adam850: Shouldn't this be NaïveNewcomer? I always thought it was "naïve", makes you say ni-eve. Are "ï"s accectable?

TravisWells: I don't know if it's an american thing or an english-speaking thing, but we tend to pretend very hard that accents don't exist :)

Ununnilium: It's annoying to have to type in the accent every time, basically. Plus, for the word naive itself, the accentless spelling has become standard; if you look in the dictionary, it'll usually list the accent as an alternative spelling.
