Drakyndra is a former TV Tropes lurker who realised she probably ought to actually become a member when she had to continually refrain from referring to tropes when talking to her English Lecturer.
You may know her from such fandoms as Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Wars and absolutely anything by Terry Pratchett, Jasper Fforde or Douglas Adams. Jim Butcher is also rather nifty.
She has recently (for certain values of recent) gotten into Anime and Manga (Full Metal Alchemist, Princess Tutu and many, many, many many others.) and Comics (Mostly DC, but there are others).
If you want to see her Squee like a crazy person, her current favourite characters of extreme AWESOMENESS are Martha Jones and Jaime Reyes. And Vash, the poor darling.
Drakyndra can currently be found procrastinating on a computer near you. Or trying to get people to watch the glorious crack that is Batman The Brave And The Bold.
Drakyndra's Shiny New Thing(s) of the Week: New Fullmetal Alchemist. My first ever anime love is back!
And now Code Geass, too, which is a lot of fun (Though I am raising my eyebrows at some of the Fan Dumb. Particularly regarding the character hate, since I found the show itself did a pretty good job of making most of the characters sympathetic but still very flawed.)
