(Counterclockwise) Miu, Hanto, Ren, Sosuke, Saki, Gunpei and Hiroto. * Do they look serious? Don't worry; you won't recognize them from the poster once the show starts.
"Pressing forward on the road of Justice!"
The Super Sentai series for 2008, and the 32nd entry.
Including the earth humans live in, the Human World, there are 11 Alternate Dimensions altogether. Three Engines from the Machine World crossed dimensions in pursuit of the three Ministers of the Gaiark, a machine clan which thrives on pollution. They're found in the Human World, which the Ministers plan to conquer through pollution. Finding out that they can only stay in their giant forms for a small period, the Engines' navigator robot, Bomper, recruited three people at a racing circuit to become the Go-ongers to fight together with the Engines. They're soon joined by two more people who see them in action. Some time later, a pair of ESPer twins connected to Engines also appeared: Though they had frictions initially, they joined the crew as well.
Vehicles and racing are chosen as the themes for the Rangers, and the motif is about Ecology; the three Gaiark Ministers represent land, water and air pollutions respectively.
Originally unintended to be contractually bound to its US version, Go-onger was... weird. The series took a sharp turn to comedy, sacrificing a significant plotline for Running Gags, Character Exaggerations, and overall tried to be much Lighter And Softer than an average Super Sentai title. For many, this came off as a polarizing shift in the wake of the dark and story-heavy previous series. It didn't help that people weren't informed beforehand about the series being a deliberate attempt at comedy. The incorporated Green Aesop was also seen by some as a bit preachy. That's not to say it's all bad; there are many moments where it's genuinely fun, funny, or both, especially when looked past the seemingly childish premise. It also plays a lot of Anime and Super Sentai tropes very often, even to the brink of parody. In short, whether it's a Widget Series of the franchise or a modern-day Carranger will depend on each viewer.
And remember: This series is comedy. We're supposed to laugh!
" Adapted" for American audiences as Power Rangers RPM.

- Water Pollution Minister, Kegareshia: The sexy Dark Chick.
- Air Pollution Minister, Kitaneidas
- All Your Powers Combined: "Super Highway Buster!"
- Kagami *
Mirror Banki in GP 10 has aspects of all three Ministers.
- In one of the last episodes, the Monster Of The Week is made up of spare parts from his predecessors.
- A Mech By Any Other Name: Engines.
- Base Of Operations: The Ginjiro *
Ginjiro-go; the "go" here being a common suffix added to vehicles. : Also a Clown Car Base, given the number of people, mecha, and pieces of merchandise they're able to fit in there.
- By The Power Of Greyskull: All in Gratuitous English: "Change Soul; Set! Let's - Go - On!"
- Calling Your Attacks: A bit overboard to the point of being parodic; everything they do about attacks applies here.
- Combination Attack
- Combining Mecha
- Finishing Move: "This one is ours! Last Corner! Engine-Oh - Go-on Grand Prix!"
- "Gonna run you through! Final Lap! GunBir-Oh - GunBir Grand Prix!"
- Five Man Band
- Humongous Mecha: Go-onger currently holds the highest record in Super Sentai for multiple mecha combination in-series *
Not counting outside the TV series. : Engine-Oh G12 with... well, 12 pieces.
- Ironically, the all four "standard" mecha are all 3-piece combinations, with Go-Roader GT being simply a single-piece mecha. So, in a sense, it's also notable for having the highest and lowest component numbers for a mecha in the same series.
- I Am Hero Hear Me Roar: Basically for every combination, but an example; "Engine-Oh, Tune Up! Go-on!"
- Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: "GP" *
Read as "Grand Prix". for episodes. The first two characters in the titles are Kanji, and the rest is in Katakana.
- In The Name Of The Moon: Pushed way Beyond The Impossible: The Rangers *
Separately for Go-ongers and Go-onWings. , the Engines * Including the Prehistoric Engines who can't speak a word; they get subtitles. , the villains and - wait for it - all the Humongous Mecha including Go-Roader GT all have their lines. Short version? EVERYONE.
- First, the Rangers *
When said in Japanese, all their lines end with "-ai", thus making rhymes. :
Sosuke: "Mach Full Force! Go-onRed!" * "Mahha Zenkai! Go-onRed!"
Ren: "Just Correct! Go-onBlue!" * "Zubari Seikai! Go-onBlue!"
Saki: "Smile Blooming! Go-onYellow!" * "Smile Mankai! Go-onYellow!"
Hanto: "Doki Doki * Heart-thumping/Exciting Delight! Go-onGreen!" * "Doki Doki Yukai! Go-onGreen!"
Gunpei: "Dash Dynamic! Go-onBlack!" * "Dash Gokai! Go-onBlack!"
All: "Pressing forward on the Road of Justice! Engine Sentai Go-onger!"
Hiroto: "Break the Limit! Go-onGold!" * "Break Genkai! Go-onGold!''"
Miu: "Sparkling World! Go-onSilver!" * "Kirakira Sekai! Go-onSilver!"
Both: "Take Off! Go-onWings!"
- Then the Engines *
The Prehistoric Engines can't speak human language; theirs are subtitles. :
Speedor: "The highway star with a full tank of courage! Engine Speedor!"
Bus-on: "The safe ride gallant and pure! I be Engine Bus-on!"
BearRV: "The tough girl of charm and guts! Engine BearRV- ya!"
Birca: "The easygoing dreamer! Engine Birca here!"
Gunpherd: "The hard emergency dispatch! This is Engine Gunpherd!"
Carrigator: "The giant chieftain * More accurately, "star" or "leading figure". ! Engine Carrigator- de gozaru!"
Toripter: "Flying free and tricky! Me Engine Toripter!"
Jetras: "The silver air master! Engine Jetras!"
Jumbowhale: "With me, everything is first class! I am Engine Jumbowhale!"
Kishamoth: "Full speed ahead from the ancient times! Engine Kishamoth arriving!"
T-Line: "Ascend * Go uphill ! The Engine of wishes * "Nozomi"; also the fastest Japanese long-distance railway line. , T-Line!"
K-Line: "Descend * Go downhill ! The Engine of light * "Hikari"; also a famous Japanese bullet train. , K-Line!"
- And the Ministers *
Notably, each of them uses a slightly different variation of "I". :
Yogostein: "The ground dried and fissured! I'm * "Ware" the Land Pollution Minister, Yogostein!"
Kegareshia: "The water murky and defiled! I'm * "Warawa" the Water Pollution Minister, Kegareshia!"
Kitaneidas: "The atmosphere tainted and black! I'm * "Watashi" the Air Pollution Minister, Kitaneidas!"
- As if the concept hasn't been lampooned enough already, Yogostein, Hiramechimedes and Happa *
Dynamite Banki struck the final blow in GP 17.
Yogostein: "The one who hatefully pollutes the land! Earth Pollution Minister Yogostein -nari!"
Hiramechimedes: "I gain a flash of brilliance through pok-pok-ping *! Earth Pollution Vice-Minister Hiramechimedes!"
Happa Banki: "No. 1 ruffian of Earth Pollution! Happa Banki!"
- Law Of Chromatic Superiority: Sosuke is the only who can control Kyoretsu-Oh efficiently, because no one else can understand what the Prehistoric Engines say.
- Make My Monster Grow: "Industrial Revolution!": KO'd Bankiju can use the Bikkurium capsule inside them to grow to giant size. It's possible for them to shrink back when it runs out. They're also not above activating it before KO.
- Mecha Expansion Pack: Engine-Oh-Birca and Engine-Oh-Gunpherd.
- Mooks: Uguts.
- The Movie
- The Narrator: A new change of pace: There's no fixed narrator this year. all the Engines who can speak take turns narrating.
- On The Next Episode Of Catch Phrase
- Regular Caller: Bomper, whose sensors can detect Gaiark appearances.
- Robot Buddy
- Super Mode
- Supervillain Lair: The Hellgaille Palace.
- Theme Music Power Up
- Transformation Trinket
- Transforming Mecha
- Weapon Of Choice
- Aloof Ally: Hiroto and Miu.
- Anime Hair: Sosuke.
- Ascended Fanboy: Hiroto is a Gattai * maniac.
- A Worldwide Punomenon: The series is very, very rich when it comes to puns. Some may be boring, but some are fun.
- Scoop Banki in GP 3 mistook the place he's supposed to strike for a hill *
His actual target was "Neo Tokyo Hills". .
- Backronym: At first glance, Bomper's name sounds like a twist of "Bumper", especially because the vehicle theme. But then we find out that it actually stands for "Born-to Outerdimension and Mechanic × Pitcrew-type ENGINE-support Robot".
- Bad Boss: Yogoshimacritein, who fires through two of his Quirky Miniboss Squad to hit the Go-ongers. He even denounced his (dead) son as a useless failure.
- Base On Wheels: The Ginjiro.
- Batman Gambit: GP 22 is basically about Hiramechimedes and Hiroto trying to out-gambit each other. Pretending to be exiled by Yogostein, fatally injured and all, Hiramechimedes tells the Go-ongers that he wanted to race Hiroto to Hellgaille Palace as his last wish. Hiroto accepted, and knowing him awfully well, had everything prepared. Hiramechimedes finally outwitted them, but there's one thing he didn't calculated about: Go-ongers *
Well, they didn't follow him because they suspect him; on the contrary, they came to cheer for both of them. .
- Benevolent Boss: Despite being the villains, the Gaiark Ministers are surprisingly nice. Their monsters may lose to the Go-ongers' tactics and have to retreat, but if they did well, they praise them. Now that's a boss. *
- Just to drop the anvil; Yogostein personally mourns over Hiramechimedes' death. And that guy's supposed to be the villain!
- Beware The Nice Ones: The Go-ongers may be simple, gullible and headstrong Idiot Heroes who
can't do not plan ahead, but it's not an advisable course of action to take advantage of them. Hiramechimedes learned it the hard way.
- Boring Invincible Hero: Averted painfully for Sosuke as an Aesop. In GP 8, while helping Speedor recover from a bad rust, Sosuke kept believing that a miracle will happen, since they're the heroes; nothing happened. In the end, he decided to make miracles happen, rather than waiting for them.
- Butt Monkey: Hanto.
- Catchphrase: "Go-on!" for everyone; perhaps even too often.
- "Go-onger - Checker Flag!"
- "Go-onWings - Touchdown!"
- Sosuke, Ren and Saki in particular; Their catchphrases "Mach", "Zubari" and "Smile, Smile." make their way into their daily conversations more than any prior Super Sentai character's possibly could.
- Hanto and his "Doki doki". Not as often as the other three, but that's not saying much.
- Hiramechimedes' "Pok-pok-PING! I just had a flash of brilliance!"
- Chekovs Gun: The giant gear in the Gaiark base with their symbol on it: Humorously named "Deus Haguruma Gear" *.
- Chuck Yeager: A pilot who never loses his cool? A good description for Hiroto!
- Cloudcuckoolander: Hanto. Oh god, Hanto.
- Completely Different Title: The Korean dub refers to the show as "Power Rangers: Engine Force".
- Completely Missing The Point: This one conversation excerpt from GP 26.
(Voice): Young lady. Please receive my love.
Saki: Could this be... a sudden confession?! Oh my.
Miu: This is too sudden... I have to consult with Ani.
Nigoru: My beautiful... BearRV.
(Silence)
Saki: So BearR is the one you're confessing to?
Miu: Hey! That's not what you should be surprised about. Look, it's Nigoru!
- Compliment Backfire: In GP 14, Hanto, smitten with Kegareshia's Paper Thin Disguise human-form, complimented her as a "Beautiful" and "Pure" person. Being a Gaiark who loves filthiness, she didn't take it well.
- Cool Plane: Toripter, Jetras and Jumbowhale; the only members of the Wing Race we get to see, given their rarity. So, in principle, the whole Wing Race can count as Cool Planes.
- Crossdresser: Not a direct example, but the effect is pretty much the same. GP 26: In a plan to retrieve BearRV's Soul, which she willingly gave to Nigoru after proposing to her, Jetras went into BearRV's Cast to fool him into believing that the real one is actually at large.
- GP 38: Saki and Miu "hid" the guys paralyzed because of a Bankiju... by dressing them up as mannequins ''in the front showcase of a women's clothing store. Perhaps the Ginjiro is too small?
- Crowning Moment Of Awesome: GP 7: Being chomped down alive by the misunderstood Carrigator, Gunpherd told Gunpei to run away. Gunpei refused; they're partners and if they die, they'll die together. This camaraderie impressed Carrigator, who previously didn't think high of humans, and he joined the team, giving access to GunBir-Oh.
- GP 9: Saki and Hanto faced off against a large horde of Uguts in an abandoned factory, starting with a chaing-swing entrance a la Tarzan and using whatever they can to their advantage. They're in a totally different dimension which supresses their power to transform, mind you.
- The debut of Engine-Oh G6 in GP 10. Ren deserves the credit too, since it happened from his idea and effort.
- The whole GP 11 for Gunpei: With the whole town, including his friends, under hypnotic suggestions of Antenna Banki through TVs, he himself wanted by the police, and the whole team on the verge of being disbanded, he stood up to the Monster Of The Week alone while shouting that his friends won't be held back by lies and facades. His Nakama speech did snap them out of the spell completely, and they came to his rescue at the last moment.
- The Engines overcoming their fear of Hiramechimedes in GP 15, after which everyone worked together according to Saki's plan to take him down. It succeeded. Although it proved to be insufficient to defeat him, this is the first time they were able to match him ever since he first appeared.
- Gunpei has yet another in GP 19, when he realized that he's neither a "pro" nor an "amateur"; he should just leave it to his instincts like he always did. He actually pulled through, and this impressed the Wings, whom he was trying to unsuccessfully convince early in the episode that they're not wimps.
- The team's victory over Detaramedes *
Hiramechimedes gone insane from Bikkurium self-overload. in GP 23 can definitely qualify. Sosuke in particular deserves the biggest credit, because it's his Hot Blooded Idiot Hero antics that saved Engine-Oh G9, and defeated Detaramedes.
- Crowning Moment Of Funny: Oh yes.
- Yogostein forgot to declare war on humans until GP 3, despite letting the Monsters Of The Week run amok much earlier.
- In GP 4, Gunpei tries to make a deal with a kid who accidentally got Gunpherd's Engine Cast. Being a roughneck, he's bad with kids, so he selected the method of approaching a Mafioso as Gunpherd suggests: In the classic drug-dealer ensemble, with a case full of candies. It didn't end well.
- Gunpei again, in his lip-reading session of fail in GP 6.
- Hanto and Gunpei's lake search in GP 7. The highlight of the scene is their surprised faces when something suddenly jumped out of the lake.
- GP 12 is a Crowning Episode Of Funny: Sosuke and the Monster Of The Week switched minds; it was hilarious!
-
Pretty much Everything Hanto did in GP 14 in order to get back to wooing Rena-san * Unbeknownst to everyone, Kegareshia in disguise. : He broke the others from Enlightened * Kama * Bath-heater Banki's hot spring illusion, proceeded to curb-stomp him singlehandedly, guided the others with their poses and team attacks, and fired the Super Highway Buster at it alone. As if it's not enough, he grabbed the Engine Cast from the Ginjiro before Sosuke finished asking Bomper for them, but then he mixed up the Engine Soul and Engine Cast combinations. * It's either a big WTF moment or a really hilarious one, depending on whether you're used to Super Sentai norms to know what they're spoofing.
- Everyone trying to come up with a way to counter Oil Banki's slippery hazard in GP 16. They finally chose giant mops to wipe the oil with.
- All the ghost mishaps in GP 24, courtesy of the Not-Quite-Dead
Hiramechimedes Urameshimedes.
- When Saki asked Miu in GP 26 if she ever had feelings for anyone, Miu remembers the earlier battle where she summoned all her energy to save Sosuke. Then being the Tsundere she is, she starts to scratch the flashback off the screen, complete with Saki asking what she's doing.
- Again in GP 26, but this time in the ending. After BearRV rejected Jetras after his one instance of "crossdressing" creeped her out, she said that there are lots of handsome guys around her that she can choose from. The boys, observing the situation from a distance, all quickly retreat the moment they heard her. Hiroto's reaction was especially funny.
- Crowning Moment Of Heartwarming: GP 8: Frustrated that miracles don't exist *, Sosuke runs off. Speedor, ill and stuck in the toy-size because of the rust, crawls after Sosuke in order to cheer him up. He tells Sosuke him that there are miracles; that's why they met.
- Ren gets one in GP 25. When a statue which was an important part of his childhood is revealed to be a Gaiark member, he initially refuses to believe, and stops the others from destroying it. But when the statue awakens and begins to endanger his "family members", he makes up his mind and finally destroys it himself. What pushes the scene is a soft melody playing in the background, instead of an upbeat action theme.
- Crowning Music Of Awesome: A lot of tracks. Go-onger has a really nice soundtrack in general, but to specify:
- The opening song. Good for a sing-along and better as a Theme Music Power Up.
- Engine-Oh's theme. *
Different from the grandly Hot Blooded ones by Akira Kushida, the veteran for songs like this.
- Go-onWings' saxophone-based Leitmotif.
- Dancing Theme: We have loads to go by. Just one thing: It's the same tune.
- Deadpan Snarker: Hiroto, noticeably after he accepted the Go-ongers.
- Enemy Mine: One episode has the Gaiark teaming up with the Go-ongers/Go-on Wings to sing music at a monster. It's also Better Than It Sounds.
- Evil Is Sexy: Kegareshia. PERIOD: Deadly sexy? Check. Stripperific costume? Check. Dominatrix whip? Oh hell, check.
- Fan Nickname: "Forehead" for Gunpei; for his enormous plateau and a close-up shot of his face
◊ in the ending sequence.
- "Piper" for Kegareshia. Because her pipe costume, and her actress' former AV *
Adult Video career.
- "Chicken Hopper" for Hiroto, whose actor played "Kamen Rider Kick Hopper" in Kamen Rider Kabuto; and because he pilots Toripter, a chicken mecha.
- Freaky Friday: The Engine Souls aren't strictly for their original Casts, so the potential is there.
- Hanto actually did it to the Engines in GP 14. Hilarity Ensues. Among others, Birca doesn't seem to mind.
- Saki and Miu used it again in GP 26, this time for a rather serious plan.
- Also happened to Hatsuden Banki and Sosuke. While Sosuke was able to use the opportunity to foil one of Gaiark's plans, Hatsuden Banki wasn't as lucky.
- Genius Bruiser: Both Ren and Hiroto, but with differences: Ren inclines more towards "Genius", and Hiroto's more of "Bruiser".
- Hiramechimedes also qualifies, although like Ren, he's more of a "Genius". He does and can fight, but isn't very sturdy.
- Genki Girl: Saki.
- Genre Savvy: Hiroto is overall pretty Genre Savvy, especially when it comes to fighting.
- GP 6: Up aginst a Bankiju who spams sound waves? Just bring earplugs! You won't hear anything though.
- GP 17: After being finished off by Go-onWings, Happa Banki tried to go Industrial Revolution. He couldn't; during the battle, Hiroto managed to pull out his Bikkurium capsule. Oh Crap.
- Get It Over With: Lampooned splendidly: Spray Banki in GP 4 followed this trope literally to heart, counting one to three after declaring that he'll finish off Ren and Saki. Naturally, he's stopped at the last moment by Sosuke.
- Getting Crap Past The Radar: GP 14: While Hanto was ogling at Kegareshia under a human disguise, Sousuke just had to choose that moment to place a big log in front of him. Upright. And just to hammer it home, Hanto later used the Super Highway Buster *
A really long BFG in and of itself. all by himself.
- Gratuitous English: All the Engines have a particular phrase about themselves, but Jumbowhale in particular, considering he's a passenger jet.
Jumbowhale: " Attenshun puriisu! * "Attention please!" "
- Green Lantern Corps: There are countless other Engines in the Engine World which, from how they look, seem perfectly capable of anything the hero Engines can do.
- Heroes Prefer Swords: Sosuke, of course.
- Hey Its That Guy: Wait a minute! Isn't Kegareshia... Nao Oikawa? .........Yeah, we ''know'' her, okay?
- Hey Its That Voice: Daisuke Gouri, voice of Mr. Satan, Robin Mask and Bass Armstrong as the "Kettei (definitive) Banki."
- Hot Blooded: Sosuke. Gunpei also has some traits.
- Ho Yay: Hanto and Gunpei.
- Idea Bulb: Hiramechimedes has real bulbs on his head. Three, in fact!
- Idiot Hair: Saki's hair pops up from time to time at unexpected moments. It's not permanent though.
- Infinite Supplies: The only explanation for everything the Go-ongers, excluding Hiroto and Miu, run on *
Despite not working because of full-time hero activity. ; the obvious cost for daily meals, gas for the Ginjiro and electricity for all those supercomputers in the Clown Car Base, and we haven't even gotten to all those equipments and repairs...
- Insufferable Genius: Both Hiroto and Hiramechimedes. Guess there's a reason they're arch-nemeses...
- Insult Backfire: Intentionally inverted with the Gaiark: Being the ones to thrive on pollution, they love anything dirty; literally or metaphorically.
- I Work Alone: How Hiroto and Miu started out.
- Jerk Ass: Hiroto, and Miu to a lesser extent, when they first appeared.
- Lethal Chef: Saki averts and plays this trope straight. The aversion is her sweets; they look suspicious at first sight, but actually taste good. The straight example is pretty much anything else; she uses too much sugar.
- Lightning Can Do Anything: Played straight in GP 12: Hatsuden *
Generator Banki's lightning switched its mind with Sosuke's.
- Magic From Technology: A student in GP 42 modified his laptop to function as a spellbook. It actually works.
- Meadow Run: Spoofed in GP 26 with Saki and Miu; they did run towards each other but since they're actually meeting up for a plan to save BearRV, there was no hugging or kissing. Not that it stopped the shippers...
- Meaningful Name: The Ministers have parts of the words related to pollution in their names; Yogostein *
"Yogosu"/"Pollute" , Kegareshia * "Kegare"/"Impurity" and Kitaneidas * "Kitanai"/"Foul" . * Interestingly, all three words derive from the same Kanji.
- And Hiramechimedes: His name comes from "Hirameki" *
"Flash", i.e: an idea. and "Achimedes", tying him to his mathematics and strategy themes.
- My Name Is Not Durwood: Hiramechimedes, whose names Go-ongers initially mistake. Only Ren remembers his name right, much to his delight.
- Mythology Gag: The second line of opening lyrics say "Ichi, Ni, San, Shi, Go-onger!": The Catch Phrase of SunVulcan was "Ichi, Ni, Sun *
Sounds exactly the same as "San"/"Three". Vulcan!".
- Narm: Yogostein's funeral in GP 37, especially because of the Mooks' electronic crying voices.
- Neat Freak: Prince Nigoru *
Who, in the BIGGEST of ironies, a member of the Water Pollution branch and part of a Gaiark Royal Family. , who just loves everything a Gaiark can possibly hate; hygiene, beauty and love, among other things. This trait of his is what prompted the patriotic Kegareshia to leave him to die when he lost against Saki and Miu.
- Nightmare Fuel: Some consider Gunpei's close-up shot
◊ as one.
- You think that's scary?! Try THIS
◊ one!
- One that actually gives you goosebumps: Anyone "photographed" by Camera Banki gets sent to the Junk World, where Uguts await in a secret facility to turn them into more Uguts.
- Noblewomans Laugh: Miu used it a few times.
- Nonindicative Name: Try taking Hiramechimedes' attacks seriously after hearing him say the names. *
Do note that they're freakishly strong.
"Circumference Ratio: Pi Beam!"
"Isosceles Right-Triangle Slash!"
- Omake: "Go-on Seminar!"
- One Two Three Four Go: The lyrics in particular take the direct approach; "Ichi, Ni, San, Shi, Go-onger".
- One Winged Angel: Hiramechimedes in GP 23 and Yogostein in GP 35-36.
- Only Mostly Dead: Hiramechimedes' grudge on Go-ongers made him linger on as a "Yurei" *
Vengeful spirit .
- Paper Thin Disguise: Kegareshia appears in different human clothings now and then... for whatever reasons there currently is. But whatever she's dress as, the tap on her head is a dead giveaway. Not that anyone ever noticed...
- Pokemon Speak: Somewhat overlaps with Say My Name, and arguably, Verbal Tic; the Engines and the Bankiju say their names quite often, but aren't limited to them.
- Power Limiter: The Engines can stay in their true giant forms for only ten minutes, after which they immediately split back into the Engine Souls and Engine Casts.
- Power Source: The large spinning gear in the background of Gaiark base turned out to be an unlimited power source.
- Punch Clock Villain: For villains, the Gaiark Ministers are more antagonistic than actually evil for the most part; the reason they're the bad guys is because pollution is vital for their race and they just happened to choose the Human World for it, which puts them on the different side of the coin from the Go-ongers. The Enemy Mine episode is one instance. So, when it's their turn to die, it was quite sad, especially after what Kegareshia and Kitaneidas said with their last breath. *
- In the same vein, even Hiramechimedes can count. Originally a second-rate member of Gaiark, he initially planned to assassinate Yogostein to take his position. But then, to his surprise, Yogostein offered him the position of second-in-command... which prompted him to completely devote his entire self to his Minister without question. After beaten again and again by Go-ongers, he finally threw away his precious mind by overloading himself with Psycho Serum to match them with raw power, despite Yogostein's plea. All for his master right until his last moment... *sniff* Pardon me...
- Rearrange The Song: Ladies and gentlemen; welcome to the Den-O of Super Sentai *.
- The main one has twelve different verses, one per Engine, split across four "Laps".
- "Engine First Lap -Type Normal-" *
Speedor, Bus-on and BearRV
- "Engine Second Lap -Turbo Custom-" *
Birca, Gunpherd and Carrigator
- "Engine Third Lap -Aero Dynamic Custom-" *
Toripter, Jetras, Jumbowhale
- "Engine Final Lap -Type Evolution-" *
Kishamoth, T-Line, K-Line
- "Engine Eco Rap -Recycle Custom-"; Green Aesop.
- "Engine Formation Rap -GekijoBANG! Custom!-"; The Movie mix.
- "G3 Princess Rap ~PRETTY LOVE☆Limited~"; just... don't ask.
- "G5 Prince Rap ~BONpaie★Limited~"; same as above, except with the boys.
- Robot Girl: Kegareshia actually has machinery under her skin.
- Secret Identity: Essentially discarded this time: Go-ongers have no qualms about revealing their identities or having them discovered. In fact, some of them even outright said it to people at some point. People even seem to know that the Go-ongers exist. They even have an online fansite. With ratings for all 7.
- Shout Out: During the brief moment we get to see the Engine World in GP 1, there's a race going on and lots of Engines are watching from the side.
- Sosuke uses a sideway kick pretty often.
- Kagami Banki
◊; Terminator ◊. Coincidence? *
- That's not the only thing Kagami Banki is reminding of; according to the Ministers, it's the result of their "Power, Courage and Wisdom".
- Not only does Hiroto use punches for his fighting style, he used
◊ a Rider Sting-ish punch in his debut battle, all in its golden-yellow glory * Kamen Rider TheBee's primary color scheme. .
- Nothing about the Earth Pollution roll call?
- When Jumbowhale first appeared over the burning building in GP 20, Sosuke asked; "Is it a bird? Is it a plane?".
- Prince Nigoru's rapier technique ends with a Zorro-ish letter cut; except that it's an N, and it's sideways.
- During Prince Nigoru and BearRV's date, he plugged her Soul into a console vaguely reminding of the NES, with the cartridge sticking out upright.
- In GP 26's Go-on Seminar, Sosuke backs off, saying there's a Yokai nearby, when he sees Miu's hair standing upright.
