Gemma Chan (born 1982) is an English actress of Chinese descent. She studied law at Oxford, but switched to studying acting at Drama Centre London, from which she graduated in 2008. Her roles since then include:

• Sherlock (2010 episode "The Blind Banker") as Soo Lin Yao
