- Does Gil really qualify for the Aloof Big Brother (subverted) trope? Apart from being older and not being aloof, he has too little similarity to the trope to be a subversion of it, not to mention he's the one among the Nightray Brothers with the actual Main Character status.
- Die For Our Ship? Really? Where is this? I haven't seen any ship wars or even character bashing in this fandom.
- Necro-whatsit - it's very likely that Sablier!Alice telling Vincent that Gilbert was dead was a tense mistranslation in the scans. Read the passage again. It makes much more sense if she said Gilbert WILL die when Glen uses him as his next body. Add to that Gil's flashbacks where he watches Jack get slashed after the Door was opened (by Vincent, because of what Alice said), it all makes it very unlikely that Vincent brought Gilbert back from the dead. Vincent opening the Door was most likely a way to STOP Gilbert from dying in the first place. And really, it's not like White Alice would do that for him, anyway: she hates them both.
