Seriously, was issue 157 just a great big ball of Ship Tease or what...

Japanese Teeth: Yeah, pretty much.

The Defenestrator: Wait, a Halo shout-out in an anime? I demand solid evidence.

Crazael: From 15:30 to 15:36 of Episode 4, two images are shown, one is Rito standing in the sunset of a cratered wasteland, holding a gun very similar to the assault rifle from the first game, the other is a shot of a space battle in the shadow of a Gas Giant with part of a Halo-like structure and the Covenant capital station.

Citizen: Haven't watched the anime, but regardless, that is not the way you add examples. This Troper = bad. Corrected.

DH Birr: I question the characterization of Yami as The Woobie. Huggable, yes, eminently so, even though she'd cut me to ribbons for touching her, but I got the impression that pity is part of what you feel for a Woobie. I don't see her as at all pitiable, not even in Blessed With Suck terms.

Catt: The pity part comes in when you realise her backstory is as a reluctant assassin who has never felt love. Though I would like to nominate Ren to the Woobie position. just think about it, and you can't help bu feel sorry for him.
32_Footsteps: At risk of getting shouted down, should we maybe come up with a less extreme description for the mangaka's ex-wife than Complete Monster? I'm in no way condoning any of the woman's action... it's just that when I think of that trope, I think of violent sociopaths and the like. Given everything she did, I suggest Manipulative Bastard... it both gives a better sense of what she did and saves Complete Monster for those more evil than she.

Midonin: No, I agree, remove it. Plus, the person who edited it in seems to have a tendency for over exaggeration in writing.
