Danifesto: "A little known fact is that Tim Curry was originally cast to be the Joker for Batman The Animated Series, but did it too well and frightened people, so Mark Hamil was brought in instead (of course, he's pretty good at it too). Or at least that's what That Other Wiki says."
That ain't the way I heard it. When I was at the 1993 San Diego Comic-Con, I had attended the Batman Panel, and had personally asked the panel why Hamill replaced Curry. Bruce Timm told the audience that maintaining the Joker voice would cause Curry to have ghastly coughing fits between takes. I changed it at The Other Wiki too.
William Wide Web: "Only one man's Beard Of Evil is evil enough to lead the Evil Empire" I disagree, and will do so with only one word: Kane.
Kilyle: I would like to add some tropes that go along with his role in Sylvester Stallone's Oscar - in which he did not die, and was not evil - in fact, one of the least evil characters in the whole movie - but I'm too tired to think of which tropes the character used. Could someone figure them out and add them? (Also, why don't we have a page for Oscar?) |
