Seth: I've just finished watching this and i have one question. Do we have a trope for a series with only one gender present? Kimura is the only reoccouring male (Human) character in this entire series.
Ununnilium: In this case, it's a bishoujo series.
Scifantasy Might I suggest a better way to say "the visual equivalent of several daily comic strips"? I mean, you do read comics... Pavlov: Why is Lolicon in this one? Kimura preferred the older, developed girls. Susan Davis: Older or not, they're still in high school, and he's a grown man. (Read your Nabokov lately? Or listened to The Police?) Ununnilium: Like it says in Dirty Old Man: The "old" part of his description is mostly relative to the girls he accosts — a creepy thirty-something teacher eyeing his junior high school students is no less a Dirty Old Man than a geezer in his sixties pinching the bottoms of housewives in the supermarket. Pavlov: But the Lolicon article says age 12 and under, and Kimura very obviously passed over Chiyo-chan. Don't get me wrong, Kimura is still a freak and a half, but Lolicon isn't one of his sins. Pavlov: (later) Okay, is the change acceptable? K.o.R: Uhh, when did Kaorin and Chihiro get a Romantic Two-Girl Friendship? Chihiro has like 15 minutes of screen time in the whole series Dentaku: She gets a tad more attention in the manga, but even then appears to be just good friends with Kaori. Sabbo: Speaking of the manga, does anybody know where I can find it on the internet? (as in, like onemanga.com would have it, except for the fact it doesn't.) Sabbo (again): Never mind; I found it. Not sure if I found all of it though. :/ Anonymous: Why on earth is Sakaki listed as a Bifauxnen? She's kind of stoic and "cool" looking to people who don't know her, but there isn't a single masculine thing about her, and she doesn't really have that whole "elegant, mid-twenties man" look at all. I recommend deleting that one from the list. prescience: Done.
