Temporal Mutability Discussion
Working Title: Temporal Mutability: From YKTTW

jabbe3001: It seems to me that the Suzumiya Haruhi example would be more appropriate under Timey-whimey ball because Time-travelers definitely can't change certain events (like those events that led to time-travel being created), and at least one story has a stable time loop. Of course the most recent book used a split timeline. I'd say it's used self-consistent, split timelines, (perhaps rubber band history), and overwriting the timeline.

Citizen: I just came here to say the same thing. There are several stable time loops, a little branching, a little Set Right What Once Went Wrong, etc... Removed.
