Lord TNK: A proper William Shatner caricature does not pause between every word. It pauses between the first few, and then runs the rest of the words together.

Can someone clarify from whom the entry on Geass here is about? Is it Kallen's mom?

Shotgun Ninja: I think it's from Kallen herself.

The Gunheart: It's Kallen referring to her Knightmare Frame. Also, the Captain Planet entry sounds way too much like So Bad Its Good, rather than Narm Charm.

Robin Zimm re the cutlisting: Narm is a moment whose intended effect is serious but which is overemphasized to the point of comedy. Narm Charm is (badly named, but definitionally) when the viewer feels the intended effect despite the performance being overboard. If the examples belong in Troper Tales, fine, but there's no need to cut.

Dragon Quest Z: Not to mention the user who put this on doesn't understand what The Same But More means. That would be finding something more Narm than usual.

Man Without A Body: As it is said on the page for The Same But More:

A variant is when someone wants to write "Article X, only good" or "Article X, only bad". Tropes should ideally be value-neutral — otherwise they become bastions of subjectiveness as a borderline work's fans try to get it placed in the "good" pile, while its detractors constantly try to move it into the "bad". This continues, probably interminably.

I still say we should cut this. The page has just become a place for people to say "Everyone says X Scene was bad, but I liked it!"

Dragon Quest Z: No, you are misreading them. They are saying that "The scene was almost stupid, but I liked it despite that", which is the definition of the trope. This isn't "Narm, only good". This is "Almost Narm, but works despite that."
