When creating a handle or naming entries, don't use the actual names of TV shows or other works, as standard procedure is to reserve the title of works for, well, the works themselves.

Considering that we have namespaces, is this advice still valid?

CA Lieber: Most works' titles seem to be in the Main namespace

CA Lieber: I think I've seen the list of ironic guidelines elsewhere, though it undoubtedly long ago escaped to the Net orphaned and alone.

Radhreni: Can we add a line on proper use of abbreviations? I see so much i.e. and e.g. confusion it makes my head spin when it doesn't outright infuriate me. (For the record, i.e. = id est, literally "that is"; e.g. = exempli gratia, or "for the sake/purpose of an example." But this is a discussion page, so I may be preaching to the choir here...)
