Hey, It's That Voice! Discussion
Kudos to whomever did this rebuild. This is much less unwieldy.

That Other 1 Dude: Rossiu was actually voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, not Chris Patton. I'm assuming that was about the ADV Films dub that was cut.
Adam850:removed- " , while Lucario 's US version VA did Goku in the US version of DBZ. Does this mean that Lucario's power level is around...8500? (A balance of the Japanese version of the Scouter-breaking scene, where the break point was 8000, and the US version at over 9000.) *** Actually, Bill Rogers did the voice of Lucario in SSBB. The voices were done by Pokemon USA, not 4Kids, which Schemmel worked with."

Mega Troop X: Okay, I got the page rebuilt. It may be about time for a split, this thing is huge.
  • Why do people keep breaking this?! This is the second time since sunday night someone had come along and destroyed the page by mass-selecting then hitting a key and sending the whole mess. If you make a mistake, hit "cancel edit", not "send"!

Sean Tucker: Feel free to folderize the Apocalypse Zero section if it's too unwieldy. I don't think it is, but I tend to disagree with the Hive Mind, So Yeah.

Rogue 7: I love how this page is so much longer than Hey Its That Guy.

Nate The Great: Could somebody clump all of the folders at the start of the page in alphabetical order, then put all of the rest after that in alphabetical order as well? It would just make the page look so much more organized.
Mullon: If I tried organizing all of these by the last name of the voice actor and only that, would anybody mind?
Bat1701: Wow, it's been a while since I've been here, and yeesh this page has gotten massive. I folderized everything, which unfortunately meant I had to unfolderize the folderized stuff in the anime section, but I gave that stuff an extra indent and some space apart from the others, so it still looks kinda nice. There are a few little ticks I have to go back and clean up (especially in anime) that I'll get to after I get back from my class I'm headed off to. I think in the anime section, I'm going to take all the actors who originally had folders and put them at the top, and who knows, maybe by then I'll have figured out how to nest folders in subsections.

Mullon: I spent all day yesterday trying to alphabetize all of the anime by copying and pasting ontp a notepad. I stopped after the anime because I was tired. Then I come in the enext day and find that YOU had done it all already. I got pissed and deleted all your stuff and put my stuff in. And it looked like shit. Alphabetized shit, but shit anyway. I think part of the problem was I tried to put everyone in a folder. Also it was eighty degress out and no AC. So I put everything back the way you had it, everything should be fine now. Though I still ahve the aplhabetized list list with all the folders taken out. Good luck with the Western Animation, I was stumped on how to do that since a lot of it is organized by show.

Bat1701: Yeah, I tried to put everyone in a folder at first too, but it didn't work. If you still have the alphabetized list and want to use it, just take out all the folder tags and bold the voice actors' names instead. Then just leave a couple spaces in between each entry and it should look okay. But, y'know, you've given me an idea for Western Animation. Since we can make as many folders as we need to, how about having one folder sorted by show and one by VA? I think I'll see what I can do with that. It might even be a good idea to try and do that with the Anime as well because that entry is massive!

Mullon: That could work. You see, what I was trying to do was alphabetizing all of them because I thought there was too much overlap, and having them all organized by VA would solve that. But I couldn't figure out what to do about all the ones sorted by show. But having two lists, one by show and one by VA would solver that, though it would twice as much work. Oh, and I only have the anime VA sorted, I still have to do the other categories. I could sort the rest of them, but I don't want to get in your way.

Bat1701: No worries. I don't feel especially territorial or anything so it's all cool if you want to do something. I do have a feeling though, once I finally get the western animation sorted out (I'm only about halfway through sorting by VA), that, instead of folders, this page will have to be broken up into separate pages, like the Nightmare Fuel pages. It'll just be too much for one page, and from reading the above discussion, I can see this page has already been crashed several times.

Mullon: That sounds good. I'll just keep working on a VA master list, you know, all the ones where the names are explicitly mentioned.
Dentaku: What the heck happened to this page? It's all messed up and missing stuff that was there before. Where did the Bamboo Blade example go to, for example?
Mullon: Hey um, I did it. I made one giant massive list of everybody organized by last name. One gigantic mster list. So, should I overwrite everything and put my list in, or what?

Mullon: Well, I finally finished it. I organized the whole thing. But I made a backup of the old page, so I can put it back if people don't like this page. I thought I would leave it for a bit and see what people think.

LE Xicon 712: give it a little while. let a few tropers fix it up a little and let me put in some jokes lost in the process. PS thanx! this website needs some organization.

Ronnie: Just a little funny bit in the style of the old way that doesn't quite fit now they're all separate. Final Fantasy : The Spirits Within - Mulan, Timmy Turner's future self, Randall, and Cobra Bubbles fight alien ghosts and Hades.

Shadow Queen: Question! Would Akira Ashida count? He does the Japanese voice of Purge in Space Channel 5 Part 2 and the Japanese voice of Gaara in Naruto.

Mullon: That shuld be fine, as long as vices are noiceably familiar. Just create a place for Ahida in the first folder.

What about v for vendetta, we never see v's face, but the voice is quite distinct

Mullon: I guess that's okay, if you put it under Hugo Weaving and say what other movie you recognized his voice from.
