I Have The High Ground Discussion
Chrome Newfie: So, Andy Zero, what have we learned about trying to direct link to Tripod images? ;)

osh: Only thing I learn is making Ranma jokes in entries just date you... *snicker*

Space Ace: Maybe it's just me, but I've already clicked this trope several times thinking to find something named after the ridiculous endgame of Star Wars III.

Kizor: Who hasn't?

Darmok: I came here thinking "Why would someone make a trope about that stupid phrase?" only to be pleasantly surprised it has nothing to do with Rot S.

Ununnilium: "There was a fashion for this in the 1920s American South, I think." ...a fashion for what, exactly?

Fast Eddie: Pulled ...
There was a fashion for this in the 1920s American South, I think.

Did away with the Torchwood one, since it's more about Sitting On The Roof. In TW, the objects aren't thin, and don't suggest any supernatural ability (unless standing on a broad, flat roof is supernatural; to be fair, I've not tried it myself).

Masami Phoenix: Removed the example (below) of Sokka from the Avatar example. As stated in the description this is not about the tactical high ground advantage, and Sokka's positioning (standing on a wide flat wall merely four or five feet tall) doesn't fit the imagery this trope.
