A note of interest:
I find Naota's assertion that "Nothing amazing happens here. Everything is ordinary." is one of the most iconic examples of this trope ever, if some what culty. I find it odd that it isn't a second page quote in addition to being top example.
dancecommander: What about linking to Aliensin Cardiff as a related trope? It's basically all about the sort of place where nothing ever happens.
