** [[ChildProdigy Lisa]] also falls victim to this trope. In "Picture Perfect", Lincoln tries to make Lisa look "perfect" for the family photo reshoot by removing her glasses, and she ends up falling down the stairs. In "Making The Grade", Lisa applies laser eye surgery in order to look "normal" among Lincoln's classmates. At the end of the episode, when Lisa decides to go back to Kindergarten, she goes back to wearing glasses despite having self-applied laser eye surgery.
