Casey Kasem is a Lebanese-American broadcaster and animation voice actor. Besides his radio program,
American Top 40, Kasem has done character voices for
Saturday morning cartoons, most notably
Scooby-Doo (as Shaggy) and
Filmation's version of
Batman (as Robin, a role he carried over into
Superfriends). He portrayed Cliffjumper and Bluestreak in the generation one
Transformers tv series and reprised Cliffjumper in the 1986 film. He was also the off-camera quizmaster on the U.S. version of
100%, and the announcer for
NBC's Saturday Morning
Ad Bumpers.
