* ''WesternAnimation/{{Fantaghiro}}: ''“Tree World” introduces Arigato the flying ant, who crash-lands '''constantly'''. Oddly, Arigato is actually perfectly agile and graceful in the air; [[AmbiguousGender they]] just can’t land properly.

** It might have been InTheBlood. Anakin crash-lands a Naboo N-1 starfighter into the hangar of a Trade Federation Droid Control Ship in ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'', an Eta-2 interceptor into the hangar of the ''Invisible Hand's'' hangar bay in ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'', and finally the ''[[RuleOfThree Invisible Hand]]'' [[ComingInHot into a spaceport on Coruscant]]. The latter two incidents happened within 20 minutes of each other during the film's prologue, mind you.

[[note]] In fairness, ''Invisible Hand'' was so badly damaged Obi-Wan initially thought it couldn't be landed ''at all'' [[/note]] The latter two incidents happened within 20 minutes of each other during the film's prologue, mind you.

* [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesley_Sullenberger Chesley Burnett "Sully" Sullenberger III]] is a rare good pilot remembered for this. On January 15, 2009, after bird hits took out the engines of his Airbus A320, he calmly landed in the Hudson river - ''saving the lives of all 155 people on the aircraft''. As air traffic controllers panicked and continued to offer him alternate landing places, Captain Sullenberger calmly told them "We'll be in the Hudson". [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE_5eiYn0D0 Listen to him here.]] While this was his only crash, he fits the trope well in this instance and is honorably remembered for it. Especially for the fact that [EverybodyLives all passengers and crew survived]].

* ''VideoGame/OuterWilds:'' Feldspar is known as the greatest pilot in the space program, and their list of achievements and discoveries more than backs that up. They also seem to lack any sense of self-preservation when it comes to piloting: their first space flight involved a "breathtakingly liberal definition of flight" which ended with only the pilot's seat remaining. Their exploration logs actually keep a list of all of the times they've crashed, separated into "crashes" and "boring crashes". [[spoiler:You can find them in Dark Bramble, where they've gotten stranded after wrecking their ship while fleeing an anglerfish.]]
-->'''Feldspar:''' Yeah, that's right, I'm alive. Been camping out here since my ship, uh, y'know. Crashed. Violently.\\
'''Hatchling:''' You crashed? But you're the greatest pilot in Hearthian history!\\
'''Feldspar:''' I haven't lived in polite society for a while, so I'm just going to go ahead and assume that wasn't sarcasm.
