Big T: So how do people misspell "villain"? It's spelled correctly in both examples. Also, is it really misspelled that often? IMHO, the word "separate" is one of the biggest offenders, being spelled "separate."
Fast Eddie: The last time we did a site-wide search and replace on 'villain' it fixed 300+ instances. Spell-checking browsers will catch 'separate'. Of course, they catch 'villain', too. It would be cool if we could figure how to give a "You could of had a V8!" head-bonk to people who don't use their spell checker. '
Big T: So it's already been fixed, then. That's why it didn't make sense! The only problem with giving the "head-bonk" to everyone who uses IE, unless they've upgraded since the last time I used it.
Duckluck: So, do we have a category for this page besides the Catalog? I never know where to find the style pages when I want to look something up. Keep in mind, I've been using this wiki for over a year, and I still only find this page by accident. Maybe we could make an index for all the rules and style guidelines and link to it on the main page. It might help the newbies learn the ropes faster.
Rissa: Do we put ---- horizontal lines between indexes if there's more than one at the bottom of a page, or no? I've seen it done both ways. |
