Sept 9, 2009 Hipployta smiles at the memory of the screams of her, no longer with us, enemies
You can google (web,image, and video) search this name to get alot of facts but let's see, I am a 26 years old female who is very odd.
I LOVE POLITICS AND HISTORY! So much so I double majored in them at Rutgers. Thank goodness I'm military because I would have to go to grad school to get a job in those fields... :-/
I'm addicted to Twitter (@hipployta) and I'm a recovering shopaholic of clothes, electronics, and comic books
I actually don't watch THAT much American television beyond sci-fi and fantasy stuff.
I do watch dramas from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or the collaborations with mainland China so I love the fansubber community.
A bit odd I know...total fan girl I suppose. I also read mangas, manhwas, and keep up with anime. I also read a ridiculous amount of books. I used to have over a $400 a month comic book habit (Ron's Comic World o_O). I remember a You Tube video I posted (http://www.youtube.com/user/hipployta#p/u/5/UT5OnfRsCGU) , on my account, of me in the store where I was happy I had only spent $200 for two weeks worth of stuff.

Hippolyta was the Queen of the Amazons in classical mythology and was either a) killed by Hercules for her Golden Girdle or b) married to that loser Theseus and died thereafter. For my fellow comic book geeks...yes she is Diana, Wonder Woman's Mom/Creator too.
I needed a title befitting my future reign as global despot and picked Hipployta in FIFTH GRADE...oh yeah I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I thought about Penthesileia but who wants to be associated with yet another person killed at Troy by Achilles [but worse whose body he likely defiled by sleeping with after she died. Necro activity is NEVER cute]. Did I mention I am massive fan girl of literature, manga, anime, television...
Looking back I think Athena might have been a bit more clear and and in line with my other handles.
I miss the This Troper edits. My ego and narcissistic nature enjoyed them.
