Looney Toons; Just as a note, there really is at least one master database of clown makeup patterns, maintained by one of the international clown organizations. Like an actor's name, a clown's makeup must be unique.
I wonder if the webcomic "Misfile" counts? Heaven contains a massive database, and one angel's misfiling a couple of records changes the lives (and bodies) of the two characters to whom the records pointed.
