Describe Shoot Out The Lock Discussion here.
Duh, you're not supposed to shoot the pad lock itself, you're supposed to shoot the hoop (the metal U that pops up to unlock)

Zeke: You're right about the U thing. When I was in high school, we had a couple of locker-theft scares where the thieves were apparently cutting the U (or "shackle") of locks with a special tool. People started getting these new Dudley locks where the shackle was almost completely hidden
 . Of course, then the thieves switched to cutting off the part of the locker that the lock attaches to...
