When TheMerch goes FunSize. It seems anyone and everything you can think of has a plushie toy based on it, especially in Japan when it comes to {{Anime}} and VideoGame characters (minor or major). These can be official or fan made.

Although they are mostly toys, they are still featured on shows, especially fan made works.

Can overlap with MisaimedMarketing if the work wasn't aimed at children to begin with or MadeOfExplodium if the InUniverse plushies are explosive.

Compare GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals.

* ''Animation/IllReturnAsTheRain'', a [[UsefulNotes/SovietRussiaUkraineAndSoOn Soviet]] [[UsefulNotes/GeorgiaEurope Georgian]] short about a snowman and an unnamed girl who make friends with each other. Being a icon of children's media in Georgia, the short accumulated enough popularity in Georgia to eventually become merchandised for decades to come, including plushies.
* The ''Animation/PleasantGoatAndBigBigWolf'' characters have plushes.

* One of the more popular plush brands in Japan is [[http://www.gift-gift.jp/nui/index.html Gift]], with something close to ''[[http://goo.gl/UwC5iQ 330]]'' releases. Good luck finding any after their initial batch, though; they run in very limited quantities.

** There's also Nuii of the Shurara Corps, who's basically a [[LivingToys Living Toy]]. In his case however, Everything's ''Not'' Better With Plushies, considering that he can turn hapless victims into plushies themselves. [[spoiler:He does pull a HeelFaceTurn in the end though.]]
* ''Manga/Reborn2004'' plushies have been spotted in Sweet Kitty at least.
* In ''Manga/CardcaptorSakura'', there is a plushie in Sakura's room that looks exactly like her. It was made by her best friend Tomoyo, and had one of those cosplay-like dresses even before Sakura became a Magical Girl.
** Kero-chan.

* ''Anime/GhostInTheShellStandAloneComplex'' has Tachikoma plushies, or as they're commonly refered to- [[http://www.takotech.net/mshp/media/users/lucas/animaxtachiplush.jpg Plushikomas]]. Ironically, the [[http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/DRCEQ2/KakkoiCon%202008/Shwag/TachikomaPlushie.jpg blue one]] is the rarest one to find.

* In ''[[VideoGame/PriPara [=PriPara=]]]'', Mirei has a plush pillow of Kuma, and Hibiki has a plush of herself she uses to get herself out of embarrassing situations, both of which were made into real products. All of the mascots in the show, along with [=SoLaMi=] Smile, Dressing Pafe, My Dream, Aroma and Mikan and the boy idol group WITH, also have plushies.
* A popular trend in Japan is SEGA's line-up of nesoberi plushies. Nesoberi means "lying down" in Japanese, and these plushies usually have characters with funny expressions on their face in a lying-down pose. Perhaps the most well-known nesoberi plushies come from ''Franchise/LoveLive'', with many variations being made in both outfits and sizes. The biggest one made so far is a 40 inch Chika from ''Anime/LoveLiveSunshine''. Other franchises have gotten nesoberi plushies as well, including ''Anime/BangDream'', ''Manga/CaseClosed'', ''Anime/KemonoFriends'' and ''[=PriPara=]''. They've also made nesoberis of Creator/{{Disney}} characters like WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse and [[WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitch Stitch]].
* In ''Anime/MahoGirlsPrecure'', the girls transform with the help of Mirai's stuffed teddy bear Mofurun. There's also numerous ''Pretty Cure'' plushies for sale in Japan, with the most popular being the Funwari Cure Friends series.
* Tails [[ExploitedTrope exploits]] this trope in an early episode of ''Anime/SonicX''. By [[PlayingPossum lying limp and still]], he and Sonic's other friends look like oversize plush toys, [[{{Masquerade}} hiding their true nature from humans]]. This works against him when he, Chris, and Amy Rose have to ride a train to meet Sonic, and a little girl on the train [[ImTakingHerHomeWithMe wants to take Amy home with her]]...

* Creator/MarvelComics [[http://shop.marvel.com/search/?keywords1=Plush&method=all&collection=sitebuilder%2Fcatalog-200417&x=0&y=0 Plushies]].
* It is possible to find patterns for a Bamf; that is a defictionalized plushie version of Nightcrawler.
* In-universe, the [[ComicBook/TeenTitans Titans]] sold likeness rights in the early nineties (which, [[ComicBookTime by this time]], is probably around 2003 or so) so floating around somewhere in Franchise/TheDCU are ComicBook/{{Starfire}}, ComicBook/{{Nightwing}}, and Beast Boy plushies.
** Red Tornado's daughter, Traya, had a Beast Boy plushie.
* [[http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/06/scott_pilgrims_plushie_little_life.php Some now exist of]] [[ComicBook/ScottPilgrim Scott and Ramona.]]
* In-Universe, Oracle in ''Comicbook/BirdsOfPrey'' was sometimes shown with a plushie Batgirl or Nightwing on her computer desk.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Strips]]
* OlderThanTelevision. Since 1925, Alfred the penguin is the pet of French young globetrotters ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zig_et_Puce Zig et Puce]]''. In early 1927, a plushy Alfred toy was merchandised: it launched a huge Alfred craze all over France. When aviator Charles Lindbergh achieved his historical transatlantic flight to Paris that year, he was given an Alfred plushy and brought it with him as a mascot in his flight from Paris to Brussels. Since Everything's Better With Plushies and EverythingsBetterWithPenguins, you just can't go wrong with a plushy penguin.
* Famously {{averted|Trope}} with ''ComicStrip/CalvinAndHobbes''. For obvious reasons, merchandisers were very interested in making Hobbes plushies. Since Hobbes is or often at least appears to be a plushie in-universe, this would have counted as {{Defictionalization}}. However, Bill Waterson was dead set against any merchandising of his strip and went to great lengths to prevent the syndicate from doing so. However, this does not seem to have any effect on fan-produced plushes and SerialNumberFiledOff [[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0787GQGS3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_oTnMDb6Z6PAHZ designs]] from companies willing to push their luck...[[note]]To be fair though, they are copying Hobbes' ''plush'' form, as in what Hobbes look like to adults and other kids as opposed to from Calvin's POV, which is probably allowed due to an ExactWords-style loophole. Still, a daring move.[[/note]]

[[folder:Films -- Animation]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TurningRed'': Given how [[{{Moe}} huggable]] Mei's giant red panda form is InUniverse, it was inevitable that Creator/{{Disney}} would end up selling [[https://www.shopdisney.com/mei-panda-plush-turning-red-18-412326331940.html two]] [[https://www.shopdisney.com/mei-panda-plush-turning-red-9-12-412307079649.html plushies]] of it along with [[https://www.shopdisney.com/mei-plush-doll-turning-red-412337079725.html one]] of Mei's human form.

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* There's a line of ''Franchise/{{Godzilla}}'' plush dolls made by a company called [[http://www.toyvault.com/ Toy Vault]]. Not only do they make plushies of well-known Kaiju such as Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, but they also produce plushies of more obscure monsters such as [[Film/AllMonstersAttack Gabara]], [[Film/GodzillaVsMechagodzilla King Seesar]], and the completely evil [[Film/GodzillaVsDestoroyah Destoroyah]].
* When ''Film/{{Gremlins}}'' first came out, plushies of Gizmo were very popular (and still common at toy shows and antique shops). There was also a Furby-compatible interactive Gizmo. There was even a plushie of Stripe (the main Gremlin from the first movie). Said Stripe plushie is now extremely rare and considered highly collectable among Gremlins fans.
* There's a line of plush toys that are based upon the ''Franchise/{{Alien}}'' franchise. These include the Chestburster, Dog-Alien Chestburster, the Queen Chestburster, and a Facehugger. While they are adorable versions of a monstrous fetus that emerges violently from one's chest, [[MisaimedMarketing they're probably NOT the best thing to give your children as a gift.]]
* Spencer's Gifts once sold [[Film/TheRockyHorrorPictureShow Dr. Frank N Furter]] dolls that played a sample of the ''Time Warp'' when squeezed. They're now very hard to find and are considered highly collectible by Rocky Horror fans.
** Spencer's Gifts now sells plushies of [[Franchise/ANightmareOnElmStreet Freddy Krueger]], [[Franchise/FridayThe13th Jason Voorhees]], and [[Film/TheTexasChainsawMassacre Leatherface]]. And they're simply... um... adorable?
* There is a fan-made plush doll of [[Film/TheMatrix Agent Smith]] and [[Film/TheLordOfTheRings Elrond]] ([[http://hatsukoi.deviantart.com/art/Lord-of-the-Rings-Plush-Doll-14029543 Elrohir]] supports this); no [[Film/TheAdventuresOfPriscillaQueenOfTheDesert Mitzi]] though. They were quite possibly from [[http://www.nasseh-ya.com/ here]] several years ago.
* There are commercially available plushie versions of the [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog]] and the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. As well as the Black Knight, with Velcro limbs.
* Creator/KevinSmith is proud to sell you Mooby The Golden Calf from Film/TheViewAskewniverse.
* You can buy a plushie Iorek Byrnison and golden monkey based on the movie ''Film/TheGoldenCompass''. You know, because that monkey was so lovable and cuddly.
* About ten-odd years ago, there was a line of [[Franchise/UniversalHorror Universal Monsters]] plushies which featured Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolfman, and others. These were "generic" amalgamations of the Monsters, lacking any specific actor's features.
* When the third ''[[Film/SpiderManTrilogy Spider-Man]]'' movie first came out, Hasbro released a set of plushies featuring Spider-Man (both in his red and black suits), as well as plushies of all the villains in the movie, as well as Green Goblin and Doc Ock from the previous films.
* There are now ''Franchise/{{Ghostbusters}}'' plushies in claw machines around the USA; these depict Slimer, Stay-Puft, and the four heroes in "chibi" form.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* Phear [[http://www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/index.html Plushie Cthulhu]]. [[http://www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/oop.html They also come in such variants]] as Elvis Franchise/{{Cthulhu|Mythos}}, Miskatonic graduate Cthulhu, vacation Cthulhu, and Christmas Cthulhu (with a little Santa hat and jingle bells on its tentacles).
** The ''TabletopGame/CallOfCthulhu'' RPG supplement Secrets of Japan deliberately invoked this trope with Cthulhu, suggesting that a plushie doll made by cultists of Cthulhu could become possessed with the malevolent spirit of its malevolent namesake.
** ''Literature/TheLaundryFiles'' has the protagonist making an [[NoodleIncident offhand reference]] to the panic caused among his organisation when they first came out.
** And now it's time for ''WebVideo/CallsForCthulhu''
* In the age before the [[Film/HarryPotter films]], ''Literature/HarryPotter'' had plushies out of the Golden Trio and their pets, though in the case of owls, there were about five different kinds and they had scrolls attached to their feet. Each scroll had a different message.
* There is now a Phantom of the Opera plushie created by Chérie Shulter and El Gibbs. They are true to [[Literature/ThePhantomOfTheOpera the original book]] by Gaston Leroux and are adorable to true "phans" and slightly strange to others.
** An earlier Phantom plushie was one of the monsters in the ''Universal Monsters'' line of "beanies." His mask was separate from his face, but its nose was "stuffed," and he lacked a "real" nose underneath!
* The Literature/{{Discworld}} Emporium has a range of plushies including the Death of Rats, the Librarian, Greebo, Death (with kitten), the Luggage and a rat-onna-stick. A Librarian in the 2014 Convention T-shirt was available at the Con.
* ''Literature/WarriorCats'': Since the characters are all cats, it was only natural that the series would release official plushies once they started selling merch.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' plushies exists. There were plushie toys of ''Zyuranger'' when it was airing (that even appeared in a late episode). And they are even battery powered too!
** And there are some for ''Franchise/PowerRangers'', or at least were.
** Inverted for ''Series/ChikyuuSentaiFiveman'', whereas they introduced plushies of the Fivemen and they occasionally comment on the scenes at times. [[OldShame They're not well-received]].
** Plushies of [[Series/DobutsuSentaiZyuohger Zyumans]] and unmorphed [[Series/UchuSentaiKyuranger Kyurangers]] exist. And now it goes one even after these two!
* There are even plushies for some Franchise/KamenRider series too, culminating in the creation of [[Series/KamenRiderRevice Lovekov]], which debuted after plushies for both Kamen Rider Jeanne and Sakura Igarashi were made for purchase.
* ''Series/DoctorWho'':
** The Adipose from the episode [[Recap/DoctorWhoS30E1PartnersInCrime "Partners in Crime"]] exist. [[http://www.doctorwhotoys.net/adipose.htm There are]] plushie Adipose. (In his memoir ''The Writer's Tale'', Russell T Davies humorously notes he lost an absolute fortune in merchandising by creating the Adipose whilst under contract to the BBC.)
** Soon to come are [[http://www.geekalerts.com/doctor-who-talking-plush-dalek/ plushie Daleks!]] Quite possibly the cutest thing that will ever EXTERMINATE you. Also available is a plushie TARDIS.
* ''Series/{{Angel}}'': Smile Time
** And yes, you [[http://www.amazon.com/Buffy-Vampire-Slayer-Angel-21-Inch/dp/B000FS9GRK/ref=pd_sim_t_1 can get one yourself!]]
** Or of Spike for that matter.
* Odd in-universe example/subversion: In one episode, Earth insists that ''Series/BabylonFive'' put a gift shop on board. The thing that finally kills it is when Ivanova shows Captain John Sheridan a teddy bear dressed up in baseball attire, with a Babylon 5 cap and a baseball uniform listing his name as "Bearbylon" and his number as 5. Sheridan finds it cute, until he sees the initials "JS" stitched to the front. He [[ThrownOutTheAirlock spaces]] the teddy bear posthaste. [[RealitySubtext The bear was a gift to]] Creator/JMichaelStraczynski, [[RealitySubtext from a friend who knew all about JMS's hatred of all things cute and cuddly. The spacing was retribution for the gift.]] And it gets better: said friend was Creator/PeterDavid, whose ''Series/SpaceCases'' subsequently had the crew find the bear and wonder about what sort of person would throw it into space...
* The conveyor belt round in ''Series/TheGenerationGame'' always featured a cuddly toy as one of the items.
* From ''Series/TheBigBangTheory'' comes a plush made out of one of their more [[MemeticMutation Memetacular]] moments: [[http://www.stylinonline.com/big-bang-theory-soft-kitty.html the Soft Kitty!]]
* ''Series/BarneyAndFriends'' centers around a stuffed animal named Barney that kids imagine into a real, adult-sized dinosaur. During its run, many plush versions of him were released, some of which had functions from glowing in the dark to interacting with the television show, VHS tapes and computer games based on the show. There were also plush dolls of Barney's pals Baby Bop and BJ.

[[folder:Music]]
* For electronica fans, Monstercat have a plushie of their mascot [[https://shop.monstercat.com/collections/all-products/products/monstercat-plushie up for grabs]].
* Another music label, Chillhop Music, have a plush of their Raccoon mascot [[https://shop.chillhop.com/collections/accessories/products/raccoon-plushie here]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pro Wrestling]]
* {{Masked luchador}}a Lady Pink is known for taking a plushie masked luchadora everywhere she goes and hugging it tightly when happy.
* Things were most definitely not better in SHINE, but Kimberly thought so. Losing a match with Leva Bates, the only wrestler in SHINE willing to team with Kimberly, when Leva's theme happened to be ''Literature/TheCatInTheHat'', to Made In Sin caused Kimberly [[YouHaveFailedMe to attack Leva]] and rip the head off of Leva's Thing doll. The next year Kimberly found the doll, sewed it back together and promised to destroy [[SelfServingMemory Leva]] for "hurting" it. Kimberly's efforts resulted in Leva putting her in a literal straight jacket, but once Kimberly was illadvisedly let out of it she started collecting Thing dolls, hauling ever larger amounts of them to the ring to share with her opponents. From this we learned ''Wrestling/MercedesMartinez'' had [[TomboyWithAGirlyStreak a soft spot for plushies]], though she refused to accept any from Kimberly, agreeing with Leva that Kimberly was a psychopath[[labelnote:*]]Kimberly had ''some'' kind of empathy and morality, psychopath was a misdiagnosis Leva's part. Still, ''something'' was wrong with her[[/labelnote]].
* Also in SHINE, Wrestling/SoloDarling, who was giving out {{Christmas|Episode}} presents, was given a plushie...that Better Than You cut the head off of [[TheBully before it got to her]].
* [[https://www.instagram.com/p/9e8FeutgKa/ This picture]] from Wrestling/AllysinKay's Instagram shows her with her own Toys/FunkoPop figure.
* Downplayed with Wrestling's Hottest Couple, Ever! (Chasyn Rance & Santana Garrett), who were gifted a masked luchador plushie by a fan at a Barbuda show and considered selling him, as he was taking up too much space on the road (or sea in this case).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Puppet Shows]]
* In ''Series/SesameStreet'', some of the characters have favorite stuffed animals. Big Bird has a teddy bear named Radar, Elmo has a stuffed toy called Baby David, and Julia has a stuffed rabbit named Fluffster. Only Radar was made into a real plush, but there are tons of Sesame Street stuffed animals of most of the main cast available.
* ''Series/TheNoddyShop'': One of the toys in the titular shop is Bonita Flamingo, who is a stuffed carnival toy. Warloworth also is a stuffed weasel that lives in a jack-in-a-box with cute button eyes. None of these characters were made into actual toys, and only the characters from the stories the kids told were made. Oddly enough, the Bumpy Dog plush that appears in some episodes was the actual GUND plush of said character.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Software]]
* Music/{{VOCALOID}} has a lineup of plushies based on the Crypton-produced Vocaloids. Especially of note is Tako Luka, who has ''seven'' different versions, each varying in facial expressions (smile, calm, drooling, etc.)
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tabletop Games]]
* ''TabletopGame/PlueschPowerUndPlunder'' is a German game about [[LivingToys sapient, living plushies]] who have to keep up the {{Masquerade}} from the [[HumansThroughAlienEyes "tramplers"]].
* ''TabletopGame/{{KULT}}'' mentions a ChildProdigy which sometimes gets useful advice from his Teddy (given the background of ''KULT'', this is probably not ConsultingMisterPuppet, but more CreepyDoll).
* One of the final stretch goals of the successful-beyond-all-expectations ''TabletopGame/BattleTech'' Kickstarter was the creation of an Urbanmech plushie, which will be released for sale in 2020.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Toys]]
* The [[Toys/{{Bionicle}} Matoran]] exist. There used to be plushie avatars of them on [[http://www.bzpower.com BZPower]]. Don't know if the plushies still exist though, that was a long time ago.
* Outside of ''BIONICLE'', Franchise/{{LEGO}} have also made [[https://www.lego.com/en-gb/categories/plush-toys plushie versions]] of their various minifigures, with some of their most notable ones being from licences such as ''Franchise/StarWars'', ''Franchise/HarryPotter'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Ninjago}}''.
* Toys/{{Giantmicrobes}} are viruses, bacteria, and other microbes in stuffie form. Scary disease-causing agents are less scary as fluffy plushes!
* For the children, or inner children in the audience, SLAM Buddies create plushie dolls in the likness of professional wrestlers for said wrestlers to then sell to whoever is interested.
* Several ''Franchise/{{Tamagotchi}}'' characters have plushes, including Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi.
* [[http://www.zombierunner.com/store/categories/zombierunner/zombie_stuff/product2058.html Zombie plushies]]
* [[http://blog.wired.com/geekdad/2008/09/the-10-geekiest.html The list of most geeky plushies ever.]]
* Pretty much anything on Toy Vault could qualify but some worth mentioning include [[http://www.toyvault.com/herebemonsters/oop.html monsters]], [[http://www.toyvault.com/swearbears/index.html swear bears]], [[http://www.toyvault.com/egyptian/oop.html Egyptian gods]], and [[http://www.toyvault.com/nightmares/index.html nightmares.]]
* Build-a-Bear shops allow you to choose a toy and help to stuff it yourself. Several other, smaller companies do this as well.
* [[http://www.squishable.com/ Squishables]] are plush toys with a distinct round-bodied design. Animals available range from very common (such as kittens and unicorns) to creatures that can be hard to find in plush form (like jellyfish and sparrows), and fans can vote for which designs will be produced next.
* This trope is the reason Toys/{{Squishmallows}} exists. They are marshmallow shaped (hence the name), and they even make Franchise/DisneyPrincess characters really adorable and huggable too, among others!
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Video Games]]
* Fruitbat Factory, along with Creator/OrangeJuice and collaborating with Symbiote Studios, opened a Website/{{Kickstarter}} campaign to produce ''VideoGame/OneHundredPercentOrangeJuice'' plushies of [[VideoGame/{{SUGURI}} Suguri]] and Marie Poppo. The campaign was ''very'' successful, which was funded within three days and gained much more funding to also produce plushies of Hime, [[VideoGame/QPShooting QP]], [[VideoGame/{{SORA}} Star Breaker and Sora]], and each plushie came with their own set of cards from the game and accessories to boot. Another successful Kickstarter campaign led to plushies of Saki, [[VideoGame/FlyingRedBarrel Marc]], Ceoreparque, Aru, Alte and Tomomo being made. Another campaign, this time consisting of Sumika, Lulu, Kae and Krilalaris, has also been funded.
* ''VideoGame/AmongUs'' plushies exist. Check your local toy store. They even got to appear as hidden collectibles in the ''[[VideoGame/HenryStickminSeries Henry Stickmin]]'' game, ''Completing the Mission''.[[note]]both games were made by the same developer, Puffballs United[[/note]]
* There are also ''VideoGame/AngryBirds'' plushies as well, of every bird and pig in the game! [[http://shop.angrybirds.com/us/toys/plush-toys.html See here.]]
* ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossing'' - there is basically a plush of most, if not all, of the characters in the game, including your neighbors and even your avatar. There's even a jumbo Isabelle plush being made- Japan only unless you're willing to go the import route, of course.
* Virus plushies make an appearance in ''VisualNovel/BrassRestoration''. [[TokenMiniMoe Kouri]] is a big fan, and [[LyricalDissonance cheerfully sings]] their ''theme song'': "We hurt people's bodies, eat their lives, and we go on~"
* These are known as "norndolls" in the ''VideoGame/{{Creatures}}'' fandom. Certain editions of ''Creatures 2'' came with variously colored plush norndolls, but many fans have also made their own, and it was a popular craze within the fandom for a while.
* There have been two plushies made based on ''[[VideoGame/CryptOfTheNecrodancer Crypt of the NecroDancer]]'': the [[https://theindiebox.com/products/crypt-of-the-necrodancer-exclusive-singing-shopkeeper-plush Shopkeeper]] by [=IndieBox=], and [[https://www.fangamer.com/products/cadence-necrodancer-plush Cadence]] by Fangamer.
* ''VideoGame/DewysAdventure'' came with a plushie of the main character for those who preordered the game. Said main character was ''already'' sickeningly adorable, but the plushie just made it more so.
* Inverted with ''VideoGame/DieAnstalt'' - the Flash game is the more recognizable aspect, but the game was created to go with its corresponding plushies, not vice versa.
* The Cacodemon from ''VideoGame/{{Doom}}'' has had two notable plushies made in its honour, namely [[http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Hissy Hissy]] and [[http://ultravioletbat.deviantart.com/art/Pixel-the-Cacodemon-97594332 Pixel]].
* ''Franchise/TheElderScrolls'':
** ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim'': A plushie has been made of the Dragonborn used in promotional materials.

Even freakin' ''[[VideoGame/DarkSouls Artorias]]'' gets a [[https://www.fangamer.com/products/dark-souls-artorias-plush plush]]!
** Not to mention that they've also made some rather... ''odd'' choices for which characters get plushies ([[VideoGame/PizzaTower Peppino]] plush, [[https://www.fangamer.com/collections/pizza-tower/products/pizza-tower-plush-peppino anyone?]]).
** Speaking of which, Fangamer have also collaborated with different companies to bundle their plushies with games such as ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'', ''VideoGame/KatamariDamacy'', ''VideoGame/ShantaeAndTheSevenSirens'' and ''VideoGame/StardewValley'' in the West. The name of these bundles? New Game ''[[{{Pun}} Plush]]''.
* ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder'' has many plushies, some of which are even a {{Defictionalization}} of actual merch in-game like a plushie of [[https://www.aniplexplus.com/itemQJSUDUQp.html Cu Chulainn Alter]]. The one that sticks out most is AdorableAbomination {{Cernunnos}}, which became super popular as the companies capitalized on its memetic cuteness to produce [[https://www.aniplexplus.com/itemdFoqOjPJ.html a fairly big fluffy plushie]] for players to buy relatively soon after its debut.
* ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'':
** Aww [[http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-VII-Children-Sephiroth/dp/B000XYFB6Q plush]] [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII Sephiroth]], you're so ''cute''! You're gonna grow up big and strong and handsome!

** You will kneel before the might of [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyXI Vana'deil's]] [[http://ssl.square-enix-shop.com/usa/detail.php?id=109 baby Chocobos!]]
* Both ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'' games have this InUniverse: on the first game's Android version, you can buy plushie versions of Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy to sit on your desk. The second game has those same plushies at the Prize Counter, and [[spoiler: if you beat one of the custom nights, you can unlock not only those plushies, but toys/plushies of some of the new animatronics as well.]]
** This trope is also used in [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys4 the fourth game]], to [[ZigZaggingTrope varying]] degrees. Playing it straight is the plushies the protagonist owns, who he refers to as "[his] only friends". In fact, the Fredbear plush tries to help him out in between nights. Inverting it is Plushtrap, who can, ''and will'', jumpscare you.
* From ''VideoGame/GenshinImpact'', we have a plushie version of everyone's favourite emergency food rations, Paimon. [[https://www.genshin.shop/products/official-merchandise-genshin-impact-paimon-plushie Doesn't she look cute?]]

They're noted to be extremely rare items created by Nyx, given as gifts as a symbol of sharing a deep bond, and they're used in-game to summon [[AssistCharacter Assist Characters]]. They look like plushies.
* From Valve, we have [[VideoGame/HalfLife Headcrab]] plushies.
** And, in case you crave a little added realism, ''hats''.
** And [[http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=S0201 BOOOOOOOOOOMER!]]
* ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon'' traditionally gives out plushies for [[PreOrderBonus preorders]], traditionally of farm animals or pets available in the game itself (examples include dogs, chickens, sheep, pigs, ducks, pandas, and for the series' 25th anniversary, extra-sized cows). With the split between translator Natsume and developer Marvelous, both successor series in Western markets (Natsume-developed [[VideoGame/HarvestMoonNatsume Harvest Moon]] and Marvelous-developed VideoGame/StoryOfSeasons) are now offering their own preorder plushies.
* While no actual plushies of its characters have been made (at least, not yet), both ''VideoGame/HuniePop'' and [[VideoGame/HuniePop2 its sequel]] feature InUniverse plushies as gifts that can be given to your dates. Their effects run the gamut from converting certain tokens on the field into another type to increasing the passion level depending on how many of a certain kind of token there are on the field.
* Plutia from ''VideoGame/HyperdimensionNeptuniaVictory'' certainly has a thing for plushies, overlapping with GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals. Not only does she make plushies of her friends in her spare time, she also uses them as [[ImprobableWeaponUser weapons in battle]].
** In addition, Idea Factory has a plushie of... the Nepgeardam robot of all things available on their European store [[https://store.iffyseurope.com/collections/plushies/products/mega-nepgeardam here]][[note]]also a case of {{Defictionalization}} since said plush has appeared on an episode of the [[Anime/HyperdimensionNeptuniaTheAnimation anime]][[/note]].

* One of the Clash Quotes in ''VideoGame/Injustice2'' has Harley Quinn clashing with [[BloodyMurder Atrocitus]], and she claims he would make a "darn cute plushie". Atrocitus' response is a bemused and booming ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfDIQy9Kcns "What...is a plushie?!?"]]''
* Plushies for ''Videogame/JitsuSquad'' exists for the four playable heroes but surprisingly there's a ''lot'' of plush toys for the [[MascotMook Emaki Ninjas]].
* Some ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'' characters are available in SuperDeformed plushie form, including the series' resident EldritchAbomination, the Shadow Heartless. Even ''[[BigBad Xemnas]]'' has his own plushie.
** In-universe, in ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsX'', every Keyblade wielder has a Chirithy, a cute feline ExpositionFairy companion. Though it isn't immediately apparent in the game's SuperDeformed art style, later appearances make it obvious that they resemble living plush dolls. This was deliberately invoked by their creator, the Master of Masters, who designed them to be as cute as possible so that their partners would bond with them more easily.
* What's cuter than ''Franchise/{{Kirby}}''? Kirby plushies! [[http://www.toysnjoys.com/kirby/kirby_summeradven_plush.jpg]] [[http://nextlevelgamex.com/wordpress/wp-contnet/uploads/2010/06/DSCN0454.jpg]]. * ''VideoGame/LittleBigPlanet'' is a little bit different about its plushies. See, you play as a Sackboy/girl, who is a living, customizable, and completely adorable plushie. {{Defictionalization}} ahoy!

* The LimitedSpecialCollectorsUltimateEdition of ''VideoGame/NiNoKuni'' for the [=PS3=] came with a plushie of Drippy. Appropriately enough, because he was [[SleepModeSize trapped in the form of a plush doll]] in the beginning of the game (though the plushie itself resembles his "real" form).
* Saffron of ''VideoGame/OneStepFromEden'' has had a plushie of her made. It even appears as a [[MyLittlePanzer hazard]] in her boss fight!
* ''VideoGame/{{osu}}'' once had a plush of its mascot Pippi on its store, [[https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/7yrp85/til_pippi_plushies_were_a_thing_at_some_point/ though it's long since been sold out]][[note]]a more clear picture of it is [[https://twitter.com/pippikawai/status/678772186019192836 here]].[[/note]].
** More recently, the developers have partnered up with Makeship to make ''three'' plushies based on the game. While [[https://www.makeship.com/products/pippi-plush Pippi]], this time based on her more recent design, getting a plush isn't too surprising, the same can't be said for the other two, [[https://www.makeship.com/products/osu-cookie-plush one of which]] is ''the logo for the game'', and the other being... [[https://www.makeship.com/products/taikonator-3000-plush this]].[[note]]For those not in the know, it's a joke mascot that was made for the game's taiko mode as part of its 2016 mascot community vote.[[/note]]
* There are plushies of Teddie from ''VideoGame/Persona4''.
** Are they made from 100% natural Teddie fur?
** There have been plushies of Izanagi and Jiraiya as well. They're cute! ...in a weird way.
** Now there are plushies of Chie, Yukiko and Kanji by Sanshee [[https://sanshee.com/collections/persona-4 here]].
* In some ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' games, you can buy plushies in-game to decorate your character's bedroom/secret base. They have plushies for some of the most unlikely of Pokémon, such as Duskull. The move Substitute depicts a generic monster plush doll as a decoy to take hits for your monsters. [[https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701-04082/whimsicott-s-substitute-poke-plush-25-in You can now buy one of your own]].
** This has extended to in-website purchases (using berries) and monthly giveaways on the Dream World website.
** [[http://www.hobbyvalley.com/poke/pokeimg/pdshadowlugia.jpg They actually combined]] the regular cuteness of plushies with the Pokémon being SuperDeformed. So much {{squee}}.
*** As a quick search on Amazon.com can show, Japan keeps all the good ones (usually from Pokémon Center).
*** America has received some of these hopelessly cute plushies under the name [[PunnyName "Pokédolls"]].
** Bucking the trend of plushes being a small version of a fictional character, there is the hilariously huge [[https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701-06648/furret-poke-plush-71-in life-sized Furret]], 6 feet of adorable smiling fluff. It literally is large enough to require its own side of a bed. That said, the jumbo Furret plush constantly sells out in spite of its $350 asking price (and that's not including shipping). It has since been joined by the fleecy [[https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701-05318/mareep-poke-plush-45-in life-sized Mareep]], the ever-suffering [[https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701-06481/psyduck-poke-plush-31-in life-size Psyduck]] and the life-sized [[https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/701-96380/spheal-poke-plush-39-in Spheal]].
* After many unofficial plushie companion cubes from ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'' (proving the notion of the CompanionCube trope), Creator/{{Valve|Software}} finally released official ones.
** It was likely fan made (though you wouldn't be able to tell), but a plush turret has been [[http://picasaweb.google.com/frambooz/PortalTurret#5151612046806076946 seen]].
** [[http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/e71c/ ThinkGeek has a Portal turret plush]].
* Back during Creator/{{Compile}}'s run with the ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' series, plushies of characters such as Arle, Carbuncle, Suketoudara, Witch and Satan were made. One such Arle plush had a rather unflattering appearance, complete with KubrickStare, to the point that it would become a [[MemeticMutation meme]].
** SEGA themselves have also made plushies of their own, usually consisting of the [[MascotMook Puyos]].
* ''VideoGame/RaidouKuzunohaVsKingAbaddon'' comes with a plushie of Raiho, the adorable (and very popular) fourth-wall-breaking BonusBoss of [[VideoGame/RaidouKuzunohaVsTheSoullessArmy the first game]], as a preorder bonus. Fans are so excited about this plushie that many people have joked that it's "a plushie that comes with a free game" rather than the other way around.
** Plushie Raiho is also limited to the first print of the game. The deluxe packages are numbered, and Atlus won't reveal how many there are (though enthusiastic buyers have confirmed that there are over 40 thousand in circulation). It also won't be sold separately.
* Everyone from ''VideoGame/SamuraiShodown 2'' has the ability to turn into immobile small plushie versions of themselves, complete with a keychain. These were actually there to act as a tie-in for Creator/{{SNK}}'s keychain dolls that were made for their crane machines.
* Similarly to Fangamer, there's [[https://sanshee.com/ Sanshee]], who make plushies based on characters from games such as ''VideoGame/FreedomPlanet'', ''VideoGame/StardewValley'' and ''VideoGame/{{Skullgirls}}''.
* Plushies of ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight'' and his supporting cast have been made, such as [[https://www.symbiotestudios.com/shovel-knight this one by Symbiote Studios]] (alongside the Enchantress and Black Knight) and [[https://www.fangamer.com/products/shovel-knight-plush one by Fangamer]].

* There are possibly hundreds of ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' plushies out there, because who doesn't to hug a BadassAdorable InkblotCartoonStyle {{Amazing Technicolor| Wildlife}} AnimalSuperhero? ** On a related note, the Yarn Yoshi and Yarn Poochy Toys/{{amiibo}} figures from the ''VideoGame/YoshisWoollyWorld'' line are plushies woven from yarn, instead of being made of plastic like the majority of other amiibo figures. There's even a much larger version in the [[https://www.nintendo.com/amiibo/detail/mega-yarn-yoshi-amiibo-yoshis-woolly-world-series Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo]], which is about the size of an average teddy bear.
* And for ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'', Valve presented the [[http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=4558&p=2 sticky bomb plushie]].
** In addition, several in-game examples exist: a teddy bear with a hard hat, overalls, and smoked goggles for the Engineer; a plush Medic for the Heavy and Soldier; an enemy-team-colored Spy voodoo doll for the Engineer; and a pair of [[GoodAngelBadAngel shoulder angels]] for the Pyro.

* There are numerous Yogg-Saron plushies made by fans who took a liking to him. Yogg-Saron does seem to have an odd kind of popularity among ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' players.
* A worrying trend, and a popular fan-project (likely due to the simple design of the character), among fans of ''VideoGame/YumeNikki'' is to make plushies of [[EldritchAbomination Ub]][[HellIsThatNoise o]][[ScareChord a]]. Nothing quite like cuddling with an eldritch terror.

* ''WebAnimation/DSBTInsaniT'': Bear is a living a teddy bear.
* The first ''Webanimation/{{RWBY}}'' plush was a Pyrrha whose unflattering looks becoming a meme - creators Creator/RoosterTeeth fired some of them out of a hot dog cannon during a convention, and after a joke on the plush during a ''Webanimation/{{RWBY Chibi}}'' episode, [[https://store.roosterteeth.com/products/rwby-pyrrha-12-plush its name on the store is "The Great One"]]. (''Chibi'' itself also inspired mini plushies for the four protagonists and one for Ruby's dog Zwei). * ''Website/AlternateHistoryDotCom'' once started the Sealion World Tour (still going on in 2010). The members send a plush sealion named [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Sealion]] from one member to another, who'll take pictures and post them on the forum. At the moment, Sealion has already visited three continents (North America, Europe, Asia) and about a dozen different countries. And South America is where he is now.
* [=BGroup=] is currently collecting donations to fund the creation of a talking plush version of the demonic main character of their Reincarnation series.
* [[HumanoidAbomination Rather disturbingly]], a plushie for [[Website/SCPFoundation SCP-096]] has been successfully funded on Makeship, as seen [[https://www.makeship.com/products/scp-096-plush here]]. Hopefully seeing this thing's mug won't cause the real one to [[ImplacableMan chase you down]] and [[YouDoNotWantToKnow do God knows what to you]]...
** And now 096 has been joined by [[https://www.makeship.com/products/scp-939 SCP-939]]. You know, the skinless, hound-like creatures that hunt their prey by mimicking the voices of their latest victims? Doesn't it look [[AdorableAbomination adorable]], with its puppy-like looks?
* The [[https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/dont-turn-me-into-marketable-plushies "Don't Turn Me Into Marketable Plushies"]] meme mocks this trope, in which a character pleads to not be turned into a plushie, but gets turned into one against their will.
* ''Wiki/{{Uncyclopedia}}'' satirizes this trope with [[https://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/Plushies their page on plushies]], depicting them as savage, barbaric aliens from another planet bent on galactic domination.
* Would you believe that ''VideoGame/SonicExe'' has plush toys too? Granted, making a Sonic.exe plush isn't ''hard'' (take a standard Sonic plush, colour its eyes black and red, paint blood on it, done), but they've existed - non-officially, obviously - ever since the 2010's. And the odd thing is, [[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L5MYV1B/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=sspa_mw_detail_0&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams a lot of them]] [[https://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Plush-Hedgehog-Multicolor-Figures/dp/B09XXH3TG8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=26Z8FACX0BCSR&keywords=sonic.exe&qid=1652738880&sprefix=sonic.e%2Caps%2C209&sr=8-5&th=1 aren't that bad]].

* ''WebVideo/PotterPuppetPals'':
* Creator/LittleKuriboh of ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries'' likes to have a Yami plushie pretend to be Creator/DanGreen, and play him as a grown up 10-year-old, including thinking GirlsHaveCooties.
* JustForFun/TheWarOfTheAbridgedSeriesCreators features loads of plushies for the respective shows.
* ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' Youtube Spoof: Avatar The Last Puppetbender
* Similarly to Custom Plush, there's [[https://www.makeship.com/ Makeship]], which features plushies that can be funded in Kickstarter-esque campaigns to make them a reality, though these ones require a mere 200 units to be fully funded as opposed to 500. Content creators such as [[WebVideo/GuruLarryAndWez Larry Bundy Jr.]], WebVideo/MauLer and WebVideo/MattMcMuscles have already jumped on the bandwagon to make plushies of themselves, their avatars and their characters.

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* There have been numerous ''WesternAnimation/ChipNDaleRescueRangers'' plushies, but plushie-sized figurines of Monterey Jack and Gadget have only ever been made once. These figurines made by Applause aren't even true plushies with their vinyl heads and paws, and Gadget doesn't contain a square inch of plush at all; nevertheless, it's known as "the Gadget plushie". But since these figurines have ceased to be manufactured long ago, and since there isn't any alternative, it is her who is the most expensive by far. Chip and Dale as Rescue Rangers can still be acquired as true plushies at every Disney theme park, though.
* In-universe, we see a binome with a Guardian Bob plushie in one of the later seasons of ''WesternAnimation/ReBoot''.
* Another in-universe example: Heloise on ''WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes'' has several Jimmy plushies as part of her StalkerShrine.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyG3'' has some, mostly made by companies sub-licensed by Hasbro themselves, then sold under Hasbro's own name.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' has a number of plushies, and before there were very many, there were already many fans capable of making plushies of their own. While the fans' plushies are of course a whole lot more show accurate, and while they're based on several variations of characters ranging from the [[HoldYourHippogriffs Mane Six]] to background ponies and even Creator/LaurenFaust's pony avatar herself, they're also handmade one-of-a-kind pieces, and if they're sold, it's for very high prices. One fan is famous for making high-quality plushies of the main characters in their Gala dresses which include embroidered eyes and cutie marks and which sell for four-digit prices.
** In fact, while embroidered eyes and cutie marks have started in the fandom, as have manes and tails show-accurately modeled in one piece, this has mostly been taken over by the commercial plushie making companies.
** Typical from merchandising overload, there's no less than 4 companies making officially licensed [=FiM=] plushes (Funrise, Nici, Build-A-Bear Workshop and Aurora). There may be more. The first wave of plushes were also made by companies sub-licensed through Hasbro and sold under Hasbro's own name.
** At larger German and a few other European brony events including the [=GalaCon=] [[FanConvention convention]], so-called "[=PlushieCons=]" are becoming a tradition. They're organized gatherings of usually dozens upon dozens of pony plushies, both commercial and fan-made, which are put on display together in a room or hall. Comparatively many bronies attend these events in company of at least one plushie anyway, so they can check them in early and get them back the next day after [=PlushieCon=].\\
Just to give you some impressions of [=PlushieCon=]: The one at [=GalaCon=] is slowly approaching 700 plushies. [[https://www.derpibooru.org/949401 This]] was [=PlushieCon=] at 2015 [=GalaCon=], [[https://www.derpibooru.org/1557307 this]] was it in 2017. You may also want to check out [[https://www.equestriadaily.com/2017/08/galacon-2017-retrospective.html Equestria Daily's report on 2017 GalaCon]]: 665 plushies at [=PlushieCon=], and there were still plushies in the audience.
** In 2012, the demand for plushies was so high (before almost everyone had at least one) that it took two vendors at [=GalaCon=] with only 400 congoers [[DemandOverload less than 15 minutes to sell all of their more than two dozen plushies]]. There were more plushies in 2013, but even these sold out quickly.
** How about Music/AliceCooper [[https://www.derpibooru.org/956641 meeting himself as a pony plushie]]?
** InUniverse example: "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E3CastleSweetCastle Castle Sweet Castle]]" [[AscendedFanon confirmed fan theories]] that Spike has his own Rarity plushie.
* Plushies of the main six from ''WesternAnimation/{{Recess}}'' were made back in 1998-2001 with two sets. One was made by Creator/{{Mattel}} in 1998, and were sold at Toys "R" Us, K.B. Toys, Target, and Walmart, among others. Another set was made by Disney Consumer Products in 1999 and were only sold at The Disney Store (and some stores in the Disney Parks). The differences between the two were that the Mattel ones had vinyl heads, which the Disney ones didn't and were all plush, and that The Disney Store ones were ''much'' more expensive.
* Like ''Recess'' above, the Disney version of ''WesternAnimation/{{Doug}}'' also had two sets of plushies; one by Creator/{{Mattel}} and one by Disney Consumer Products. The only characters made were Doug, Patti, Skeeter, and Porkchop. Herman from ''Doug's 1st Movie'' was also sold at Walmart for a little while.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheRealGhostbusters'' included a hand-puppet of Slimer and a large plushie of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man (inevitable, really) among its figurines, vehicles, and role-play props.
* Plushies based on ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'''s main four boys as well as other characters have been made.
* There's probably dozens of ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'' plush that exist at the moment, and while most are Beanie Babies, there are some made by Mattel, Nanco, Build a Bear, Fisher Price, Jakks Pacific, and Just Play that were (or are currently), on shelves in local toy stores.
* In ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'', each of the babies has a favorite stuffed animal. Tommy has a lion named Henry, Chuckie has a bear named Wawa and Kimi has Superthing. There were also stuffed dolls of the babies themselves as well as Reptar, including some that had special functions like talking or color changing in water.
* ''WesternAnimation/MagicAdventuresOfMumfie'' had stuffed animals that are rather hard to find of Mumfie, Scarecrow and Pinkey. Mumfie was made in three sizes, Pinkey was made in two sizes and Scarecrow was made in just one size. Given that the original source material of the cartoon was about a stuffed elephant who was sent to the human world, this would be considered a {{Defictionalization}}.
* The ''WesternAnimation/{{VeggieTales}}'' silly song "Endangered Love" shows Larry watching the titular sitcom featured in the song with a plush of his favorite character, Barbara Manatee.

* Gamestop has now released a plushie of their bunny mascot. It even has a voice chip in it.
* Any animal or popular fictional creature can have a plushie. They don’t have to be soft and fluffy in real life, like a mammal.
** Plushies of marine animals also exist, including octopuses, orcas, and ''sharks''. Just do a google search to see for yourself.
** There are even plushies of reptiles. [[ReptilesAreAbhorrent Go Figure.]] The same goes for amphibians and bugs.
** Also extinct creatures. Dinosaur and mammoth plushies are a staple of museum gift shops, but if you look in the right places you can also find things like [[https://www.priweb.org/index.php/ppals-home Palaeozoic Pals]] - yes, that link isn't fooling you, you can buy cuddly stuffed animals of the critters that existed before the dinosaurs and show them all the love they deserve.
* Manhattan Toy Company used to make a line of plush vehicles which you can ride on (and sleep with if that’s your kind of thing). They’re quite rare nowadays tho.
* There are plushies based on [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos the monsters from Lovecraft.]] Evil has never looked so cute.
* Way back in the '80s and 90s, most of the major stores that had mascots usually sold plushies. For example, a (long-defunct) hardware store called "Handy Andy" once sold 12"-tall dolls of Andy himself. Also, at some point in the mid-90s, Empire Carpet [[note]]now Empire Today[[/note]] offered a plush version of the Empire Carpet Man as a call/mail-in premium!
* Several 99 p and Dollar type stores sell plush vehicles for children and sometimes includes things such as a Plush Abrams style MAIN BATTLE TANK.
* [=SpaceX's=] maiden launch of their Crew Dragon capsule sent a "super high-tech microgravity indicator" (a plush of the Earth that would start floating around the cabin in space) up to the space station. It was named Little Earth, and it stayed in space when the capsule came home.

Plushies are not a trope on their own. You may be looking for one of has a plushie toy based on it, especially in Japan when it comes to {{Anime}} and VideoGame the following:

* GirlsLoveStuffedAnimals: A work giving female
characters (minor or major). These can be official or fan made.

Although they are mostly toys, they are still featured on shows, especially fan made works.

Can overlap with MisaimedMarketing if the work wasn't aimed at children to begin with or MadeOfExplodium if the InUniverse plushies are explosive.

And they're simply... um... adorable?

They were quite possibly from [[http://www.nasseh-ya.com/ here]] several years ago.
* There are commercially available plushie versions of the [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog]] and the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. As well as the Black Knight, with Velcro limbs.

* There is now a Phantom of the Opera plushie created by Chérie Shulter and El Gibbs. They are true to [[Literature/ThePhantomOfTheOpera the original book]] by Gaston Leroux and are adorable to true "phans" and slightly strange to others.
** An earlier Phantom plushie was one of the monsters in the ''Universal Monsters'' line of "beanies." His mask was separate from his face, but its nose was "stuffed," and he lacked a "real" nose underneath!

* Downplayed with Wrestling's Hottest Couple, Ever! (Chasyn Rance & Santana Garrett), who were gifted a masked luchador plushie by a fan at a Barbuda show and considered selling him, as he was taking up too much space on the road (or sea in this case).

* ''Series/TheNoddyShop'': One of the toys in the titular shop is Bonita Flamingo, who is TheMerch: Merchandise released as tie-ins for works.
* SecurityBlanket: An item, which could be
a stuffed carnival toy. Warloworth also is a stuffed weasel animal, that lives in a jack-in-a-box with cute button eyes. None provides comfort or security to its owner.
* ToyBasedCharacterization: The use
of these characters were made into actual toys, and only toys as a storytelling device for characters.

If a direct wick has led you here, please correct
the characters from the stories the kids told were made. Oddly enough, the Bumpy Dog plush link so that appears in some episodes was it points to the actual GUND plush of said character.

* Good Smile have released plushies of ''VideoGame/SlimeRancher'''s slimes through their "For Fans By Fans" division, as seen [[https://www.goodsmileus.com/fandom/slime-rancher-178 here]]. There are also ones for the Hen Hen, Roostro and Chickadoo and even one for the [[CuteMachines Drone]].
** InUniverse, some of the Slime Toys you can give to your slimes also happen to be plushies based on certain things related to their type, such as the Buzzy Bee[[note]]a stuffed bee for Honey Slimes[[/note]], the Stuffed Chicken[[note]]a [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin stuffed chicken]] for Hunter Slimes[[/note]], the Sol Mate[[note]]a plush sun for Tangle Slimes[[/note]] and the Stego Buddy[[note]]a stegosaurus plush for Saber Largos[[/note]].

There are even one or two of Dr. Eggman. Disappointingly there isn't an official {{defictionalization}} of the in game plushie of the Tails Doll from ''VideoGame/SonicR''.

* ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' plushies. Also Peach, Bowser, Wario, Yoshi, Koopas, Shy Guys, Goombas, [[OverlyLongGag Boos]]... Just run a search on Amazon for them.

** An official plush of Madotsuki has been made by Fangamer, as seen [[https://www.fangamer.com/products/yume-nikki-madotsuki-plush here]]. Doesn't she look cute, brandishing her knife like that?

* ''WebAnimation/DSBTInsaniT'': Bear is a living a teddy bear.

(''Chibi'' itself also inspired mini plushies for the four protagonists and one for Ruby's dog Zwei). Plushies of the main series version of team RWBY also exist in both their Beacon and TimeSkip outfits.
* Rooster Teeth also made plushies out of Caboose from ''WebAnimation/RedVsBlue'', ORF from ''Webanimation/XRayAndVav'' and the platypus from ''Webanimation/CampCamp''.

* ''Webcomic/BrawlInTheFamily'' has the [[http://brawlinthefamily.com/images/dollpic02.jpg Dededoll]], {{defictionaliz|ation}}ed after just 2 appearances in the comic. It's that cute.
* ''Webcomic/{{Goblins}}'' has a plushy Big Ears, complete with Axe. This has led to some fan speculation as to what a plushy Kore would be like.
* ''Webcomic/{{Erfworld}}'' has a [[ColorCodedForYourConvenience wide range]] of dwagon plushies. They're cute, just like [[CrapsaccharineWorld the vicious croaking machines]] depicted in the comic.
* ''Webcomic/TheFuzzyFive'' started off with plushies and then became a pretty good webcomic.
* ''Webcomic/{{Bomango}}'': In [[http://vanheist.deviantart.com/art/laughter-in-the-dollhouse-166716595?q=gallery%3AVanHeist%2F3749890&qo=154 a (fake) ad]] for [[TheMerch plushies]], [[PolarOppositeTwins Didi and Gogo]] are given talking plushies based off of themselves. * On ''Website/{{Neopets}}'' there were plushie versions of the paint brushes. There is even a paint brush that turns neopets into plushies. It is very expensive. Also just about everything and everyone in Neopets, from the RealLife founders, to various kinds of food both in the real world and on the site.
* And finally, for all you NewMedia creators out there who want to get in on the game, [[http://www.customplush.com CustomPlush.com]] is here to serve all your squeezable [[TheMerch Merch]] needs! They require a minimum run of 500 units, so this is definitely for creators, not fans.
* You can collect plushies of just about anything in Website/{{Subeta}}. Pets, pies, poop (no seriously), potions...
