Doesn't this overlap with Lemon Wacky Hello just a little?

Dark Sasami: Or entirely? How are these different in any way?

osh: Reaching here, but I think in the Mushroom Samba situation the substance is obviously going to cause trouble (or the characters know to treat it that way, inexplicably). Lemon Wacky Hello seems more like it has unintentional sideeffects.

Ununnilium: Dunno if I'm misremembering, but did Transformers characters ever get drunk off Energon?

Kendra Kirai: Actually, yes they did. I'm pretty sure it was a second-season episode...but I'm afraid I can't remember which one. Maybe the one with the gold pond...

LTR It does seem there is some overlap here, Lemon Wacky Hello seems to be a case of characters unknowingly or accidentaly ingesting mind-altering substances, wackiness ensues, but to appease Media Watchdogs, we aren't supporting drug usage, as it was clearly accidental. The Rocko and Home Film examples on Mushroom Samba seem to be a different take on the subject. The characters start behaving as if they had ingested a mind-altering substance, but again, drug use is not being condoned, it's 100% humorous becuse it's just impossible to get high off the things they've been taking. Some of the examples on the Mushroom Samba page really should be with the others
Gus: Hey, you at 24.199.53.58. Pick a name. Your stuff deserves some some kind of by-line.

Daibhid C: Pulled.

...because Luhrmann's interpretation is already under film, and it's highly unlikely the original play was intentionally referring to a drug invented in 1912.
