Commercials Tropes Discussion
Gus: Just wanted to remark on what a cool category!

Sci Vo: Congratulations, advertisers! You use so many Weasel Words that we had to categorify it!

Rob Mandeville: Here's a (possibly) new one: some ads feature a character going to extreme lengths to acquire the advertised product. Usually, these products are inexpensive (snack foods tend to use this technique), so a sane viewer might well ask why the character doesn't just go to the store and _buy_ some? I'd call it Product Seeking Behavior, like drug seeking behavior--the characters are acting like addicts.
Kalle: What's with the descriptions by the trope links all of a sudden? None of the other pages have that, and it can be better explained within the trope pages themselves... and it makes this page feel kind of muddled and cluttered.

Kilyle: Actually, I like it. And it makes it far easier to scan the list quickly and determine that I can't find the peer-pressure commercial trope ("Since I got in the loop" meaning "Why aren't you in the loop yet? Everyone cool is doing it"). Anyone know where it is?

Master Hand: I didn't, for the same reasons as Kalle. So, I've removed them for consistency.
