• Chronically Killed Actor/Dead Star Walking: His characters tend to get killed off—in two instances (on Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer), the character he played was *already* dead when the show started
• Cunning Linguist: Speaks fluent French, Italian, can pull off an American accent so convincingly that many people are genuinely shocked to learn that he's British, and can even give his British accent an Irish tinge (as he did on Law & Order: UK)
• Fake American: He's adopted an American accent for nearly all of his US TV appearances.
• Mr. Fanservice: He tends to be this in most of the productions he stars in.
• Shirtless Scene: His best known one is the famous towel scene from Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined), but there are quite a few others, all very nice, indeed.
