The Tambourine Man: Removed the Final Fantasy VIII entry. Getting a butterfly to land on your hand once does not qualify you for this trope.
The Kakapo: I took out Belle from Beauty and the Beast, which was formerly listed as a subversion. The character spends plenty of time with animals- from the birds in the snow to the lambs at the water fountain. Just because she doesn't spend 50% of her time frolicking with ze animals doesn't mean she subverts this. It just mean it doesn't totally apply to her.
