Lion Voltron is better remembered, probably because it was a true Five Man Band.

Also: robot lions == just plain Cool.

Roxana: I still say Pidge is a girl! I mean 'he' wears a hair-ribbon for God's sake!!

White Rose Duelist: Pidge was a girl in the Japanese version. She became a he for the same reason Sven was injured rather than killed.
- Jimmy: Whiterose, whoever told you Pidge was a girl is wrong. He's a boy in Japan too. This is obvious in the episode where they go swimming (which includes the famous "princess loses her bra" scene), in which he swims in boxer shorts. No girl would do that.

Licky Lindsay: I was always confused by the fact that the colors of the uniforms didn't match the colors of the lions. Did they change who flew which lion when they turned Go Lion into Voltron?

Jimmy: No, the color/lion combinations were the same in Go Lion, and it doesn't really make sense there either.
