When a large corporation wants to show its human face, they run ads with a montage of actual employees who all enthusiastically voice their affiliation to the Grand Enterprise of the company ("I'm Monsters Incorporated!").

Compare with We Care.

Examples:

  • Parodied in Monsters Inc. (We Scare Because We Care)
  • Used in a least one Simpsons comic with "Globex Corporation - We Dominate Because We Care"
  • Truth In Television ... "We're Beatrice."
  • Allstate Insurance, "We're the good hands people".
  • "I am Amway!" This series of commercials, coincidentally started around the time that former Amway CEO Dick DeVos was running for governor of Michigan.
  • The Wolfram & Hart video from the "Harm's Way" episode of Angel.
  • Chevron Corporation is trying to encourage people to use less oil - probably to get around more windfall profit taxes or to encourage Good Public Relations for an "oil company" - and has a website "Will you join us?" Keep it up and they will need someone to join them, as they'll be broken up and out of business!
