Doktor von Eurotrash: I'd like someone who knows some Japanese to fill me in on this. It seems to me that this show should have a Meaningful Name trope, since I'm guessing the three main characters all have names related to their element: Hikaru=Light, Umi=Sea, and Fuu=something to do with wind. However, I don't speak Japanese and am just picking up these words from animé. If someone with a better grasp on the language sees the same connection, feel free to enter it on the main page.

Kotarou: I don't speak Japanese either but I knew that effectively Fuu means wind. Also it's noticeable that hikaru means light but Hikaru Shidou has magic of fire.

Ana a thing about Pettanko. Only Hikaru comply this trope.

Chris X: About the Pettanko... HOW? Yeah, Hikaru would be the more obvious one. But I think neither Umi nor Fuu had the Most Common Superpower, and the bath scene seems to imply that Umi and Fuu are also out-boobed by the rest of the Cephireans. Well, they're just 14...
