone. Even Demi, but he realized there was none at all in Malacay.
- Rule Of Cool - Likely why Lucifer is wielding a Keyblade alongside these kids, aside from the Shout Out to Shin Megami Tensei.
- Sarashi - Shae wears one to make fighting easier.
- Scary Shiny Glasses - Angela's favorite method of instilling fear and cooperation. Works on Ink, not on Demi or [[Tykebomb Shae]].
- Schoolgirl Lesbians - A few. Kisala and her unnamed girlfriend, Freya, Michelle, and Miriah, and Liz and Demi.
- Sharp Objects Nut - Bara is this. She especially loves chainsaws. Rolan as well, with various blades.
- She Who Fights Monsters - Ardetia, intentionally and deliberately.
- Single-Target Sexuality - Miriah for Michelle.
- Shock and Awe - Sephiria, combined with Lightning Bruiser. Though, most of the bruises are light.
- Shotacon - Although Sarah said Saji's too young for her... Also, Angela, even though Ink is Really 700 Years Old
- Shout Out - Up the ass, mostly courtesy of RS, Mask, and Wyrmhero. Also, Saji's entire schtick.
- Social Darwinist - Maeve and Legion.
- Split Personality - Atticus and Arcus.
- Spoony Bard - Lilly and Trom.
- Squick - Lillianna and Rolan as a demon.
- Straight Gay - Zane. Clint would be too, but he's too girly-looking.
- Stripperiffic - Alkaid's standard attire. The Robot Girls are now KOS-MOS cosplayers, too. Freya gets Version 4, Hrist gets Version 3, and Minerva gets Version 1. Also, as he doesn't feel the cold, Xander wears very little too...
- Super Robot - Saji's its sort of hero, and pilots one, and his Love Interest Sayaka now does as well, however his views are more in place in Gundam than in Mazinger Z.
- Sure, Why Not? - Almost all of Wyrmhero's characters suffer (or benefit) from this at one point.
- The Power of Blood - Shae, Rhea and Angela, as Shaikans (overlapping with Bloody Murder), Xander as a Weather-God. A big theme for Wyrmhero's characters.
- Theme Naming - Alkaid and Majora are named for stars and systems. Demi and Midi.
- The Mole - Demi
- Theme Naming - Coeus' Robot Girls and Hrist's own creations are all named after Norse and Greek Gods.
- The Rival - Zena to Rolan. Also Ignus and Rolan, to the degree that Ignus realises that if Rolan's demonic-ness goes out of hand, it's his duty to stop him.
- There Are No Therapists - The school has all the things required: Students, teachers, administration, librarians, pilots for offworld travel... But no mention's been made of the counselors! One would assume the teachers serve that role, but I think they need some people whose specific job is to help students with their issues. Because BOY, do they have issues.
- The Scrappy - Not quite, but Cyxrus REALLY had it in for Liz.
- The Stoic - Hrist, Dragon, Sephiria.
- This Is a Drill - Both the Monster of the Week it fought, and the newly-introduced Shanagrinder.
- Tragic Monster - Mori
- Transparent Closet - Michelle, despite believing in love in all forms and having two girlfriends, claims she's still straight.
- Trickster Mentor - Because There Are No Therapists, Demi quickly becomes annoyed with all the Heroic BSODs going on, and tries to stop everyone whining. It works, surprisingly.
- Tsundere - Genevieve, big time.
- Unfortunate Implications - Out of all three of the couples caught doing it in the corridors, all three are lesbians
- Don't forget the sheer AMOUNT of lesbian/bisexual girls.
- Variable Length Chain - Miriah's Keyblade, coupled with Whip it Good.
- Walking Shirtless Scene - Xander, complete with fangirls though the entire Academy.
- What Kind of Lame Power is Heart Anyway - Legion's Keyblade, until the large battle in the school, in which he can see the entire battlefield
- What the Hell Hero - Atticus when he tried to sacrifice himself to bring Coeus back
- What Measure Is a Mook? - They're people, as the BBB learn when the Monster of the Week turn out to be piloted machines.
- White-Haired Pretty Boy - Xander. Also, Xed14thkey's newcomer Clint is one. Lately, Mikael has shown up too ,but he's a Hermaphrodite
- Wide-Eyed Idealist - Saji's actually an interesting version. He fully acknowledges the world is a bad place, and that it's very difficult to figure out what side you're on. However he also believes that working together trumps all, and that all people have good in them. Then he met Malacay, and he realized that SOME people are just irredeemable. He forgives Demi, though, because Love Redeems.
- Worf Effect - Dr. Snap on the Instructors, most characters on Revenants
- Wrench Wench - Miriah, before she was sent to Hell.
- Yandere - Mia became this, but Mori managed to convince her to calm down. Though she was broken at first. Now she doesn't seem to be, but only time will tell...
- Yaoi Fangirl - Genevieve, who not only is One of Us and makes fanfiction, she ships Xander with himself
- Yaoi Guys - Clint and Haiden. First of the RP.
- You Bastard - A few people seem to get this feeling when they make Saji sad/otherwise feel negative emotion.
- You Killed My Father - Rolan, towards Demi, at first.
