LE Xicon 712: Are we gonna rename this to Token Little Miss or Token Little Girl?

Kuruni: No, we come to conclusion that this name fit well for girls who has Fan Service trait.
Jisu: Maya, Ema and Trucy are young, but not loli.

osh: The examples seem kind of vague. I thought in the context 'loli' here was a young girl specifically chosen to titillate the fan base, while some examples here are just of normal little girls.

Jisu: They will anyway. And though the definition of "loli" was originally "fetish-bait little girl", it's now just "little girl", probably because of the above.

osh: Yeah. I've noticed the term lately is a description that still deliberately alludes to infamous popularity, even as a joke.

Bright Blue Ink: Does the Ouran example really count? I thought Hani/Honey/Hunny/whatever already had a place on Cute Shotaro Boy.

Rann: Characters can be examples of more than one trope, just because they're cited on one page doesn't mean they can't be on another one too.

Rann: Any explanation on the removal of Chiyo? Oh wait, one was included in the edit. ... An incorrect one. It's a cast show, Chiyo isn't the main character, putting her back.

s5555: Palom and Porom are Token Loli/Shota? If anything, they're more like Token Kid Heroes.
I think Ed from Bebop counts, as that's really the only way that kind of show would do that. She's almost a parody of the token loli.

Also, the entry for Shippo suggests he might be the 'rare' male version, but in the 70s EVERYBODY had a token kid as part of their 5 man band... like, especially Gatchaman. I always just thought the token loli evolved from that, just like how most people prefer Robin as a girl now when they reimagine Batman.

Broken Chaos: Slashed the following. It was discussed at length on the forum and this trope is only when the Lolicon or "Big Brother" (protect from evil pedophiles!) demographics are pandered to. Western media almost never has this, and the following (from everything I can find) certainly aren't.

    Comic Books

    Film

    Live Action TV

    Music

    Tabletop Games

    Theater

    Western Animation

Also nuked following from anime (she's not treated as such, at all). Someone else can clean up more of those if they know the respective series.
