Eden Of The East Discussion
  • This troper would like to convey just how impressed he was with the show's version of DC; it was absolutely spot on. The part where the businessman (who, apparently, has the likeness of Larry Craig, the senator that was cruising for sex in a bathroom) drops his pants for Akira takes place in front of a CVS. One where I've shopped. The area looks almost exactly like it does in the show. And the airport? It's Dulles, complete with the below-ground walkways that take you to the terminals and the curvy windows. This also happened to be the airport I've left from on his trip to Japan. Many shivers and squeals of happiness were had in seeing my hometown done in such detail.
