Even the Girls Want Her

Phoenix: She must have some sort of strange power over [men].
Maya: You're not kidding. Two people in one day. Even I want to profess my love for her.

When a guy is so studly and great that he inspires worship and desire in both women and men, it's Even the Guys Want Him. But when a female character's female fan club matches or exceeds her male fan club, you've stumbled upon the slightly rarer but still prominent Distaff Counterpart: Even The Girls Want Her.

Mostly an anime trope (especially in Girls Love works), the "her" in question is often an aloof-seeming, athletic high school student who is pursued by every sports club in school, and has the guys crooning "So hot!" as she goes past, and the girls squealing "So cool!" as she goes past (none of these are a hard-and-fast requirement, but most of the examples will pick and choose at least one or two items off the "menu" of aloofness, athletic ability, and "cool" beauty). She will often get chocolates from other girls on Valentine's Day (which is Serious Business in Japan).

This illustrates the major difference between the gender versions of this trope. The male "admirers" in the case of Even the Guys Want Him often mingle equal amounts jealousy, anger, or frustration into their admiration, often due to Stupid Sexy Flanders. But perhaps due to the concept of the Romantic Two-Girl Friendship, the female admirers in the case of Even The Girls Want Her rarely display any negative connotations to their admiration (or attraction). They'll follow the cool girl around like a pack of lovesick puppies, and never think twice about it. The Love Interest of said girl (be male or female) might be more likely to elicit said reactions, though, but that's a case-by-base scenario. Sometimes, though, said love interest becomes the focus of ire of the fan club as they're not worthy.

Though in some versions, there may be a bit of the Double Standard at work in why females don't seem to bother feeling bad about their crushes or attraction to other girls. In most of the western world, to a great extent a girl finding another girl attractive is "hot" and mainly for male consumption.

This refers specifically to otherwise straight women and girls falling for a woman; if her admirers already liked the ladies, it doesn't count.

Also, if the woman is initially liked by only other women despite there also being men they qualify as Only Has Same-Sex Admirers.

May overlap with Bifauxnen, Cool Big Sis, The Fashionista, Onee-sama, (sometimes) The Ojou, and Aloof Dark-Haired Girl.

If her "admirers" include much younger characters as well as both sexes, she may be a Stacy's Mom. If the character is intersex, then it becomes Everybody Wants the Hermaphrodite.

    Anime & Manga
  • Reika "Madame Butterfly" Ryuuzaki from Aim for the Ace! is an early example of the Aloof Dark-Haired Girl Onee-sama that everyone wants to be or be with. The Les Yay undertones may not have strictly been on purpose, but they're still there.
  • In Alice Academy, this is Yuri's Alicenote : Making girls want her while they're in her presence. She also hates it more than anything, especially since she can't prevent it.
  • Ukraine of Axis Powers Hetalia is very popular with a large portion of the female fanbase, This actually appears in-comic when Liechtenstein ends up blushing while admiring Ukraine's traditional clothing and Hungary teases her, telling her to wear an incredibly Stripperiffic dress.
    • According to Sealand and Latvia desktop mascots, Belarus has written in her journal that she spent 3 hours massaging Ukraine's breasts. This implies even Ukraine's sister, who has a Single-Target Sexuality towards Russia, wants her.
    • During the 2013 Halloween event, Taiwan is instantly drawn to Ukraine's beauty, even completely distracting her away from a conversation with Belarus.
  • Azumanga Daioh: In episode 4, Kaorin and one of her friends fangirl over Sakaki, while watching her change for gym class, with both agreeing she was cooler than most of the guys at their school. While a later episode had her being followed by a different group of girls, who took turns gushing about her height, her figure, the fact that she's the fastest runner on the track team, and how awesome she is all-around. Then squeed and had to hug themselves with hearts floating above their heads.
  • Baccano!: Sylvie Lumiere. Sylvie attracts quite a bit of attention on the Exit, from men and women alike.
  • In Berserk, Casca gets quite a few squeeing fangirls in the victory parade after the Battle of Doldrey.
    • The count's wife had his love and during a pagan orgy she was in a woman willingly hugs her from behind while both are naked and plants kisses on her back which makes the counts wife aroused.
    • Jill has the interest of a male friend and several woman get intimate with her during an orgy.
  • Best Student Council: President Jinguuji Kanade is the object of most of the girls' devotion and affection, taken further with the amount of Les Yay in the show.
  • Kinko Echigoya from Binbou Shimai Monogatari receives a lot of admiration and love from her fellow female classmates.
  • Maylene from Black Butler is subject to some blatant Les Yay when Nina Hopkins is around (which includes Nina kissing her, hugging her, and openly groping her breasts and thighs with some heavy breathing sound effects and hearts). Also, in the behind the scenes episode Ran-Mao strips Maylene of her maid outfit and straddles her and has them switch clothing before she gropes her breasts and thighs.
    • Also Angelina "Madame Red" Durless. Grell, a male to female transsexual, was in love with her before she killed her.
    • Elizabeth has Nina kiss her in chapter 37 while releasing a heart and she says that Elizabeth is as lovely as always.
  • Bleach
  • If you're a girl in Blood+, you may find yourself compelled to crawl into bed with Saya Otonashi...
  • Bubblegum Crisis: Sylvie was hot enough that Priss took a liking to her almost instantly, to where they were heavily implied to be an item. When Linna and the others finally met her, they told her Priss couldn't stop talking about her and said they could see why. Justified because, unbeknownst to them, Sylvie was a Sexroid.
Linna: (gushing) "If I were a man, I'd make a pass at you myself!"
Sylvie: (smiles sheepishly) "Umm... thanks. I think."
  • Tokiko from Busou Renkin. Kazuki's sister is a little too "hands on" toward her.
  • Cardcaptor Sakura: Sakura has the attentions of both Syaoran and Tomoyo. She probably inherited it from her mother, who was the subject of a tremendous (unrequited) crush by Tomoyo's mother.
    • Not to mention Kaho, who Sakura seems to 'admire' greatly and is described as really, really pretty.
  • The Case Study of Vanitas: Manet has a moment where she appears to be questioning her sexuality due to Dominique's charms. Domi also flirts and dances with Joanne in chapter 13 and Vanitas himself is in love with Joanne.
  • At least one schoolgirl in Code Geass competed for Milly Ashford's kiss in one episode. Also, Euphemia who, as someone aptly stated, is lusted after by all Psycho Lesbians in Britannia. While Nina's love for Euphie was open and blatant it's been often wondered if her older sister Cornelia secretly has feelings for her as well.
    • Shirley Fennette was also fairly popular in this regard as well. The only one amongst the student council whom sexually harasses her is Milly Ashford due to how Milly does enjoy fondling Shirley's breasts every now & then. There is also on how Shirley did once get to kiss Lelouch but it turns out to be Sayoko in disguise.
  • Chief Guard Makina of Deadman Wonderland. Kasuga Kyouko has a big crush on her.
  • Ren from DearS. She has subtext with Neneko who also gropes Ren as soon as she meets her, she has subtext plus a opening-credits kiss with Miu, and then Mitsuka-sensei says to her at one point "I don't care if you're a girl, that body was made for love!" Also, she gets several fangirls at school who constantly urge her to leave Takeya and hang out with them instead.
  • Death Note: Misa Amane is a gorgeous model, and the first time Light's sister Sayu sees her, she says, "She's my type!" and pretty much goes gaa-gaa over her. Later, it's revealed that even Rem, her Shinigami not only loves her, but is willing to die for her. Of course, she's Lightsexual, and Light has no romantic interest in anyone whatsoever that we can tell, so All Love Is Unrequited there.
    • In episode 15, upon spotting Misa a lot of girls crowd around her saying things like "Oh, she's so cute!" and "I'm your biggest fan!"
  • In Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z, tomboy Kaoru's first appearance is that of her escaping in a badass manner from hordes of what seems to be most of the female population in her school.
  • Descendants of Darkness: Chizuru. Self-identified lesbian Rika seems to have a thing for her.
  • Detective Conan: If we take Sara Masumi's "She's my type!" comment and Sonoko's Ambiguously Bi moments towards her in account, then Ran Mouri definitely qualifies as this.
  • Celty Sturlusen from Durarara!! manages to pull this without even having a head or a face.
    • Also, Vorona. Mairu definitely wants a piece of her.
  • Princess Leonmitchelli of Dog Days. After suffering Clothing Damage following a fight against Leaf, a shot shows that a large number of her subjects (male and female) have hearts in their eyes.
  • Fairy Tail
    • Erza Scarlett has hoards of men and Lucy Heartfilia swooning when they see her in action.
    • Lucy herself has tons of Les Yay with other girls and in the anime, Levy wouldn't mind seeing her butt.
    • Mirajane Strauss is said to have captured the hearts of men and woman across the land, and Lucy openly drools over her bikini magazine photos.
  • In The Familiar of Zero, Louise had gotten kissed by girls more often than she had by boys. Not to mention the number of times she is subjected to Marshmallow Hell by some of the show's bustier characters. Also in the third season Kirche seems to have developed an intense liking for her and in the opening for the fourth season there's a part where a new purple haired girl named Janette hugs a struggling Louise close and licks her face. And in episode 2 of the fourth season Janette licks Louise on the face again and practically flirts with her calling her "cute and innocent".
    • Not to mention Tiffania (who has the biggest Gag Boobs out of all the girls in the series) who gains about three female admirers by the end of the third season, and before that said female admirers tended to fawn over their token princess.
    • Or Tabitha. Kirche really adores her and fawns over her. Also, Irukukwu "Sylphid" is very affectionate towards Tabitha, her "Onee-sama", and fawns over her.
  • Tohru Honda of Fruits Basket. Hanajima Saki's and Arisa Uotani's affections for her seem to go much deeper than simple sisterly friendship. There's also the Les Yay she gets with other girls.
  • Teletha "Tessa" Testarossa gets this reaction when she introduces herself to Kaname's high school class in Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. All the guys go "WOOOAH!" while all the girls cry "Oh she's so cute!" with accompanying love hearts. Melissa Mao also appears to have some attraction towards Tessa.
    • And Melissa Mao. During her time on the submarine, Kaname thinks about how cool and sexy Mao is.
  • Nagisa Misumi from Futari wa Pretty Cure, who is the star lacrosse player of the school team and regularly gets love letters from fangirls. The boys are not nearly as interested in her as are the girls, because there are much more beautiful girls in the school - and that is actually very disappointed for poor Nagisa. Enter her Romantic Two-Girl Friendship with Honoka Yukishiro, aka Ms. Smart and Gorgeous. The two girls then start to draw the attention of each other's fanclub to themselves as well.
  • Hinata from Future Diary. Mao, is not-so-secretly in love with her - she can't stop looking at/thinking about/lusting after/recording in a diary Hinata's impressive bust (for a 14-year-old).
  • Haine from The Gentlemen's Alliance. Ushio has feelings for her.
  • Motoko Kusanagi of Ghost in the Shell inspires this to some degree in canon (between multiple adaptations having three male love interests, one genderless love interest, and two girls who may or may not be her girlfriends the entire time) but is most notable for doing this to the 'fandom'.
  • Girls Bravo: Kirie and Miharu. In the anime Kosame develops a Psycho Lesbian-type attraction towards Kirie after she fights her. Also, Hijiri has been obsessed with Miharu since childhood but after being defeated by Kirie in a fight she starts lusting after her instead. They both express their affections towards Kirie by resorting to attempted Black Comedy Rape. A number of boys in her school are also infatuated with Kirie and Miharu, especially Fukuyama. One episode showed that Kirie couldn't even walk down the street without guys crowding around her, to ask her out on a date and the like.
    • On one occasion Kirie lampshades this by complaining that she's akin to "catnip for lesbians".
  • Rei from Glass Mask has a huge group of female fans swooning over. Of course, that's mostly because she keeps getting mistaken for a man.
  • Gokujou Drops: Yukio with her fan club and Komari with her Unwanted Harem.
  • Tail Red from Gonna be the Twin-Tail!! is universally fawned over by guys and girls alike. Made more complicated by the fact that Tail Red's normal form is a guy.
  • Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun: Reika. Ryoko really enjoys molesting Reika and dragging her off, despite Reika's protests that she doesn't swing that way. This is also played with in regards to Shinobu, a maid of Reika's, who greatly adores Reika and thinks Shungo is not worthy of Reika, and is always trying to "execute" him.
    • Also, Mayu. One of Hinako's favorite hobbies, other than sexually harassing Shungo, appears to be skinship groping Mayu.
  • Kazumi Amano from GunBuster is one of the all time reps of this trope. She's the star student (and pilot candidate) at her high school (an all-girls school yet), she defends those in need, she gives advice to her juniors, and everyone just knows she's going to be picked for the big space mission so they actually fight duels over who gets to go with her. In the last episode, all the students at her old school (where she had been teaching) cry over her leaving.
  • In Haruhi Suzumiya, Mikuru is constantly and lovingly described as beautiful by Kyon, and both Haruhi and Tsuruya like her a lot.
    • Yuki Nagato as well as Kyon expresses attraction to her, and Mikuru and Ryoko are shown to adore her. Mikuru once said she'd date Yuki if she was a boy and Ryoko goes Yandere for her in the movie.
  • Hinagiku Katsura of Hayate the Combat Butler gets a massive pile of chocolate on Valentine's Day... the day that, in Japan, is set aside for girls to give chocolate to the boys they like. Miki remarks that it's because she's so much cooler than the boys in their school, then offers up her own chocolates.
    • Nishizawa admits to being slightly attracted by her in a hot springs moment.
    • After consistent implications of Miki's attraction to Hina, she finally gets a chapter focused on her where her affections are made much more obvious, though still unstated.
    • Not even Chiharu is immune. After spending the day alone with Hinagiku in Kyoto, in an unusually teasing mood no less, the two are in the baths at the inn together, where Chiharu became very dodging about just why she wore her glasses into the bath...and then proceeded to stare, blush, and lose the ability to speak coherently as she watched Hina get into the bath right in front of her.
  • Hone-Onna from Hell Girl: The Cauldron of Three has female students "admire" her so much that one of them even tried to send Ichimoku Ren to hell because they were mistaken for lovers. Not withstanding all the Les Yay earlier in the series between Honne-Onna and Enma Ai.
  • Azumi Yamada from Hen. Chizuru Yoshida has quite a sweet crush on her and is more than willing to make an exception for her despite being heterosexual.
  • Sae of Hidamari Sketch: If we go by the anime, she had received Valentines' chocolates from girls when she was in junior high.
  • Akira from Kaguya Hime fits this trope to a T. Very athletic and tough, she can oscillate between a Bifauxnen and an extremely sexy and well-endowed young lady, thus getting crushes from boys, girls, and creepy older women. When she eventually goes out with Yui, a somewhat cat-like androgynous boy, her Yandere stepsister Mayu comments that they look like a gay couple. Then again, gender confusion is one of the main themes of the manga.
  • Natsuru Senou of Kämpfer is a case of this in the third episode. Mostly this is exaggerated during the episode when he is transferred over to the girls side and the episode where they prepare for the beauty contest, but some after, she is barraged by girls in her class who want to get together with her. Kaede Sakura continually wants to date her, and subsequently hates him as a male.
  • Chikane Himemiya in Kannazuki no Miko has a strong female fanbase; there's a Girl Posse that dedicate themselves to her and would go as far as to bully Himeko, who seems to get all her attention. Naturally, this doesn't sit well with either her or Souma.
  • Kashimashi has Tomari where, especially in the anime, it seems that only the girls want her. "I was surrounded by reporters, and just when I thought it was all over... Tomari-chan leapt to my rescue!" "KYAAAAA!"... "Tomari is so cool sometimes that she makes my heart skip a beat." "She's even received love letters from girls before." "Ah, my wonderful prince." "I'm also attracted to you." "She's like a prince!"
    • Everyone, regardless of sex, species, or relation, wants Hazumu.
    • Hazumu also has the love of a (female) spaceship.
  • Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple: A quick glance at the background of this page indicates that it's not just guys who enjoy Rachel Stanley's awesome figure.
  • Madoka Ayukawa from Kimagure Orange Road is a tough and highly attractive girl who is wanted (and sometimes feared) by lots of males... and TWO very persistent females: Kyōsuke's psychic cousin Akane and one-episode character Shiori from the anime.
  • Mio from K-On! has this effect on girls, both outside of the music club as within. Although we aren't told at first her fanclub is this at first (it's only implied that the school is girls only), the second season makes it clearly a case.
  • Lia de Beaumont from Le Chevalier d'Eon has won the hearts of men, women, kings, queens, and not to mention siblings.
  • Motoko Aoyama from Love Hina has a trio of girls who follow her around, begging for her attention, ganging up on anyone who says anything negative about her, and — on at least one occasion — being upset with her because she spends so much time in male company (since Keitaro moved in).
  • Although it's not a major plot point, it's commented that Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth has a lot of other girls at her school interested in her in the manga's opening. Some of the girls in the series proper seem pretty interested in her, too.
  • Fate Testarossa of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha seems to have this going on during the second season, though it's more obvious in the manga. Not only do we see a number of girls in the class clustering around her talking about how great she is, but when Arisa gets a smile from her, she blushes and muses that it's easy to see why Nanoha likes her so much.
    • Nanoha might have Fate beat when it comes to this, considering the number of people she's befriended through sheer force of her personality (and laser beams). Or even those she hasn't, as Subaru demonstrates in StrikerS.
  • Setsuna Sakurazaki in Mahou Sensei Negima! gets endless flirtatious remarks from Konoka Konoe (who's already kissed her for a pactio), a psychotic attraction from Tsukuyomi and has been paired with Asuna in at least one CD drama in a moment that wasn't what it looked like. She remains the series' center of Yuri.
  • Mai-HiME:
    • Natsuki Kuga has both boys and girls swooning over her when she comes to class. One of the girls is Student Council President and local Ojou, Shizuru Fujino, who herself has a pool of female groupies.
    • By extension, so does Shizuru Viola of Mai-Otome, as Arika fangirls over her quite a bit in the early episodes, and Tomoe, well... let's just say she's got a crush. In a few of the Drama CDs related to the show, a then-Coral Natsuki pressed hard to get Shizuru as her room supervisor, so that she could eventually get to know "the real her".
  • Misaki Ayuzawa of Maid-Sama! is shown to have the respect of the girls within her sphere of influence, but it becomes this trope when the Maid Cafe she works at has a Ladies Day, featuring the staff in Bifauxnen mode, all of the girls instantly fall for her.
  • Maken-ki!:
  • Yumi Fukuzawa from Maria-sama ga Miteru manages to outshine most of the other popular girls in this regard during the course of the series—even Sachiko. Sure, the setting evokes this trope, but the amount of girls standing in line to become Yumi's "soeur" is nothing short of amazing, considering how she started out.
  • Mayo Chiki!: Subaru has a fanclub full of girls and the one that do know don't care.
  • All of the guys want female Maze in Maze Megaburst Space, and so do quite a few of the gals.
  • Miyuki from Miyuki-chan in Wonderland has every female character attracted to her (though granted all are female).
  • Najica Blitz Tactics: All the girls swoon over Najica at both of her jobs. She's like their mutual Cool Big Sis. She also ran into an heiress type on one mission and found out later that the girl had become infatuated with her. Najica wisely declined her offer of a bodyguard job, hearing the implied " wink wink, nudge nudge".
  • NANA Osaki: the fangirls who wait for her outside every Blast show are predominantly female, and in one case they react rather jealously when Nana gives ultimate fangirl Misato a kiss.
  • Kiri from the manga Never Give Up looks like a male model, acts like a prince when telling her fangirls that she isn't gay, and has a very effeminate love interest. However, she wears the school's female uniform, regularly acts very much like a high school girl, and will often yell "I AM A GIRL!" when provoked (or strongly lusted over). Doesn't change the fact that half the school's female population has enormous crushes on her.
  • Haruka Nogizaka of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is known to have a female fanbase, which joins up in the Instant Fan Club dedicated to her (boys included).
  • In One Piece, Pirate Empress Boa Hancock. She is affectionately referred to as "Snake Princess" by all the Kuja amazons. She takes complete advantage of this by doing whatever the hell she pleases... even kicking small animals in her way. She even manages to use this widespread affection as a weapon. Her Devil Fruit power allows her to petrify anyone, so long as that person harbors lustful thoughts towards her. So far, the only person this hasn't worked on, regardless of age, gender, or species, is Luffy.
    • Earlier, after eating the Slip-Slip fruit, Alvida gained an incredibly sexy new body (made doubly incredible since she used to be a severe Gonk). Her first post-fruit appearance featured a large crowd of onlookers smitten by her beauty, including quite a few women.
    • As well as Kalifa. To quote Nami, "Wait, I'm not a man!". It's okay, Nami, we understand.
  • Sakura from Onii-chan to Issho. Murakami Michi, a women's magazine employee interviewing Masashi - who looks like Sakura's mother Fumiko - informs him that, after meeting Sakura, she is not interested in men and delightedly says that Sakura is "just her type." She fawns over Sakura whenever she has an opportunity.
  • Oniisama e..., where almost the entire Seiran school was crazy about Rei aka Hana-no-Saint-Juste and Kaoru-no-Kimi, well and Miya-sama to some extent.
  • Ryo from Otomen. She gets even more fangirls after the Ideal-Con, who now considers her as a prince. Even Miyabi.
  • Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club, though the girls want her because they don't realize she's a girl... she wears a male uniform and cuts her hair short. She's indebted to her male pals at the host club and earns money by renting herself out to other girls for companionship (not like that, though!) in the guise of a boy.
    • The Lobelia Academy girls instantly recognize her for what she is, and follow this trope to a hilt.
      • And as pictured above, the Zuka Club's Benio has this in spades. The fangirls compete for the privilege of making her lunch, and she has a tendency to flirt with them outrageously.
  • Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt: Stocking, as of "High School Nudical", and Panty too as of "The Runny". Not only that, but she manages to get a nosebleed out of Garterbelt of all people.
  • Paradise Kiss:
    • Miwako Sakurada is apparently so cute that even the girls want her. At least, pretty obviously heterosexual Yukari "Caroline" Hayasaka thinks she is "so cute, even I would kiss her" as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
    • Yukari herself also invokes the trope. Almost every person that meets her or gets a good glimpse of her face, describes her as "cute" or "beautiful". Also, Miwako is apparently heterosexual, but that doesn't stop her from fawning over Yukari's beauty and touching her boobs when she's taking her measurements.
  • Persona 4: The Animation has Naoto. After she returns to school post-kidnapping and her secret comes out, she still gets love letters from girls left in her shoebox. She also wins the beauty pageant in part because she overwhelmingly wins the female vote.
  • Pokémon has a lot of powerful female Trainers flanked by female fans. This is especially true of female Gym Leaders and Coordinators (Jessie, Dawn, Zoey, Ursula, etc.).
    • Gym Leader Elesa has a particularly rabid female fanbase, as she wears revealing clothing and is a professional model. In BW 069, Cilan crossdresses as her and is disappointed that he cannot mimic her allure.
    • Pike Queen Lucy has an all-female group of delinquent schoolgirls who adore her. In AG 158, Jessie disguises herself as Lucy and tries to mimic her allure. Jessie is confident that her transformation is successful.
    • In OS099, Kanto Elite Four member Lorelei/Prima captivates Misty and Tracey. They blush around her, defend her, and sing her praises. This may have to do with the fact that Prima has the largest breasts in the entire series, and has a big behind as well.
    • In OS048, Jessibelle, James's first and current fiancee (out of three fiancées of his), captivates Misty and Brock once she changes into her dominatrix outfit, causing them to blush. In DP 153 it is revealed that when James met her, he blushed and was impressed by her manners and sense of decorum.
  • In Potemayo, Nene uses a similar event as part of a story she's telling Guchuko, with a love-drama style segue into another girl giving Nene's friend Kyo (the athletic, cool girl) chocolate on Valentine's, and then going to ask Nene if the two of them are a couple.
  • Reiri from Princess Resurrection falls under this while at school. She welcomes this reaction, as it gives her quite a supply of very willing blood donors.
  • Revolutionary Girl Utena:
    • The eponymous Utena Tenjou is swooned over by several members of both sexes from the very first episode — including hordes of fangirls. And she elicits these reactions whether dressed as a boy or wearing Ohtori's female uniform, as proved by the episode coming after her loss at the hands of Touga, which she tried to cope with by acting and dressing more demurely and girlishly; yes, the other girls were still seriously wet for her, perhaps even moreso than usual. Not to mention that Wakaba goes so far as to call Utena her "boyfriend" and is very affectionate towards her, or how Anthy is hinted to be in love with her in the anime and goes so far as to get naked with Utena in the movie, kiss her, and come on to her.
    • Anthy Himemiya herself, given that Utena seems to be If It's You, It's Okay towards her. And in episode 8, two girls fawn over Anthy (and Utena) as well.
    • Chigusa Sanjouin from the Utena Sega Saturn game also counts. She gets her share of fangirls squeeing over her when she appears in class, and Kozue is even seen dating her at one point.
    • Juri gets attention from many males and later it's confirmed that Shiori has a crush on her.
      • Juri herself has quite a bit of angst over her crush on Shiori.
  • Romeo X Juliet: Juliet Fiamatta Asto Capulet. She and Romeo Candorebanto Montague are the Official Couple, but after learning her true identity (after believing for years that she was a boy), her friend Emilia admits some attraction towards her as well.
  • In Rosario + Vampire a female student once noted that Moka Akashiya "has the kind of beauty that charms even other women." Considering the events in the first episode of the second season of the anime, this is entirely true. There's also the little witch Yukari who harbors a crush on Moka even after joining Tsukune's harem. And that's without getting to what happens when Moka decides to let her inner self out for one school day...
    • Also, in the second season, Yukari, Kurumu, and Mizore are shown to have screaming fanclubs of girls dedicated to them as well.
    • Also, Kokoa, Moka's half sister, is deeply in love with her vampire personality.
    • And now Akuha Shuzen is attracted to Moka too.
  • Lady Oscar from Rose of Versailles is one of the first anime to introduce this. Rosalie is pretty much in love with her, and the ladies in court comment right in front of her how handsome and dashing she is, and that they wish there were men like her. Plus, when Marie Antoinette first meets Oscar, she mistakes her for a man, and states she prefers Oscar over her betrothed (who's a painfully shy, pudgy prince who likes locksmithing more than his bride). Oscar is not above taking advantage of this, most notably acting as she was supposed to pick up a bride when her father, who had raised her as a male so he could have a heir, suddenly decided to marry her off (to protect her from getting killed in the incumbent French Revolution) and set up a party for her to choose her future husband.
  • Haruka Tenō of Sailor Moon seems to inspire this, with one episode of Makoto thinking she's so absolutely cool that she winds up crushing on her (despite this being after The Reveal of Haruka's real gender). When Michiru asks to dance with Mamoru, Usagi objects...until she's offered a dance with Haruka in exchange, and instantly shifts gears. After the dance, Haruka is instantly crowded by men and women alike who want to be the next person to dance with her. Meanwhile, Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto are playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who's going to dance with her next.
    • Rei Hino also invokes the trope in the franchise, being an Aloof Dark-Haired Girl Miko and the idol of her all-girls school. Even Usagi was all googly-eyed when she saw Rei for the first time. Usagi's crush on Rei is practically canon.
    • Hell, in the manga Act that introduces Rei, Usagi first meets her on a bus and then decides to follow her around because she's pretty. When Rei mistakes Usagi for an evil spirit and uses one of her "Evil Spirits Begone" talismans on her and apologizes for it, Usagi thinks to herself that she can forgive anyone who's that beautiful.
    • Usagi herself also has this trope going on, especially in the manga and in Sailor Moon Crystal. Seiya certainly crushed on her, whether as a Gender Bender or Sweet Polly Oliver. And manga!Haruka was straightforward enough to steal a kiss from her, certainly...
  • Alice from Serial Experiments Lain. Lain gives her a confession of love in the penultimate episode.
  • Most of Natsumi's female classmates in Sgt. Frog are seriously wet for her.
  • Sora of Shitsurakuen. She's got quite the harem of adoring schoolgirls who she's rescued from evil boys.
  • When Amu Hinamori sees Nadeshiko in Shugo Chara!, she comments on how if she were a boy, she'd be in love. Although this case is subverted.
  • Kyouko Mogami from Skip Beat!. Kanae aka Moko certainly does and so do the girls that are doing the "Natsu" drama.
    • Possibly Moko as well, since Kyouko may or may not like Moko in that way.
  • In Soul Eater Not!, Anya gets a moment of this when she puts on a sexy waitress uniform, and her two female friends react by blushing furiously and requesting glasses of water from the barman.
    • And Tsugumi tends to get this from Anya and Meme.
  • Kurumi of Steel Angel Kurumi. Saki longs for Kurumi but Kurumi is hopelessly devoted to Nakahito.
    • Nako, Uruka, and Kurumi (again) from Steel Angel Kurumi 2. Nako has Karinka, Kurumi, and her best friend Uruka in love with her. Kurumi has Saki in love with both her and Uruka. And in episode 4 Kurumi gets legions of fangirls at her school.
  • Shizuma from Strawberry Panic!. She has hordes of fangirls and Nagisa falls in love with her eventually. Also, Nagisa. Chiyo, Shizuma, and Tamao are all in love with her. Hikari too. Yaya is in love with her and so is Amane. And Amane as she has fangirls and Hikari is also in love with her.
  • Sanae Sawamura from Teppu. It's blatant to the point that her friend Mai Ganeko is not-so-subtly in love with her (something that gets picked up on and Lampshaded by at least one character).
  • Fujiwara Zakuro from Tokyo Mew Mew. Minto is a huge fan of hers and often describes her with hearts in her eyes.
  • Ami Kawashima from Toradora!, who is something of a selfish jerk (though she mellows out later) with a very good acting ability. Her cute 'natural airhead' persona has made most of the guys admire her beauty and personality, as well as some of the girls. None of the other main characters are fooled by it, however, including the guy whom she apparently has a crush on.* Maybe Taiga too, if we consider Minori to be Bi the Way for her.
  • Esther Blanchett from Trinity Blood gets men and women smitten with her. She also shows degrees of attraction to both genders.
  • Valkyrie and Hydra from UFO Princess Valkyrie. In the flashback to their school days, they're both shown to have very large fanclubs at the all-girl academy they attend. (The school practically goes into a meltdown of burgeoning lesbian desire when the two are cast as lovers in the annual festival play.) Valkyrie's fangirls seem to have the Cool Big Sis worship going; Hydra's are... a little more blatant:
"Hydra-samaaaaaaa! Do whatever you want to me!"
  • Ryunnosuke of Urusei Yatsura. Yes, the female population of the school is aware that she's female and forced into Bifauxnen status by her father. They don't care — she's still hot.
  • Vampire Knight: If dealing with her Male Harem wasn't already hard enough, Yuuki Kuran has to deal with Les Yay from Shizuka. Yori basically describes her "ideal person" as a mix between Yuuki and Zero.
  • Ito, the studly heroine of W Juliet, has a mostly female Unwanted Harem.
  • In an absolutely hilarious twist of events in Chapter 73 of The Wallflower, Sunako becomes this trope. And to a much lesser extent, in an earlier chapter which has her becoming a Bifauxnen.
  • Yakitate!! Japan: In an Omake, Tsukino Azusagawa is shown to be receiving a lot of love letters in her shoe box. She's in an all-girls school.
  • Hazuki from Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito has female characters she's never met instantly taking a liking to her, and it seems sincere even when there's also an ulterior motive. Unfortunately for them, she could be the poster child for lesbian monogamy and is by turns oblivious or downright dismissive. They're not Hatsumi; she's not interested.
    • Like the aforementioned Chikane, Hazuki is the other goddess of the Single-Target Sexuality trope. Her love is reserved for Hatsumi and Hatsumi only.
  • All three of the eponymous Zettai Karen Children. Perhaps ironically, Kaoru tends to attract the girls she's not interested in. She wants older, sexier women!
    • Well, she shifts focus to girls her age when she grows older—much to the dismay of the other two Children.
  • Mako from Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa has pretty much everybody after her bar a select few.
  • Everyone (except Akira) in the Blause Rosen band in Ai Ore! Love Me! has this to varying degrees.
  • Maki of Airmaster. Because every other character, including a couple of girls, seem to be chasing after her.
  • Venus Versus Virus: Lucia. It's all but outright stated that Sumire is in love with Lucia.
  • Rina from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is (supposedly) a Bifauxnen and is thus very popular with her female classmates, and she is shown receiving love letters from two of them.
  • Konoe of Hanaukyō Maid Tai. While Konoe sees her as a pupil, Yashima herself is hopelessly and rather blatantly in love with Konoe. This often has her daydreaming up various lesbian fantasies with Konoe returning her feelings...resulting in rather embarrassing moments.
  • Ayaka Hatori of D.N.Angel in Daisuke's school in episode 7. She has tons of fangirls who blush and wear looks of great admiration in her presence.
  • Torako from Hyakko. From how it looks in episode 10, a lot of people have Les Yay towards her.
  • Kirika from Noir. Later in the series, Chloe makes it very clear she seeks a lesbian relationship with her.
  • Bungaku Shoujo: Tohko Amano. The second book confirms that Maki has feelings towards Tohko.
  • Strawberry Shake Sweet: Saeki seems to attract a fair share of unwanted female attention. She's also very popular among the manga's female fandom.
  • Mika of Doki Doki School Hours. Kitagawa has a crush on her.
  • Makoto of THE iDOLM@STER is not only popular with teenage girls but housewives as well.
  • Ai Kora: Yukari has not only attracted the attention of protagonist Maeda and Recurring Extra Kawatani, but also schoolgirl Kano Kureha.
  • Mawaru-Penguindrum:
    • Momoka. Both Tabuki and Yuri love her and Yuri tries to rape Ringo because they're sisters and so much alike.
    • Tsubasa Yuuki also had something with Yuri and when Yuri broke it off Tsubasa appeared to stab Tabuki out of jealousy.
  • In Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Homura seems to be very popular with her female classmates, as seen in the first episode. Sayaka's first reaction to her was, "Wow! She's gorgeous!" The PSP game shows that even Hitomi will swoon over her given the right circumstances (so much for "Girls can't love girls").
    • Madoka herself as well, as Homura has a thing for her.
  • In Cutey Honey Flash, Honey Kisaragi is very popular with her female classmates.
  • Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine:
    • The main plot behind episode 6 sees Fujiko romantically pursued by several female students while posing as a teacher.
    • During the second episode, Fujiko's ability to attract women as well as men is specifically mentioned by Cicciolina.
  • Midori from Tamako Market, who has received valentines from both genders.
    • Tamako herself falls into a Love Triangle, when is crushed on by Mochizou (a boy) and the aforementioned Midori, a girl.
  • Ayane of Witch Craft Works is the tall, cool type, constantly surrounded by a huge female fan club. So when she decides to stop guarding Takamiya from the shadows and spend the day by his side, he is instantly hated.
  • Nyarko from Haiyore! Nyarko-san unintentionally won the affection of Cuuko...and she's not happy about it at all, since not only are their races are Arch-Enemies, but Cuuko is a Clingy Jealous Girl Stalker With a Crush Lovable Sex Maniac...which makes this a case of Laser-Guided Karma, since Nyarko is all those things to her Love Interest Mahiro, and often she'll try to brush Cuuko off with the exact same insults Mahiro used on her mere minutes earlier.
  • In Campione!, a lot of Erica Blandelli's classmates have crushes on her, and get incredibly jealous of her boyfriend Godou.
  • Love Lab:
    • A lot of classmates have crushes on Maki, saying she is kind and beautiful like a princess.
    • A lot of classmates have crushes on Riko, because she's a tomboy who kicks a lot of ass, and she's saved a few of them.
  • Yuu Kashima of Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. To be more precise, it's especially the girls who want her. The consensus amongst the school's female population is that she's the hottest guy in her year.
  • Canaan
    • Both Canaan and Maria what with their Les Yay towards one another. If you look at it from a Foe Yay angle there's also Alphard's tendency to invade Canaan's personal space everytime they fight.
    • Alphard. Besides the obvious example in Liang Qi, she sets the hearts of both the male and female party guests in episode 4 aflutter when she passes by them in her sexy evening gown.
  • Cheeky Angel: Megumi seems to have no problem attracting other women such as Miki, Yoriko (Megumi's live in maid), Reiko, a thief, and Genzo's sister, Setsuka, and pretty much any woman who talks to her for more than two seconds, both love to hug and touch Megumi. Her classmate Chie even discusses having sex with her.
  • Don't Become an Otaku, Shinozaki-san!:
    • It's revealed that Touko was once confessed to by another girl. When brought up, however, she becomes very flustered and refuses to speak of the matter.
    • During the culture festival, Akina's class adjusts their maid cafe to a maid and butler cafe to compete with a neighboring class and their cosplay cafe. Akina is dressed up as the butler and, using a manga she read as reference for her behavior, woos every girl that comes her way.
  • Magi – Labyrinth of Magic: Morgiana seems to have this with a lot of girls. Other than Leila, her first interaction with Toto involved being hugged by her with Morgiana's hands on Toto's chest. A special chapter/omake even has Myron from the Fanalis Corps try to kidnap her "because she's so cute."
  • Mei no Naisho: With the possible exception of Fuuka, everyone has a crush on the Student Council President.
  • No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!: Yuu. Tomoko and Kotomi both have pretty obvious crushes on her in middle school and separate high schools have done little to ebb their lust.
  • Cross Ange: Ange attracts blushing worship from her teammates in the first episode, then Coco in the third...and Zola and Embryo's less-than-welcome attentions.
  • Kaen of Adekan attracts male admirers and an obsessive female admirer.
  • Mahiru Hiiragi of Seraph of the End. In the novels, its mentioned that she's thought of as "beautiful" and a "goddess" by both males and females with her inspiring blushing worship in everyone. It's even lampshaded in text with the mention that "everybody seemed to adore Mahiru".
    • Mitsuba is the subject of part teasing part flirtatious attentions from Shinoa (to the point where she says she wants to see Mitsuba's body in detail and calls her sexy), has her neck bitten by a female vampire who drapes her body across hers, and Yoichi (a guy) is interested in seeing her in casual clothes and calls her cute in one illustration while looking interested when her skirt flips up in a gag comic implying he has a crush on her.
  • Setsu from Oddman 11, attempts, in true Scott Pilgrim fashion, to get the boy she likes by fighting through all of his exes. Instead, what ends up happening is that she befriends and attracts a portion of them big enough to turn him unto her Designated Love Interest.
  • D.Gray-Man: Lenalee is clearly Allen's counterpart in that domain. Allen probably likes her more than just a little, Lavi says he is totally interested in her, Bak is… well, Bak, Cross blatantly hits on her once. She also can make Cross stay at the Order, as he was going to run off again, but found Lenalee too cute to refuse. Regory Peck apparently did it several times, and Li Kei falls in Love at First Sight. And there is Komui's behaviour…In regards to the girls, in the Rewinding Town arc Road dresses up Lenalee in an Elegant Gothic Lolita-looking gown and curls her long hair. She also calls her "cute" while releasing heart marks, fawning over her, and holding her close.
  • Your Name: While he's in Mitsuha's body, Taki's more assertive personality (including standing up to her usual bullies and kicking butt on the basketball court) actually gets her a Love Confession from a female classmate...which happens when she's back in her own body. She's not happy with him for that. Of course, it also goes the other way when she's in Taki's body.

    Comic Books
  • Played for Laughs in Nextwave. Monica Rambeau talks about how her fellow Avengers used to hit on her constantly, and concludes with "I don't even want to talk about The Wasp."
  • Storm and Jubilee from the X-Men. Brian Wood's run even has a subplot where Bling, one of the female students at the Jean Grey School, tries to put the moves on Jubilee.
  • Ramba seems to have no problem persuading previously straight women that they want to have sex with her.
  • Radiance from the All-New Invaders. While describing how popular Ryoko is in Japan, the Human Torch states that she has legions of teenage fans who want to date her. According to him, this includes both young men and young women.
  • Omaha from Omaha the Cat Dancer has a few female fans in the story, especially her close friend Shelly and occasional ally Jo.
  • Ramona V. Flowers from Scott Pilgrim. Her 4th evil ex is Roxie Ritcher. Besides that, Kim said (joking or not) that she loved both Scott and Ramona, and that she wanted to be like Ramona.
  • Fantasia Faust from Ironwood, although in her case it's a specific magical effect that is built into her.
  • Wonder Woman #600 features the title character hanging out with a diverse group of young heroines who just helped her fight some robots. Most of the girls talk about how gorgeous and amazing Wonder Woman is, and Batwoman even unsuccessfully tries to ask her out.
    • An earlier issue from Greg Rucka's run showed Wonder Woman at a signing for her new book. Most of the audience members (male and female alike) tried to ask if she was looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend.
  • Ego from Little Ego, at least in her dreams. Everyone she meets in her Dream Land, male or female, is unable to keep their hands off her.
  • At the end of the Kieron Gillen run of Young Avengers, we get this exchange:
Kate: Am I the only person on the team who's straight?
Ms America: Princess, I've seen the way you look at me. You're not that straight.
  • Lady Death tends to elicit this reaction from women when it's not jealousy or attempting to kill her. Her original Arch-Enemy used to be Purgatori, a Lesbian Vampire who lusted for her blood and contemplated having her for herself. When Heaven attempted to sway Lady Death to their side, they sent a female angel with an intoxicating scent to seduce her.
  • Red Sonja is apparently accustomed to this treatment and flaunts it when opportunities arise.
    Sonja: I'm Red Sonja. I'm everyone's type.

    Fan Works
  • A Crown of Stars: Even straight women find red-haired Empress Rayana hot and sexy, as Ching admitted to Asuka in chapter 16.
  • The Mission Stays The Same Quite a few asari start following or hitting on Maeteris during her trip to Illium. As an Eldar, not only does she reject their advances, she finds it annoying and degrading.
    • Also happens to Shepard when infiltrating Hock's mansion; because of Maeteris' skill with makeup, every single person there can't help but stare at Shepard, and she notices several asari present that are ready to jump her at any given moment.
  • This seems to be a problem plaguing Taylor in Conquest Quest. Not helped by her budding bisexuality.
  • Weiss Reacts: The eponymous character is a Chick Magnet in her own right, as is Yang. Both pale in comparison to Winter, whose every action seems to make people squee over her.

    Films — Live-Action
  • Repo! The Genetic Opera has Amber Sweet and Amber Sweet's Rhinestone Corset. The effect is compounded in the Cut Song Come Up And Try My New Parts, which also has even the guys wanting Grave-Robber. Altough that is some serious potential ew.
  • Bridget Jones in the second film learns she has a female admirer in the form of the work colleague of Mark Darcy, that she was so suspicious and insecure about.
  • In Beethoven, Ryce comments on the "perfection" of a girl she believes to be her crush's girlfriend.

  • Darla from Just Friends. Samantha James, who's bisexual kisses her on the lips in one scene and later states that she likes girls, meaning Darla.
  • Lulu from Pandora's Box is so alluring that even Countess Augusta wants her. This is one of the first depictions of lesbianism in film.
  • In the first Female Prisoner Scorpion film, when Matsu gets thrown into solitary but an unfamiliar prisoner who can't stop asking questions is also put in her cell, she is suspicious - so she seduces the new inmate. Turns out she's a guard after all, and she ends up in the warden's office, being stripped by the other guards to reveal she's covered in lovebites and begging to be let back into the cell 'to try again'.
  • In Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Knives Chau is little too obsessed with Envy Adams.
  • Mädchen in Uniform takes place in a Prussian One-Gender School. Many of the girls are head-over-heels for their teacher, Fräulein von Bernburg. The protagonist also falls for her but makes the mistake of confessing it in a drunken outburst, which causes her to be punished and spurs her to attempt suicide.
  • Suicide Squad (2016) has a scene where a group of soldiers stare at Harley Quinn while she's stripping out of her prison uniform and changing into her costume. When Harley notices this, it's shown that one of the soldiers ogling her is a woman.

  • The Dawns Here Are Quiet: Actually, all the women in the Amazon Brigade are attractive. But they all still goggle when Zhenya enters the steam bath naked, her long red hair cascading. They call her a "mermaid", and one lady soldier can only gasp, "Putting a shape like that in an army uniform...."

  • China Sorrows from Skulduggery Pleasant makes everyone fall in love with her at first sight, male and female alike.
  • The Lady of the Green Kirtle in The Silver Chair. She's described as very beautiful and charismatic, and before she learnt who she truly was, Jill Pole was pretty much goo-gaa over her.
  • In Johannes Cabal the Necromancer, Layla the Latex Lady is essentially lust given humanoid form, sinful temptation. When she ends one of her shows early its noted that the men and some of the women give her wistful looks, noting that she inspires "confusing thoughts" in her female audience members.
  • In Chronicles of the Kencyrath, the heroine Jame has this with the Merikit women. Jame is in the strange position of being officially male, even though everyone knows she's female and is fine with it. The Merikit women adore her, to to point of wanting her to be the father of children.
  • In the Dresden Files novels, female White Court vampires such as Lara Raith are certainly this. White Court vampires feed on sexual energy, and they are not choosy about the gender of their meals.
  • In the WW2 novel "Spitfire Girls" (by Carol Gould) Valerie Cobb, famous aviatrix and commanding officer of the women ferry pilots, is described in lovestruck terms by all of them. In this case of her best friend this attraction has a definite sapphic edge — unfortunately Cobb has fallen in love with a man instead.
  • The title character of Friday by Robert A. Heinlein, an Artificial Human created as a corporate prostitute (but who at book's opening is more of a military courier for hire), is invariably asked for kisses by the various women she meets. She always complies, but refuses to believes she's as gorgeous as everyone else thinks she is.
  • Kushiel's Legacy: Melisande and Phèdre, both in canon and among fans. Aslo, Moirin, Snow Tiger and Nicola L'Envers y Aragon.
  • Pippa from the Gemma Doyle trilogy. Felicity is in love with her. Gemma also has a male love interest and quite a lot of Les Yay with her female circle of friends.
  • Jacky Faber of the Bloody Jack series. Mam'selle Claudelle de Bourbon and Cheng Shih certainly want her. Also, following her Fake-Out Make-Out with Jacky, Clarissa seems to have liked it.
  • Eldest Whistler in A Brother's Price. Ren is interested in her little brother but is struck with admiration for Eldest, though it seems more to be for the natural command she has over her family and the idea that if Jerin grows up some more to look like that, wow.
  • Twilight
    • Rosalie. Bella repeatedly talks about how "breathtaking" and beautiful Rosalie is.
    • Bella is a dude magnet, Alice is quite fond of her, and Leah reveals that ever since she became a werewolf and able to read Jacob's mind, she's been having dreams about kissing Bella.
  • Scarlett of Gone with the Wind. Worthy of note is how much Melanie fangirls over her.

    Live-Action TV
  • In Power Rangers Mystic Force, vampire queen Necrolai reveals her human form for the first time, and Xander openly says she's hot. The other Rangers instantly agree, with the loudest and most enthusiastic being Vida, the Pink Ranger. Of course, Vida's fit the lesbian stereotype pretty well from day one. Not to mention the fact that she was once under Necrolai's Mind Control.
  • Scrubs:
    • When Julie Keaton (played by Heather Locklear) is introduced, all the guys treat her as the hottest girl in the hospital with an emphatic "Damn!", but when Carla says it as well, Turk and J.D. look at her in surprise. When Carla says "What? She's hot." J.D. responds with "No, that's hot."
    • Another episode has a female intern sarcastically ask Elliot if she could get the same preferential treatment as Keith (Elliot's boyfriend). Elliot replies "The only woman in this hospital that I would even consider sleeping with is Jamie in pediatrics" at the thought of which, she, and all the female interns, look into the distance and sigh.
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer:
    • In the Season 5 episode "Crush," Drusilla comes back to Spike. Harmony, his new hench-wench, says this about it:
Harmony: I told you: I don't do threesomes unless they're boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.
    • Buffy attracts quite a few guys but then there's the blatant Les Yay she gets with Faith.
  • In Angel, Faith gets this in season 4 with a random female character saying, "you're pretty, wanna make out?"
  • Straight women seem to instantly become bisexual for Shane McCutcheon in The L Word. In one episode, she attended a wedding where she was sleeping with both of the bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride. Even the bride herself kissed her, but Shane managed to control herself and did not let the encounter go further than that. Even Shane has standards.
  • A Will & Grace episode had Jack Karen infiltrate a self-help group of homosexuals trying to go "straight". Karen tries to bait the lesbians by telling them about her fantasy; her and Angelina Jolie on a Harley.
  • 30 Rock:
    • Seen when Jack's fiancée Elisa claims to have a terrible secret.
      Liz: Are you a man?
Elisa: Really? That's your guess? Do you want to see me naked?
      Liz: Sorta.
    • Seen even earlier with Elisa in the episode "Generalissimo":
Jack: Look, you should know I'm doing this for a woman... [shows a picture of Elisa]... this woman.
Hector Moreda: Wow. I am super-gay and I would totally switch for her.
    • Also with Liz herself. In the third episode, her lesbian friend Gretchen (who is, incidentally, Alex frickin' Cabot, a major source of this trope on her own show) has to work up the willpower to stop seeing her. Also, in Into the Crevasse, Jenna seems to enjoy watching two porn actresses representing herself and Liz make out.
  • How I Met Your Mother has a moment with Lily, who once told Marshall in reference to a hot female bartender (doubles as a CMOF):
Lily: Baby, how can you not want to hit that? I want to hit that! I'm sorry, but if you're not into her... you might be gay.
    Marshall: Yeah... gay for you!
More commonly, Lily has dropped hints throughout the series that she has a crush on the smoking hot Robin.
  • iCarly: Shelby, through Carly. Sam seemed to get this reaction from Valerie as well.
    • Missy, Sam, and Shelby, all show signs of being attracted to Carly as more than just friends.
  • Roseanne: When Roseanne decides to hire Traci Lord's character as a waitress, she tells Jackie she'll bring in more customers. "She's so hot she even gives me a woody."
  • Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Olivia Benson. In-universe, the Les Yay subtext suggests that seemingly-straight Alex Cabot (see above) would be quite happy to make an If It's You, It's Okay exception, most clearly described in the Olivia/Alex Ship Manifesto. As would we all.
  • The Vampire Diaries: Nina Dobrev has chemistry with every actor on the show... including herself.
  • In Wonderfalls, Jaye ineptly attempts to comfort her sister (who she's just found out is a lesbian) by saying that she could see sleeping with a girl if there were no men around, "especially if it was Drew Barrymore".
  • Bo, the protagonist of Lost Girl, and in-canon to boot: she's a succubus, with sex-based Mind Control powers. No, really.
  • At one point in season one of Smallville one guy tells another that liking Lana is unoriginal, he being at least the forth guy who has expressed interest in her. In season two Tina Greer realized that she was in love with Lana so she decided to take the place of Lana's boyfriend.
  • Glee:
    • Quinn. Rachel's obsession with Quinn and her constant harping on how Quinn is the prettiest girl she's ever met.
    • Santana and Brittney's romantic relationship with each other qualifies them both as this.
  • Amanda Bynes on The Amanda Show has plenty of fans and one very obsessed female stalker named Penelope Taynt. Amusingly, both Amanda and Penelope are played by Amanda Bynes.
  • 2 Broke Girls: Caroline asks Max to come out and see something she bought:
Max: If I'm coming out for anyone, it'd be that hot dragon tattoo chick.
    • Max herself given the guys that are attracted to her, the daily Les Yay with Caroline, and Sophie mentioning attraction to her.

  • In this segment on Good Day America news anchor Rosanna Scotto talks about how good reporter Anna Gilligan looks in a bikini when she tries out the Tarzan rope swing at Action Park.
  • The Big Bang Theory:
    • In the episode "The Hook-Up Reverberation", Penny casually admits her high school PE coach turned out to have a close personal interest in her which amounted to an unwise teacher-pupil crush. She took the young Penny to see a Melissa Etheridge gig, and Penny played along with the idea to ensure she got A-grades. Penny does not disclose how far she had to go to get those A's but casually says "it all worked out just fine".
    • A running gag in the show concerns Amy Farrah-Fowler's barely-hidden crush on Penny, something Penny cheerfully tolerates so long as it doesn't go too far.

    Shawn: You think so?

Topanga: Okay, so she's pretty, she's tall, she drives a red new convertible, oh heck, I'd go out with her.
  • Shake It Up!: Danika in "Embarrass It Up". Seriously, Rocky and CeCe both chased after her.
  • Two and a Half Men: Jenny Harper picks up a girl in a bar that isn't a lesbian without revealing that she herself is a lesbian. And already has managed to sleep with non-lesbians, such as Walden's mom Robin, Lyndsey (as part of a threesome with Lyndsey's boyfriend) and Lynda freakin' Carter. Walden even calls it the "lesbian zombie" virus.

  • The bulk of "If U Seek Amy," appears to be built around this trope: "All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy..." note
  • "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry more or less invokes this trope. "Us girls we are so magical/Soft skin, red lips, so kissable..." (the lips in question supposedly belonged to Scarlett Johansson - all in Katy's imagination, though)
    • Slightly diluted: The singer is drunk.
    • Even more diluted: covered by Paul McDermott.
    • There is also I Kissed a Boy by Cobra Starship.
  • In Ayumi Hamasaki's music video for "Green", a woman is seen eying up Ayumi. At the end of the video, they dance together.

  • Panic! at the Disco's "All the Boys", a bonus track off of Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! It apparently written by Dallon Weekes about his wife Breezy.
    All the boys and I
    All the boys and I
    Love her madly
    All the boys and I,
All the girls and I, too
  • There's this verse from Little Big Town's "Girl Crush":
I wanna taste her lips, yeah, 'cause they taste like you
I wanna drown myself in her perfume
I want her long blonde hair, I want her magic touch
Yeah 'cause maybe then, you'd want me just as much
I got a girl crush, I got a girl crush
  • Denmark's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 (Basim's "Cliché Love Song") featured the lines:
    "When she walked the room
    Even girls they whistle (whistling)"

    Pro Wrestling
  • Following hometown and physical stats, Gateway Championship Wrestling ring announcer Erica added "and the only person I would want to sit on my face" to Daizee Haze's introduction.
  • WWE SmackDown!: Torrie Wilson. First, in December 2002, Dawn Marie, who was engaged to Torrie's father Al, guilted her into a makeout session at a hotel room which appeared on the WWE Armageddon 2002 PPV on December 15. At the March 13, 2003 Girls Gone Wild PPV, Stacy Keibler, Torrie's long-time friend/rival both on television and off , did a body shot from Torrie's cleavage (she was wearing a bikini at the time). Then, after a nearly four-year exile due to a lawsuit partially inspired by her having previously refused to do a lesbian angle, Sable returned on the April 3, 2003 (taped April 1) episode, while Torrie was presenting the cover to her Playboy issue, and kissed Torrie. This led to Sable playing mind games with Torrie, leaving her split between seeking Sable's approval and beating her up, and each one attempting to one-up the other in sexiness. This was scrapped when Stephanie McMahon booked herself into a feud with Sable, leaving Torrie to become the new valet for Billy Gunn, in yet another attempt to get him over as anything other than the guy who finished the New Age Outlaws' intro. At the Vengeance PPV on July 27, as part of an on-going "Indecent Proposal" storyline, male wrestler Jamie Noble defeated Billy Gunn, thus giving Noble the right to "sleep" with Torrie on the next episode of SmackDown. During the skit when it was supposed to happen, Noble suggested a threesome with his girlfriend/valet Nidia. This led to a Played for Laughs scene with Noble, Torrie, Nidia and Gunn all in bed together.

  • In Super Robot Wars Alpha, Sleigh Presty has TONS of Les Yay with most of the female cast she interacts with, especially Selena Recital from Alpha 3, and she actually worries about this because she knows and is attracted to women, and they to her, and she's worried she'll never find a man. It doesn't help she has Well Done Sister complex in regards to her brother Filio, whom she doesn't desire sexually but does consider to be the yardstick she measures a man worthy enough to court her by. And, give how bishounen and in touch with his feminine side he is (in Super Robot Wars Original Generation, it's revealed he's a fan of ballet and even made the ultragirly Fairlions), this REALLY doesn't help her case.
    • It also dosen't help that she sort of lost it when her brother was killed by Ibis in a training accident.
  • In SaGa Frontier, part of Asellus' Cursed with Awesome package is the ability to make women, from the young girl in the dress shop to Princess White Rose, incredibly attracted to her.
  • Fire Emblem:
    • Action Mom Louise from Fire Emblem 7. The Shorttank Rebecca practically goes goo-gaa over her because she's so beautiful and elegant as well as a deadly Lady of War.
      • Also Lyndis. Florina is strongly implied to have a cute girlcrush on her, complete with a kiss on the cheek in the first part of the game and a shared ending.
    • In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Eirika's elegance and kindness has been praised by girls like Tana and L'Arachel.
    • In Ylisse, all the young women are seriously wet for Chrom's childhood friend / potential bride and female cavalier Sully since they think she's cooler than most men. It's even in her profile and her single ending!
Profile: Ylissean women admire her strength and call her "The Woman to End All Men."
Solo ending: Her dashing figure and significant skills made her a hero to women everywhere.
    • Not to mention, in the Harvest Scramble Sumia is pretty much drooling at the prospect of roping Sully into a crossdressing pageant.
    • Must be hereditary, since Sully's daughter Kjelle is implied to get similar reactions from Ylissean girls too - love letters included! Not to mention, Severa is... distracted by Kjelle's nice abs.
    • A female Avatar, too. Tharja's obsession with the Avatar does not change when she's a girl, and Flavia's offer to be her Cool Big Sis sounds suspiciously like she's about to ask her out. (And she has to clarify it's not like that, but more of an "I'm Taking Her Home with Me!" effect.)
    • If the Scrambles are to be believed, Severa might have the potential to evoke this. So Kjelle was seemingly drunk when she found Severa attractive? She actually was on a Truth Serum.
    • Cynthia is a milder example. Her supports with Inigo have her getting gifts from some girls; Inigo complains about it and guesses it must be because of her "dashing heroine" image.
  • Fire Emblem Fates:
    • Just like her male counterpart, the Female Avatar from has this effect on girls. ie., her and Azura's supports give strong whiffs of Romantic Two-Girl Friendship, Camilla is as devoted and protective of her as she is of a Male Avatar, no girl can resist her touch in the "skinship" section (which has people of either gender blushing and thanking the Avatar for calling them up)... and Rhajat, the local Dark Magical Girl, is so enamoured with her that she can flat out ask her to marry her as long as she's not her mother. (Even more so, Rhajat is implied to be either the reincarnation or the past self of the aforementioned Tharja...)
    • Laslow's daughter Soleil seems to have quite the luck at picking up girls. It's even funnier when one recalls that her Chivalrous Pervert father is an Older and Wiser, Dimensional Traveler version of the aforementioned Inigo.
  • In Final Fantasy VIII, Quistis Trepe has her own fanclub. It contains numerous women who gush over her beauty just as freely as the boys.
  • In Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, having Lightning don a masculine-looking garb like Velvet Bouncer will cause some passing female Non Player Characters to mistake her for a handsome man before realizing their mistake. Others won't care about that and will straight up ask Lightning to marry them.
  • Bifauxnen Makoto Kikuchi of THE iDOLM@STER is subject to this in her all-girl school, to the point that she becomes an Idol Singer to create a more feminine image for herself and ward off female suitors. It backfires.
    • Carries over into the anime. During her photo shoot in the second episode, Makoto steps up and gives her most brilliant smile, and completely KO's the male photographer... 's female assistant.
  • Metal Gear:
    • In Metal Gear Solid 3, EVA seems a bit too admiring when it comes to The Boss. If the player knocks her out, they can hear her moan "Boss~" in her sleep. Not to mention that even when an extremely powerful Chinese branch of the Philosophers orders her to kill Naked Snake after she takes the Philosopher's Legacy from him, she doesn't. Why? Because The Boss told her not to.
    • The plot of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is about a female admirer of The Boss named Dr. Strangelove developing an A.I. based on her idol.
    • And in turn, Cécile and Paz both become attracted to Strangelove, although Cécile is more comfortable with it. Paz is mostly frustrated and confused, man-style.
  • Persona:
    • Persona 3:
      • Mitsuru Kirijo, by virtue of Aloof Dark-Haired Girl, Authority Equals Asskicking, and Hidden Depths manages to accumulate admirers of both genders. Just ask around school.
      • Courtesy of having Social Links with all of SEES (as opposed to only the female members, in the case of the male protagonist) and being able to have Elizabeth as her Velvet Room attendant instead of Theodore, the Female Protagonist that can be picked in the PSP port is definitely this. Her interactions with Aigis and Elizabeth are just as romantic as they are with the male protagonist (now with added Gayngst in the case of the former), and her potential friendships with Mitsuru and NPC Saori can become quite intense.
    • Persona 4 has Naoto Shirogane, whose androgynous charms attract both boys and girls.
  • From Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Shanoa gets some... interesting dialogue from a number of characters, mainly Laura the jeweler and Monica the seamstress. And then there are the Werebat and Lilith monsters asking to "Let's play, cute little kitty!"
    • That's even getting close to the things she hears from some supposedly asexual creatures... in fact, let's jus say EVERYTHING wants her
    • Castlevania: Judgment shows that even little girls can't resist her. "Just 'cause you're HOT doesn't mean you can be rude!"
  • The Neverwinter Nights mod A Dance with Rogues has the Player Character, who attracts quite a bit of attention from male and female NPCs.
  • Mass Effect:
    • The potential for this exists if you play a female Shepard. Blue-Skinned Space Babe Liara is absolutely fascinated with Shepard for various reasons, and this becomes a romantic interest regardless of the PC's gender. You have the option to tell her to buzz off, however. And if you pick some of the more Paragon-ish background options, a lot of people, including a fair number of women, will be extremely impressed with fem-Shepard. We should note here that the asari are technically a One-Gender Race, but they all look roughly like blue human women and usually use female pronouns to refer to themselves. There's also an amusing bit after Grunt's loyalty mission in Mass Effect 2 where EDI informs Shepard that your success against the thresher maw has led to several mating offers from krogan females for Grunt, as well one for Shepard; the line doesn't change if Shepard is female.
    • Asari are also implied to be attractive to anyone; regardless of their gender, species, or sexual orientation; making them all examples of this trope. Demonstrated best by the salarians, who are all normally asexual and treat "reproduction negotiations" much like a business arrangement... except when it comes to the asari.
    • Quarian squadmate Tali'Zorah manages to induce this in Jack during the Citadel DLC. At one point Jack (if invited) says to Tali that she's cute and "If I was a bit more drunk and knew how to unzip that suit..."
  • In Ōkami, Rao's Gag Boobs are so amazing that even God herself can't help but be distracted by them.
  • Ar tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica: Lady Cloche has an entirely female fanclub, 100 members strong, some of whom joined after "having naughty thoughts of Lady Cloche."
  • The female Grey Warden of Dragon Age: Origins will attract not only two male members of the party and a bisexual woman, but also a number of other female minor characters who include both humans and elves. A female human noble can sleep with another woman in the prologue without so much as a Persuade check...
  • In the GBA game SwordCraft Story, you can choose to play as a girl (Pratty). The game's romantic interests will not be affected much by this, even if most of them are also girls. Most explicitly, if you get Sugar as your spiritual sidekick, she will insist throughout the game on getting married to Pratty.
  • Dia in Luminous Arc 2 has quite a notable fanbase from her students, even prompting non-Light users to sneak into her lectures, despite the information being useless to them.
  • Pokémon:
    • Due to Purely Aesthetic Genders, Leaf from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen comes off as this when you play as her.
    • Cynthia from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. She has several male and female fans who say they'd like to see her in a swimsuit.
    • Elesa has the same deal as Cynthia. Many male and female fans alike simply adore her, even in universe where she has both female and male fans cheering for her in her catwalk designed Gym in Pokemon Black and White 2.
    • In "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity" Your partner is surprised that Virizion didn't want to be "friends" with the female Swanna in charge of the local inn, then, you remember what "friend" is used to imply in this scene, Swanna's response doesn't helps either
"But i had to try. Everyone wants to be Virizion's friend. Such a lovely girl"
  • Noel Vermillion of BlazBlue. Litchi Faye Ling dresses her up in cute outfits in one of her endings, and her childhood friend Makoto Nanaya is very protective of her. There's also a lot of Noel X Rachel art, and much of it is official. There are even a few female dustloop.com members that like her. Litchi herself gets fawned over quite regularly by Taokaka, though popular opinion is that she's simply too young to know any better, and Noel's friends Tsubaki and Mai also get a fair amount of attention from the aforementioned Makoto (who's quite strongy suggested to be bi). There's also Makoto herself, whose physique and choice of attire get attention from the likes of Ragna, Bang, Kagura, Noel, Luna, Litchi, and even Celica, and her personality and vigor draws admiration from many more people.
  • While the Duchess in Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle is technically Even The Guys Want Her, as she receives more female attention than male, it remains that all but a handful of characters greatly admire her, and all but a handful of those want to get in her dress. It's rather depressing when considering the Final End.
  • Succubus monsters in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light are able to use Entice on every party member, two of whom are female. Apparently they're just that hot.
  • Golden Sun enemies with Kiss of Death attacks (Succubus-type enemies throughout the series, Karst in The Lost Age, and in Dark Dawn Chalis and the Ice Queen) can use them on female characters just as effectively as on male characters.
  • Age of Wonders 3: The Seduce and Charm abilities here do not discriminate by sex. Female units like the Bard and Succubus are perfectly capable of seducing and charming other girls, and if you manage to get Seduce or Charm on a male (usually by giving a Leader or Hero an equip item with the ability) they will still be capable of seducing or charming other guys.
  • Senran Kagura: The dynamics between Haruka and Hibari are quite possibly the most blatant example in the series, especially in Crimson Girls, where Hibari transfers to Hebijo. Haruka fawns constantly over Hibari, calling her cute, etc, and when Homura calls her out on her behaviour, Haruka says that even if she was to fall head over heels for Hibari, it wouldn't dampen her skills. Hibari, on the other hand, refers to her and Haruka's time together as "dates".
  • In Yandere Simulator, there's a game mechanic where you can boost your "seduction" stat by spending the night reading explicit manga. Doing so makes male students more comfortable around you, lessening any reputation loss by committing suspicious actions. If it's boosted enough times, it will also work on the girls. The female version of Senpai might also be this, since both you and the other potential suitors will remain female.

    Visual Novels
  • Circus darling Regina Berry in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney captivates both Phoenix and Maya within minutes of meeting them. Quoted above.
  • In Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Jean Greyerl is admired by two people of both genders but is only admired by the opposite gender when reveals herself to have been a Sweet Polly Oliver
  • In Heileen not only does Heileen have a handful of male suitors, her closest female friend Marie tends to throw herself onto her when she's not trying to score with the guys (and is responsible for giving Heileen her Sacred First Kiss). One dialogue option in Chapter 5 has the flirty and vivacious Lora admitting that she had once tried being with another woman. In both cases, Heileen is torn between being totally freaked out and quietly accepting it.
  • Kyou Fujibayashi in CLANNAD is revealed to get a number of love letters from girls, while guys seem to find her scary. Apparently it's fairly embarrassing for her and she tries to cover up by saying that uh... maybe some of the letters are asking for advice! before ripping them to shreds.
    • In the anime adaptation, Tomoyo comments that she receives many gifts from girls.
  • Momoyo of Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! has legions of fans of both genders. Confusingly, she calls herself straight, but flirts only with the girls.
  • In Katawa Shoujo, Lilly says she has received many love confessions in the past. Before she cane to Yamaku, she attended an all-girls Catholic school, thus making it likely that most, if not all, of the confessors were female. She also has a fair amount of Les Yay with her best friend Hanako.
Lilly: Adolescence is a funny time.
    • And at least one girl wants Shizune; it's Misha.

    Web Animation

    Web Comics
  • Magick Chicks:
  • Eerie Cuties: Layla Delacroix is hot enough that she's a Dude Magnet, and even has some of the girls at Charybdis Heights wanting to be with her. Brooke secretly harbors a canonical crush on Layla and, during the "War Dance" arc, a group of girls took Layla to the prom!
  • Female Variant #5 in El Goonish Shive is an example of this trope. For the first 48 hours after being zapped, the target emits super-pheromones that make her attractive to everyone except blood relatives.
  • Ménage ŕ 3: The sheer attractiveness of most of the female cast seems to have quite an effect. Two cases in particular:
    • DiDi not only gets keen attention from open bisexuals like Zii and Yuki, and the slightly more confused Sonya; she causes the straight Sandra to at least contemplate going gay. Furthermore, she is given her first orgasm by the straight Kiley, who earlier said that that the thought of sex with a woman scares her. Gay men certainly notice her, too. Peggy makes the point completely explicit in strip #741 (May 14, 2013, NSFW):
Peggy: I guess I could fall on a one or a two on the Kinsey scale. But I mean, look at you! You can easily make any girl into a three!
    • Zii is an extremely skilled seductress who can apparently get practically any woman into bed, regardless of whether or not they've ever shown any lesbian or bisexual tendencies before. (At least that's how it looks in some early comics. Later, things get more complicated.) Then there's Izz's girl crush on her.
    • Also, there's Sandra, seen mostly in spinoff Sandra on the Rocks. In Ménage à 3, she manages to attract DiDi at one point and dates Matt. In her own webcomic, Cammi lusts for her to the point of trying to seduce her (and Sandra might well have accepted had she not remembered she's already dating Pierre). Then there's Marie's fangirl crush on her, to the point where she washes Sandra's back in one scene, Gary and Alex expressing interest, and her attracting girls right away when she went to a lesbian bar.
    • The other spinoff, Sticky Dilly Buns, has Ruby, who has guys showing interest in her, while in the past the female Professor Conried got her to wear a short skirt so she could check her out, and Zii has shown interest as well. Admittedly, Zii is an acknowledged bisexual and the same might go for the Professor, but all this emphasises that Ruby is darned sexy for a nerdy virgin who used to avoid the whole subject.
  • In Red String, Maya has a huge female fan club that all act like they're fawning over a cute boy. Fuuko even falls completely in love with her as part of her coming out story.
  • Skin Horse has refugee from The '70snote  Tigerlilly Jones, who is so Funkadelic that she makes even the heterosexual Heroic Sociopath Unity feel funny "down there."
  • An early page of The Blonde Marvel has a mugger admonish the "New", skinny Blonde Marvel, admitting he used to get in touch with himself to pictures of her ample assets. The woman he's currently mugging admits she did the same thing.
  • Dumbing of Age:
    • Sal appears to be this. Both male and female characters frequently comment on how attractive and all-around amazing she is; even the devout and straight-laced Joyce has admitted to twinges.
    • Billie is either an example of this, or meets an inordinately high number of gay or bisexual girls. She has been kissed by Ruth, almost kissed by Daisy, and Joyce has shown an uncharacteristic interest in "getting lost" in her breasts.
  • In the first issue of Love and Capes, the heroine, Abby, is shocked to find that her boyfriend, Superman-expy Mark, used to date Wonder Woman-expy Amazonia. She's brooding about it when her sister Charlotte walks in and asks what the matter is. At first, Charlotte doesn't see that there's much of a problem — Mark loves Abby — until she learns that the ex in question is Amazonia.
Charlotte: Whoa! Heck, I'd do her.
    Abby (whisper): Me too...
  • Dabbler, in Grrl Power, definitely has this effect; women looking at her all start thinking "Not a lesbian. Not a lesbian. Not a lesbian." However, with her it's an explicitly supernatural effect; she's part-succubus, and generates an aura of sexual fascination. Her team leader has to tell her to dial it back periodically; Dabbler finds the results amusing.
  • Nikki Danton of The Scumthorpe Files has been the first crush of many of her peers, male and female. Davina has also called Nikki "strangely pleasant to look at".

    Web Original
  • In Touhou: a Glimmer of an Outside World, everyone finds Kaguya attractive. Even the few straight girls.
  • In Ilivais X, the list of girls who HAVEN'T shown interest in Mille are [Lau and Electra (who've never even seen her), Alice (who's devoted to Locke anyway), and Dia. Granted, this is a universe in which humans are basically sterile and reproduction is done artificially, so sexuality doesn't matter, but there is still an inherent, albeit weakened gender barrier. Mille still expresses her surprise at being able to shatter it so easily and suddenly.
  • In Greek Ninja, crazed succubus Dolores confesses her undying love for Sasha — the reincarnated form of her ex-lover Eli. Although it's Eli she's actually after, she doesn't seem to mind the fact Sasha is a girl and even locks lips with her later.
  • In one vlog, Female Misogynist Hyper Fangirl (from The Nostalgia Critic) gushes over how beautiful Rachel Tietz is.

    Western Animation
  • Francine Smith from American Dad!. The Smiths' neighbor, Linda Memari, is in love with her.And the episode "My Morning Straitjacket" has a female bouncer attracted to her, with Francine not minding and even initiating a kiss with her.
  • Archer features Ms. Fanservice Lana: when she started selling sex to her collegues to get back at Cyril, first up was Pam. Later on, Cyril spots Ray in the queue and when he asks him about it, he replies "Girl, please. Nobody's that gay."
  • As Told by Ginger: Ginger Foutley is a Dude Magnet and Courtney appears to have much Les Yay towards her. There was talk of making Courtney confess to Ginger, only to be shut down but having come to terms with her sexuality, at the end of the series. The uppers at Nickeldeon declined the decision.
  • The episode "A Shot In D'arc" of Clone High has Cleopatra realizing the guy she had been flirting with was actually Joan Of Arc in disguise. Upon realizing this, her only comment is "Hot!"
  • Doug: Judy. In "Doug's a Big Fat Liar", Patty goes to a dance with "Melvin", really Judy in drag. Seems innocent enough, but when the whole ruse is revealed, Patty isn't even upset! She even says "Melvin" is the best dancer at the hoedown and continues to dance with Judy throughout the rest of the episode. Also, they share Judy's room in an episode of the Disney series.
  • Family Guy
    • Lois has attracted tons of male admirers despite being married to Peter. Bonnie is also willing to make out with her, Meg's lesbian friend was happy when she kissed her, and Meg's friend once told her about Lois "Your mom is so fucking hot."
    • Connie bullies Meg quite often but Meg seems to have something for her as shown when she asks Connie if she can think about her in the tub tonight. When Connie says no Meg stubbornly states "I'm still gonna". There's also that time she willingly tongue kissed Connie for a few seconds.
  • A season four episode of KaBlam! had a scene involving a group of female fans of June that were so obsessed with her, they even dressed like her, did their hair like her, and yes, were as hot-tempered as her.
  • The titular Korra from The Legend of Korra has Bolin initially develop a crush on her, Prince Wu flirting with her, receiving a come on from Tahno and a mutual attraction with Mako. By the series end she's also managed to attract Asami which she happily reciprocates. Asami herself garners attention from Korra, Prince Wu, Mako, and Meelo.
  • In Making Fiends, Vendetta seems to get some attention from other girls. Charlotte is convinced that she is her best friend, reaching obsessive, stalker-like levels. Charlotte has also complimented Vendetta's looks. In a TV episode, Vendetta had to temporarily leave her house and stayed with Marion, who she pretended to be close friends with to spite Charlotte. This not only made Charlotte sad, but also caused Marion to feel horrible when Vendetta said she meant nothing to her, not to mention Marion temporarily turned evil due to her influence. In the web episodes, there was Rubella, a fiend made to replace Vendetta's former bodyguard, Grudge. When Vendetta thinks she has killed Charlotte off, she and Rubella go off to torture the town residents with fiends. Rubella feels so close to her, that she buys her a musical toy bear that looks like something you'd give out Valentine's Day. Too bad Rubella didn't know she was melophobic...
  • Tiny Toon Adventures: One short called "Can't Buy Me Love" has Elmyra meet an evil little girl called Rhoda. Elmyra sees hearts and positively MELTS when Rhoda says she'll let her be her best friend, and spends the rest of the picture bending over backwards to make Rhoda like her. It plays VERY much like any episode where Elmyra chases Max, only way more seriously, and heck, Elmyra even lets Rhoda HAVE Max (who doesn't want him after mere moments). And after she learns her lesson about not needing to give someone something so they'll like you, Rhoda comes by her window and says she'll be her friend again if Elmyra steals her mom's car keys and drives her to Utah. Instantly Elmyra says "okay" and rushes off eagerly to Rhoda's side. So not only is Elmyra completely infatuated with Rhoda, but apparently Rhoda can't leave Elmyra alone for five minutes, even after Elmyra dumped her.
  • Played straight with Queen Bee in Young Justice. Batman mentions that she possesses the power to seduce and brainwash most men "and some women."

    Real Life
  • Porn star Jenna Jameson, who is openly bisexual claims that Cindy Crawford once hit on her at a party:
"Once the lights and the camera switched off, the party began. I sat down with my new best friend, Cindy Crawford and we talked. However, I kept getting a weird vibe from her. I knew what it meant, because I experienced it many times before, but I kept dismissing it. It couldn't be true: she was Cindy Crawford, after all. When I turned my back to her to talk to an E! crew member sitting on my left, Cindy reached over and rubbed the back of my neck. "Ooh", she cooed 'look at your beautiful tattoo!". She {Crawford] touched my neck so softly and sensually. Was she making a pass at me? I froze. It was too much. She was so larger than life that I couldn't even imagine running my tongue along that trademark mole of hers. So I excused myself to get a drink."
  • Marilyn Monroe: The then 16-year-old president of her fan club, Jane Lawrence is a lesbian and claims to have slept with Ms. Monroe and enjoyed the confidence and the hunger that she displayed in bed. It's also believed that Marilyn also slept with Joan Crawford and Marlene Dietrich.

  • The Takarazuka Revue has plenty of swooning ladies for fans, otokoyaku (male role actresses) more so than musumeyaku (female role actresses).

Alternative Title(s): Even Girls Want Her
