Otempora: Quick question — since Dora said that she likes girls a couple of strips back, does that make
No Bisexuals an aversion? Or do we just take it down?
Divine Virus: I feel a strong need to to list this comic as a
Crowning Moment of Awesome for Steve.

I noticed QC does not have a CMOA page, so should I create an entry on the main page for CMOA?
Weimann: I'm curious, what kind of
Flanderization is Hanners subject to? I think she has remained roughly the same level of OCD-wreck consistently through the comic, and OCD people will focus a lot of their attention on their habits.
- I think it has to do with her initial semi-caustic, sarcastic personality (almost like a snarky bad-girl) taking a shift into Woobie-ville with increasingly puppy-dog-esque behavior. It's really notable when you look at her first conversation with Marten. However, since she only stayed that way for a VERY short while, it's a quick case of Flanderization... more like Jeph got the character wrong the first time, and soon 'fixed' it- he even Hung a Lampshade on it once stating that her "medication was off" that time.
Regarding the "[G]lass isn't actually a solid, but an extremely viscous liquid" comment in the
Webcomic Time example that a troper has labeled as
Did Not Do The Research, a quick check on Google ("glass viscous liquid") turned up a few pages on the subject (from .edu sites) that discuss the molecular structure of glasses compared to solids and liquids. Solids have ordered structures that at specific temperatures (melting point) break and flow and transition into liquid. Glasses have rigidly defined unordered structures, and when heated only begin to flow more, without the breaking of the structure.
Jabroniville: I moved the "Put On a Bus" section to "Out of Focus", since y'know, it ACTUALLY APPLIES, because characters return semi-frequently. Put On A Bus means they don't come back at all, or are given a reason for leaving.
- Also edited some of the Natter under Out of Focus & Flanderization, as it was unnecessary corrections and back-and-forth. Now they read a little better, and aren't just a ton of bullet-points.
Count Spatula: Would it be unreasonable to add something along the lines of "You won't have any friends unless you drink." as a
Family Unfriendly Aesop? I've been seeing it in the comic lately, and it's been rather bothering me.
- I say it counts. However, the counter-point is that the cast seems to acknowledge Faye has a drinking problem. Not that it stops them from getting shit-faced with her...
Jabroniville: Some people seem to be Edit-Warring over the
Ensemble Darkhorse classification of Hannelore. Anyone else want to key on on it? I think it partially applies; she was introduced to be a supporting character half-way through the strip's run, and has come to be the most popular. Isn't that the definition of the term? Even if it WAS semi-deliberate on Jacques' part. I put her into
Breakout Character instead, because she's a main character now, not a surprisingly popular backgrounder.
- Hah, Jeph mocked us openly in his Twitter, despite his own site having fans repeatedly talk about it in a positive manner. Wonder what (aside from the Mari/Hannelore Ho Yay-watchers) he was specifically perturbed about? Someone should ask him. Me, I'm thinking about putting up another Family Unfriendly Aesop about his decrying racism, homophobia, etc., while frequently using the word "Retarded" as an insult :).
....aaaaaaand the "Tsundere" T-shirt from strip 1525 is officially mentioned here. The countdown before it appears in Jeph's shop continues....
