Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is a Massachussetts-born writer of young adult books. She had her first book when she was in her early teens, and has published one book every year since 1999. The books she has published include the Nyeusigrube or Den of Shadows books, Urban Fantasy novels which mostly take place in Massachusetts and involve vampires, shapeshifters, and the like, and the Kiesha'ra series, which focuses on the falcon, avian, and serpiente shapeshifters.
