The Man Who Knew Too Little Discussion

No Joke launched as TheManWhoKnewTooLittleDiscussion: From YKTTW

From YKTTW

Ununnilium: Okay, people. Write 500 times on the board: "Spoiler text is useless if I hide the name of what I'm spoiling."
Paul A: Hey, I've just realised: Galaxy Quest is Three Amigos ...IN SPACE!

Phartman: You're just now catching that, ese?
Daibhid C: Are the Harry and the Hendersons and Independence Day examples really this trope? Neither of them seem to involve the character being in danger because they don't have all the information, and are acting on this incomplete assumption. They just don't know something. (The H&tH example in particular would suggest that everyone who isn't in on The Masquerade is The Man Who Knew Too Little.)

Frodo Goofball: the Harry and the Hendersons and Independence Day examples have been moved to Masquerade.
